    Beautiful homestead, the plants look so healthy! I must just correct you, a banana is a plant, not a tree.

    I love the accommodation idea as a way of making money. I will be building a conference centre. We will use it to host conferences and seminars, use it as a bible School as well. That will be our way of making money while leaving off grid

      I truly appreciate it thank you 🙏 I also trust in the Lord all Mighty. I pray we all become independent grow our own food work hard to provide for our families. Yes I studied IT back In the UK 🇬🇧 with Gods help I nailed it pass well understood it I fell in love with IT also I did e- commerce and business structure, but I enjoy troubleshooting always wanna fix issues. I enjoy building my own gaming PC also coding creating games. Back in the uk I recorded music and other artists and I have owned a music studio now building one in SA too soon be completed and gonna start charging studio time. Your ideas are done and sealed God brought you here I believe for reason. Not long your conference will be successful definitely great things will come to those who patiently wait. It’s strange and hard to get used too not paying electricity or water not having to wait in the line is a real success itself. Learning about wattages and how to save our planet consuming less energy can save the our climate.

      I know it might sound stupid, but cutting down unnecessary stuff like going out itself is a waste of cash drinking and parting won’t help at all. You can do it all after you have achieved all your goals, but for now it ain’t the right time. I blame the media for brainwashing us in believing we must have fun priorities booze and fun. We have the potential us youth to achieve anything.
      My son shaped my life just when he was born I was only 17 yrs. I completely stopped smoking and drinking I started to save that money and years later used it to start a new life also I did a lot of research I watched many homesteads videos and it helped me.

    I use 5Watts bulbs at the moment. I switch off lights I am not using and that saves me power. In the Kitchen we have a chandelier and use 3Watts bulbs on it, that is about 6 of them. I can only tell how much i am saving through "mental calculation". i am looking for a device that can tell me "digitally" how much i am saving. Any ideas?
    For the Solar street lights, what bulbs are you using?

    • @sahomestead2586
      @sahomestead2586  Před 2 lety

      You can buy a solar battery controller see and compare the difference. Your light bulbs 💡 are very low that’s very good you on point if you had a fridge that’s when you will need the controller. The street lights are 120w each they light up very well also come with 2 years warranty best to invest and lighten up your garden 🪴 especially in the plots you don’t want any dark hidden spots someone could be watching.

      @@sahomestead2586 Are your street lights connected to the system or are a separate "system" on its own? I am looking at adding a Generator as back up and to use it to charge the system especially in Winter. So far Winter has not been a problem in my current system
