Thank you for this useful video. I'm looking to get a replacement for my corolla hatchback and I found a dash kit that accept L shape modular stereos, but also found a kit that allows you to mount a 2 din stereo, is that right? Modular stereos are very limited, just pioneer and alpine. Thank you for your help again
Nice fine, I had not seen 2 dins on this model - I stayed with the stock because my main interest is in the music quality and these newer models are tough to just pop in a HU like the old days!
Thanks mate. Love to see more of your corolla 2020 video. It's off topic. But my corolla trunk doesn't have a release or remote open. Do you know how to add a remote button Thanks again
I have not done that before, but I am sure its a matter of installing a power lead/cable from front to back and having a button you push. If you want to do a key fob install, thats almost certainly a more technical job and would require a kit designed for that
Holy shit thank you exactly qhat I needed to see...have a 2022 corolla xse....wanted to know how they are gonna install my system and get behind stupid iPad display head unit without destroying my dashboard ect ect...So it's that easy I guess so I shouldn't be worried? I also have ocd so I'll notice any slight scratches/marks/dings/basically anything. So video of entire car inside before dropping off.
Hahaha - sounds like you need to get good at it yourself so nobody else touches your car ;-) I have a whole article series on Toyota Nation forum that goes through what I did to the rest of this little car "2020 SE Sedan Build"
Depends on how you define 'simple'. I would say its involved, but not hard. It requires a lot of work and time, but you can do it for sure. Check this out: www.toyotanation.com/threads/2020-se-sedan-build-part-1-stereo.1675414/

Easy task!
Do you know if there's someway to update the head unit to support Android auto
Search AliExpress for your car model and year then " Android head unit" you will be surprised by the results
@@anasalamri8320 Nice. Thanks mate.
Does anybody know how to install vehicle in motion bypass? Just trying to search for music, watch videos, or album arts while driving....
How do you watch something on the screen I can only listen to music I won’t play CZcams I have iPhone tried Apple CarPlay
Is there enough room to fit an Alpine KTP-445U amp behind the radio?
Maybe, I don't have one to test, but there is a fair amount of room back there if you are creative. Its easy to remove it and get back there to check.
You don't have to anymore because 2021 Corolla sedans are in dealerships now and they have Android Auto.
Was the install fairly simple for Subs ?

Dawsons Path definitely looks super involved thank u for the link !!
i'm trying to put an ipad mini in there? you think it's doable?
I'm not sure, but give it a shot! I feel like its the right size, but custom mounting is going to be your focus, unless someone makes one already.
That head unit cost $8040
