The nude is band founder and bassist KOGA, and her figure and the darkening shadows represent the vulnerability and sense of impending doom that Japanese people felt as their COVID lockdown went on and on and on, followed by relief as it finally ended. The multi-layered lyrics are a reflection of the chaotic online arguments that took place as people with opposing viewpoints tried to out-shout each other. Pink-haired Angie was finishing high school at the time (she turned 20 in December) and she was genuinely saddened and frightened by the events and wondered what sort of world she would inherit when it was all over.

At this year's Naon no Yaon (annual female rockers' fest in Tokyo) this song was the first played after opening acts, as Gacharic Spin were the first band on of the main acts. Bridear, Chai, and Nemophila followed GS. Then the various band members teamed up to back solo artists in the second half of the show. Saw the show and got drenched, as it was raining the whole time, but worth it.

Good pick up on the light and dark elements.
When you look into translations of many of Gacharic Spin's lyrics they are often very dark subjects, even though the music itself is very uplifting. The lyrics are often rounded off with an element of hope at the end of the song. A very interesting combination.

Yeah, the visuals and storytelling are great in this one. One of the distinctive features of them (at least on their latest album) is the use of 3 vocalists trading phrases in such a precise manner.
btw, don't be surprised, if their next song will be totally different to what you heard so far. GS is unpredictable. You might also see lineup-changes (they had quite a few), although the core 4 (Hana, Koga, Tomo-Zo and Oreo) have been together for quite a while now (2012).
    Cheers :)

Lots more great stuff from Gacharic Spin to check out, as well as DOLL$BOXX, a group with many of the same members.
    I don't think you'll be disappointed.
If you liked the music for 'Bleach', you should check out SCANDAL.
They are the recording artists responsible for the tenth and fifteenth opening themes, as well as the theme for 'Bleach: Flame Bringer'.
'Shōjo S' was the tenth opening song.
'Harukaze' was the fifteenth opening song.
For something newer from the group, check out 'MIRROR', 'A.M.D.K.J.', or 'one more time'.
I've had a ticket for their twice postponed Anaheim, CA show since early 2020.
I should finally be seeing them live next month.
