I have a blackvue camera front and rear and since my state doesn't require a front plate, it would be nice to have if the state you live in does

I always hear good things about the Blackvue! Only reason I didn’t want the rear camera, was because of all the excess wire that would need to be tucked away!

Are you able to remotely start recording or check the camera while the car is off? I want to also use a car camera as an extra home security cam

If you wanted to do it like that, you would need to hardwire the dash came to an always on power. As of right now, this will only turn on when the cars turns on. So this won’t drain your battery.

Does your have a little play or does the camera fit snug? I feel like I’m able to push mine up just a bit and there is very slight play.

Mine fit just as snug as the stock plastic piece. Make sure to transfer over the little red clips from the old trim piece!
If you have already done that, make sure it is snapping into the correct spot, which can be slightly tricky if not positioned good!
