I really like how Eeluu and its evolutions seem to focus a tiny bit more on the rabbit-like aspects of Eevee rather than the canine/feline aspects, really separates them while still letting them both be similar enough to be related.
Thank you! I really like the subtle rabbit aspects of Eevee design, so with Eeluu standing on its hind legs, I wanted to give it bigger back legs blending a little bit of kangaroo into the design as well for the non-predatory physical power
I mean, Eevee doesn't really have any canine traits. It's just a long hair cat fused with a rabbit lol.
I’d contest that. I’ve always seen it as partially resembling a fennec fox with the coloring and large ears, which is a member of the canine family 🤷♂️
@professorkauri I could see it. I just see it more as rabbit ears that are more rigid like cat ears, and the tail being a cat tail that's as fluffy as a rabbit tail.
The face shape of Eevee and all of its evolutions are also not long enough in the snout to be canine to me. Like look more feline/rabbit in nature. Even Jolteon and Umbreon who have the longest snouts of the bunch.
@Zac_Frost I agree it’s more feline than canine, particularly when looking at the snout, but I also see it as neither here nor there. Somewhere right inbetween those two spaces.
The fighting could also be called “Champeon”.

Edit:After watching the whole video, I find it interesting how you managed to create a story for each eeveelution. My top 3 out of the 9 you showed are Buzzeon, Dusteon and Phanteon, with Buzzeon as the one in third, Dusteon in second and Phanteon in first.

I prefer the non-shiny versions of Buzzeon and Dusteon, but ABSOLUTELY LOVE the shiny version of Phanteon.

My favorite Pokémon type is also Ghost so it helps Phanteon with being first for me
Both the regular and shiny version of Grypheon are fantastic. I also really like how Drakeon and Buzzleon look and Shiny Mounteon looks like it has crystals sticking out if it's body therefore I prefer it over the regular version. Good Job!

This is actually a really good take on the thought of Eevee's evolutions being based on specifically Special types. While I'd not heard anything about a connection to Arceus, it still makes a lot of sense, and it makes a lot of sense for Eeluu to be related to Eevee and for it and its evolutions to be every bit as adorable. I especially really like how Pestileon is a subversion of the Poison Type that purifies pollution. Kind of makes me think of the Conduits from Infamous. As such, I might say that Pestileon is my favorite due to that subversion, and it reminding me of a game that I loved.
I love Brawleon's colors but Mounteon is such an amazing name! Amazing video!

Dusteon is my fav, it just looks so regal while also being very cute. I most captures the charm of the original eeveelutions imo while still being unique. I actually gasped out loud when i saw its shiny. I want one ❤ These are all great and the video is well produced. The steel type is the only one I'd give notes on, just that i think the furnace would work well integrated into a neck ruff. It being on the tail doesn't look bad by any means it just strikes a bit silly in a line of mons that's known for its coolness factor. It's got a cute racoon motif going on that i like tho. Anyway your art is awesome, keep up the good work. I'm gonna go be sad that these aren't in the games now lol

Not gonna lie, Eeluu kinda reminds me of a kangaroo with how its drawn. If theres ever a region based on Australia, Eeluu and these evolutions could be the eevee of the region, with the respective evolution items! These are all so good!! My favorites are Grypheon, Dusteon, Phanteon, and Drakeon! Buzzleon could also have been named Waspeon, if it had a more aggressive demeanor and design!

Dusteon I think is the best in this batch, easily recognizable as an evolution to Eeluu and simple enough to both make toys of and to remember in vivid detail after having seen it a single time, both of which are important to marketing it to an audience and garnering popularity on a similar scale to other successful Pokemon.

