I have rapid hit slideshot full bore riccochet rounds and its my main for high comp on pc. I also have snapshot rangefinder and rapid hit swashbuckler with good barrels mags and mws(200+ hrs t2 reckoning) . Slideshot always been my favorite. Enjoy it

This blows my mind. In back to back days I got a Spare Rations both with range masterwork, Ricochet Rounds, Rapid Hit, and Slideshot. I was crushed that after hundreds of runs I couldn’t get Kill Clip but now I’m rethinking things after watching you land those quick headshots. Thanks brother. 👍🏼✌🏼

Hi, i main bottom tree striker since the buff to frontal assault a few months back. After Shadowkeep my search for god rolls are really different and mostly search for stability with a good amount of range. Frontal assault even on Mouse and Keyboard is a game changer and how you get more consistent thanks to the huge stability boost. This has made me main a spare with almost max stability and rapid hit making it after 2 crits the easy follow for those consistent 3 taps. Even on sniper the sole survivor can roll snapshot + slideshot and thanks to the range boost and stability boost when entering a fight sliding you either get a really easy headshots or a really easy follow up when you switch cause the stability boost means even after the sniper shot the reticle does not move and when you switch that's where your other gun will be.
im on mnk but i always wondered why my slideshot opening shot waking vigil felt way better than my rapid hit kill clip spare i guess this is why thanks for the Info drew great video as always
PC Controller player also, here. Thank you for this, I knew there was a reason I liked my Ten paces so much over other handcannons I have that never dropped with it. (*slideshot/timedpayload)

I have a stability MW, slideshot, zen moment, ricochet rounds waking vigil and its the most consistent roll I've ever had for the gun.

Console player here and i've really been enjoying a high stability role austringer with eye of the storm and rangefinder. Old fashioned with slideshot and snapshot also feels really nice.
I must admit (controller user on PC) following the range changes I put Not Forgotten away and started using Luna’s Howl again. Still the best feeling HC I’ve found for the Crucible.
A slideshot spare rations with a slideshot snapshot sole survivor sounds awesome. Time to farm.
A rapid hit quickdraw Kindled Orchid is a beast!!! Boost to handling with quickdraw Boost to stability and reload with rapid hit top it off with a range masterwork you have yourself a pretty good handcannon.
I'd argue that a Poly Rifling > Steady Rounds > Rangefinder > Explosive Rounds might be better. Still farming for it but you get the benefits of rangefinder, and the flinch with the added fact that the explosion from exp rounds doesn't falloff. Kinda like Cammy's Better Devils with those 2 perks. Kindled already has decent handling so I feel like QDraw is a bit overkill.
I love JQK3 with high handling and snapshot + demolitionist. It has a reload masterwork could be worse but that plus chaperone I feel like I could swap back to my hand cannon immediately. It’s so hard going back to not having snapshot Imo but I’m deff excited to try out a slide shot roll
I have a spare with slideshot, rapid hit. Very stable, and amazingly easy recoil control. However, I tend to use my JQK 3 with supremacy as my kinetic here recently.

I've always sworn by my stability mw hammer forged, Ricochet rounds, rapid hit, slideshot spare rations and I'm glad other people are beginning to appreciate slideshot
Drewskys - how long after the slide ends does the slideshot benefit persist? I heard somewhere that it only lasts during the slide. Which means if you're not timing your first shot within the slide, it will not be useful. Thanks.

Have a slideshot rapid hit spare and slideshot rampage bygones. They both feel great but I prefer my rapid hit kill clip spare in pvp cause it feels the best to me.
Also, does slideshot proc when you slide with a full mag or do you have to fire a round, slide to get the reload and then get it?
Snapshot slideshot on m+k is great! consistant recoil for close engagements makes it a competitive option
You expressed why I stopped using rapid hit perfectly. The recoil deviation can really mess with how you compensate for each shot. I settled on a threat detector/slideshot SR that feels so much more consistent in all situations
Edit to add: I also lucked out with hammer forged/Rico rounds and stability MW. So +15 range/+20 stability. Feels so much better than my max ranged Rangefinder roll did
What's the roll on that Beloved? I'm currently using a Hammer Forged, Flared Magwell, Snapshot, Box Breathing w/ Handling roll. I 100% know that I can't use any without Snapshot or Quickdraw, but I'm not sure what else to look for
how do you manage to slide and instantly aim like that each time? Is your slide mapped to a different button?

