actually imagine if there was a couple open qualifier spots. or even just one spot. big ass double elim tournament the week before worlds and the winners are entered into the wildcard. It would be even more hype if they didn’t enforce rosters that were teaming together, say in a world nrg, v1, rogue don’t make it, jstn, beastmode, aqua sign up because there’s no rules on rosters having to be the same

As a semi-casual viewer (catch maybe half of each split and worlds lol) I agree that it's difficult to keep up with who is on what team and where teams are as far as points bc it seems to change every few weeks. Some stability/consistency from teams would be nice to see.

You just got to look at the difference between how NRG and Vitality approached the off season how different regions invest in talent/youth. NRG stuck with a roster that underperformed but had established stars. Vitality tried to build again from the bottom. I guarantee Vitality will be challenging again this year before NRG does. Also liquid in EU staying out of 2 regionals to stick with their young team. Now Daniel, Aqua and Evoh are examples of being picked up but they kind of prove the rules rather than change it.
Well vitality's chances of making the fall major and worlds so far looks pretty low since they didn't even make a regional. I don't think NRG will make a major but vitality won't be challenging unless zen comes in, if he even will at this point

I was thinking other regions moving to NA would fuck over NA but now they get consistent EU and SAM play styles to practice against in regionals instead of just at majors
I do love jack and noly moving to NA, 2 of the people I really like and want to see play against my other favorite players now. So dope, furia might be in over their heads if they don't figure things out. Not like they played terribly but they didn't play like top 4 furia from last season
The low hours stuff is so weird to me cause as I pro athlete I would stop myself from playing video games during the season because of how tired my eyes got from looking at a screen for a long time. So I think it varies from one player to another on how it long you should practice

Serious question: Why do orgs even go after banned players? They are banned for a reason, i feel like orgs promote or "ok" theses offenses and basically cheating. They have 0 idea how they gonna perform, and also what the overall situation is gonna be when they are unbanned. Feels like a stupid move every time.
And also, as a player...why would you sign like half a year in advance not knowing how the team will perform. Vitality will not make worlds, and now he is signed to that team. Could have waited till the trading window before the ban ends and gotten into a team that would actually make worlds.

It makes complete sense for zen given that he is pre signing to a massive org who are going to back him. Secondly the org does have a right to clearly go after him given he is zen probably one of the biggest prospects rlcs has ever seen.

By making the same teams comptete for every major how is it really different from worlds? If you are gonna try and prevent the up and coming teams fron proving themselves when they are getting strong.
This also gives more prizepool to lesser teams and less prizepool ti the new but better teams. Seems unfair.
Also the last major is gonna be conpletely pointless cause more or less all the teams are gonna be the same that are gonna compete at worlds

To come across to a new region, with a completely new roster, barely any time to scrim and to still make it to the grand finals of the first event after smacking and utterly obliterating teams like NRG, V1 and SSG along the way after most people didn't even have them making top 8... yeah, I think they did alright. Currently 2nd best team in NA and 2/3rds of the team aren't even NA, must sting.
Bro look at the teams Geng beat, first event making top 2 is crazy, btw faze was playing out of their minds, just look at what they did to G2 (y'know, the world championship finalists, the kings of NA?)
@@Snapey81 haha nah man I like apparently jack, I use his in game settings for my play and his mindset is dope. But to say farming NA with all the roster changes and regional changes is crazy, now for V1 and NRG they need to do something but for those like optic, ssg, even G2 because Faze were peaking is a bit of a stretch.
@@Ginja_DaNinja I mean, they literally did. FaZe definitely peaked for the last 2 series of the play-offs, they lost 3-1 to G2 in Swiss and finished 4th (below GenG) but peaked in the semis for the G2 rematch and in the final when it mattered. Fair play to them, but they are an established team most have as top 2 in NA, GenG were obviously the underdog coming into every series and what they achieved on their first attempt was incredible.
@@Snapey81 I'll give it to them, but will definitely have to see how they do next split. I love the way Noly plays, seems like him and players like firstkiller or Joyo are similair in the way they act like it's freeplay sometimes when they have the ball and the way they move is crazy. Going to be an interesting scene to see develop I do hope there is another cross up tournament, I can't remember what it was called but they did the 6 or 7 leaders from EU and NA choose 3 players to play for them and had a mini tournament between the teams, I think johnnyboi put it together and it started with an S but I'd love to see that again with these new players.
Arsenal was mid as fuck when playing with retals though. That's really unfair to retals, retals was consistently better than arsenal and SSG would be better with retals Daniel LJ. 100%, let's be real here.