I had an idea for a special kind of eevee of my own years ago. Sueevee and Sueveon, essentially a "super eevee" that could change evolutions at will. The back story was a top level trainer and his eevee were exploring evolution mountain when they fell into an unexplored cavern at the mountain's heart where every kind of evolution stone and item could be found at once . . . during the crash, his eevee fell into a ring composed of one of each evolutionary type item and they all reacted at once, flooding her with energy. When it was over, she still looked like an eevee, only now as big as a persian with a collar of evolution stones about her neck. Instead of simply changing types, she could changer her evolution at will, altering her appearance and gaining all physical and energy type features of each one. This gave her an advantage in both battles and Coordinator Competitions. Later in the story, she evolved into Sueveon and took on features similar to Mew and Mewtwo, making her bipedal and in many ways more powerful and enchanting.
Glad to see I'm not the only one to come up with such wonder filled ideas

I kinda wish you would make a quadroped fighting type.
My ideas for how Eeluu would evolve is
Score 3+ Critical Hits in one battle = Brawleon
Level up with the 6 other Pokémon on your team all being flying types = Grypheon
Take 1000 steps while it is poisoned = Pestileon
Level up while the battle wether is set to Sandstorm = Dusteon
Moon Stone = Mounteon
Bread with any Bug Type pokemon = Buzzleon
Faint 4 times then defeat a Pokémon all in one battle = Phanteon
Trade while holding a metal coat = Foundreon
Get an eevee to level 70+ while it knows any Dragon-Type move = Drakeon
Those are some great suggestions! I love how each one is different and makes so much sense. But man, Phanteon would be a real mission to evolve haha
@@professorkauri if you ever decide to put these Pokémon in a Fan game or Mod them into an official game, Eeluu should be the only one of these Pokémon that would spawn in the wild, and it would spawn in the same areas as Eevee but be slightly rarer than Eevee
That would be pretty cool. Maybe one day, but that’s not in my area of expertise 😊

This is a really cool concept- the idea of Eevee specializing in more “Special” forms and an entirely separate Pokémon taking on the Physical evolutions. This is honestly something I could see existing in the actual Pokémon world.

My only critique would be the steel one looking like it should be steel/fire type.
But i love how unique every single on e of these are. So different then anything else I've seen.
I know you used the "might stone" to evolve Brawleon but Mighteon could be a good name for the fighting evolution if you were to change the name of the Might stone. Maybe call it Aura Stone instead.

I could see Foundreon's ability being Flame Body due to the heat put off from it's furnace-like body.
Yeah, my design probably fits a steel/fire type better than just a pure steel type

How about a stellar type eeveelution
i luved all of them especialy buzzyon but dose pikachu have unstable dna too because in alola it evolves into a psycic type rychu by eating the famous pancakes of the region, so to make a long story short could pikachu evolve into any other type (paird with electric of corse) by eating enough of a specific sweet and/or baked good, please use this theory in your reaserch

with the indigo disk dlc, and it's whole mechanic of pokemon able to become EVERY type at once, i feel like it was the perfect time to introduce more eeveelutions, or a new mechanic for eevee, but sadly nintendo dropped the ball there.

Leafeon is nature, flareon is fire, which is energy. Dusteon is dust, which is still physical, and foundreon is steel, also physical!
In generation 3, the types were split between physical and Special, and the corresponding moves matched that. While that has now been blurred in newer generations, eevee never got a form from the physical category. So I built this theory around that older theory, giving eevee the remaining special types, and a new cousin, Eeluu who took on all the physical types
I'm going after Pestileon
I don't think the stone thing really works with physical types. What if instead, Evelu uses the new sandwich or toy systems to evolve. Play with it and a Pokemon of the physical type you want it to evolve into, and after enough of that it will transform to match the type of it's playmate.

Other than it exists, I don’t know anything about the Stellar type. I’m trying not to spoil the DLCs for myself as I haven’t played the main Scarlet and Violet games yet. But Stelleon sounds good for a name ☺️

The others are great but Foundreon is kinda meh for me. Maybe because of it being a foundry which makes it more of a steel+fire type than pure fire type. Overall, great concept.
That’s fair enough. Foundreon was hard to come up with something at the time that wasn’t just armoured eevee. I didn’t want to take that approach as I’d already seen a few of those

I’m not familiar with that. I think that’d work for a general Pokémon design, but eeveelutions always have quite slim bodies, so you wouldn’t see much of the furnace
@@professorkauri Maybe it doesn't need to show much of the furnace, try shifting the attention to other part of it's body, like, for example, his paws. Maybe he can swallow up iron ingots and, with his internal furnace, molten it and use it as an attack method. And if you put the metal directly into his furnace, he will be able to forge it with his paws, using them as a forger hammer. It would have good stats in defense, sp.attack and physical attack. Sounds good to you?
