Bang on. Too many referees are content with letting the game run than having the guts to call it as they see it. Then, when their decision is reviewed, their natural reaction is to go against the on field decision. A la, re-refereeing the game. I do think many fans are still confused over what is to be deemed clear and obvious and I think referees could do a better job of explaining that but that’s not getting away from the issue of refs flip flapping
