This OEM Style Dashcam from FitCamX comes with 3840x2160 UHD resolution and records video at 30 FPS.
The Dashcam is seamlessly integrated into the Corolla. It gets installed in place of the plastic box located on the windshield.
The installation is plug-and-play. The camera gets connected to the existing connector in the vehicle. It uses one short wire. There is no need to install long wires.

Just installed it today in 2022 Corolla SE. i got the model with front and rear cams. watching the video and reading the manual is a must. The video explains the gotchas and how to approach it. The clips , the wiring were a challenge but the video helped to prepare for the challenge. Total time for installation was 30 minutes. No issues with car sensors and safety features that I noticed. I would recommend to new installers to examine the clips on how it locks into place. Try practice removing it because the cover is concealed from view and pretty much you are using your sense of touch to release the clips. I will update my comments if anything breaks. 😜Thumbs up. 👍
Update:. After month of use no problems yet. One thing I noticed is the download from the DVR to your phone via built-in WiFi is bit slow but manageable. Also realized once you are connected to the built-in WiFi you are not connected to the internet so must disconnect from DVR after done downloading or manage the DVR.

Hello, very nice video! thanks , it is what i really need. Question: is it possible to lock video just pressing the button in the camera? usually i save video and after long time have to review, without this option the videos will be deleted.
Thank you! This dashcam comes with the G-sensor. It will automatically save the video in case of collision but I don't think there is an option to manually save the current video file.
Does the memory card come pre formatted?
hi morozov, i also install mine. i set my recording to 3minutes with 128gb but when i reach the 128gb full memory, it only records 15sec skip 15 sec and the record 15sec and so on and on. did that happen to you also? i set mine to erase the old vidoes for the new recording
Hi, never had this issue. Try to format the SD card.

It is completely up to you if you want to install the aftermarket dashcam. From our experience it has not caused any problems so far. It does not drain the battery.

can the camera continue to run even when the car is off? i was thinking of purchasing something like this because there's been an increase with cars being broken in to in my area :(
No, the camera can not record when the vehicle is off. I believe you can get the hardwiring cable from fitcamx. This cable needs to be connected to the fuse box and this will allow the camera to use parking mode.
I bought this for my 2022 toyota corolla le, after installing, my lane departure, pre collision, and sign recognition all went down :/
Everything was working fine in the 2020. Toyota could have made changes in the 2022.

Will this affect the sensor since it is sharing the same connector as the camera?

Does the camara has parking mode?

How is it in the parking mode?
By default it doesn't have the parking mode. But you can order the parking mode cable from the Fitcamx. This will allow you to hardwire the dashcam to the fuse box and use the parking mode.
On problem, it is not 4K.