Full Bore/HCR/Rapid/Slide with stability masterwork. Really is pretty crazy on controller. Originally wanted Rangefinder instead, but not anymore.
I personally love eye of the storm on handcannons alot and wish more would roll with it. I still use my Austringer with it and it just feels so nice and consistent. It's what I imagine handcannons could feel like without bloom.

Yep absolutely still love my austringer. Hopefully 140s get a slight damage buff soon (2 head 1 body) but guns like austringer and kindled orchid def still have a their place. My austringer has opening shot and eye of the storm. Its beastly. That extra accuracy at the beginning and the end of engagements

Got 2k kills on it before the handcannon range nerf back whem handcannons had amazing range 😭😭.grinded the opening shot one out this season as feel opening shot is a great perk on handcannons in this meta and combine it with EOTS. Either way its a great handcannon. Now if only they buff the 140s damage it will be my constant go to i reckon. Like you said i wish eye of the storm dropped more on handcannons like spare rations and some of the 150s. I feel like they missed an opportunity with bringing back jackkingqueen and its perk pool.

slide shot is a very good perk, it gives bonus stability and range, and reloads your gun all in one perk! im on MnK and its so good
I have a richochet rounds, hammer forged, range MW Spare Rations with slideshot/rapid hit. It is so much better than any other handcannon I have.
Is there a 150 HC that can roll with Slideshot and Firmly Planted together?
My Spare Rations role: Fullbore, Alloy mag, Rapid Hit, Rangefinder, and Stability mw. Bounces a bit and sometimes have trouble controlling it. I'm not a bad player but on console 150s feel much less consistent then 140s.
I have a slideshot rapid hit but very low stability with full bore (i am mnk) and handling masterwork its genuinely so nice and i prefer it over my max range and more lethal perk spare rations i have just because of the consistency of it
Would slide ways on a rapid fire pulse do the same?

I have two waking vigils one with slideshot opening shot and one with zen moment outlaw. Less stability on the zen moment one. However it feels ten times better than the slideshot one.
I’ve always been a fan of stability (I’m Xbox) even before the nerf to range on hand cannons cause what good can your shots do if they don’t even connect? I love old fashioned rn cause it has INSANE stability
You havent tried the Old Fashioned with Firmly Planted and Moving Target
You should try Kindle Orchid with Rampage + killclip and range masterwork is insane on console and PC
I have slideshot, ricochet rounds, rapid hit and either full bore or smooth bore. Stability master work... it’s slick...
I've never noticed that Slideshot actually gives a stability boost. I noticed it when I got a Ten Paces with Slideshot and Rampage and used it a bit and it just felt good!
I haven't had a hand cannon feel that good since the first month of owning Luna's Howl
I've gotten only 2 god rolls for my spare rations. One with Full bore, high cal. Rounds, rapid hit, and moving target, with a range mw. And the other with high stability, having full bore, ricochet rounds, rapid hit, and slideshot, with a stability mw. I play on M&k and to be honest I slide way to much in pvp for me not to use my high stability, slideshot spare rations. I've also notice that i've been getting a lot more head shots/kills with my stability spare rations over my high range one. The sights seems to stay/go back to were i'm aiming a lot faster than my range spare rations! Overall the stability helps a ton with my lack of aiming!

Im on a controler in ps4, and funny enough! I just got a stability masterwork, hamerforged rifling, ricochet rounds rapid hit and slideshot roll drop, and I was a little bit surprised because, last time I used a normal spare rations it seemed like trash in ps4, but then I played with this one and thought it wasnt bad at aaall, this explains it, thanks Drew!

Have you tested the range of thorn yet? With the dot damage staying the same wouldn’t it have a natural benefit over every hand cannon because of it?

Hey drew i actually wanted a slideshot spare too but I’ve got every other god roll like rapid hit kill klip or rf or moving target . I farmed about 40-50 spares but got unlucky with slideshot. I gave up and stayed with my max stability rapid hit kill klip spare . So my question now is should I go for another week of farming spares ?
It also gets pretty significant stability with the know em down perk of the solar hunter I guess that’s enough
For me, I farmed 28 hours straight pretty much to get 1 slideshot roll. I can't use 150s without slideshot

Slideshot is a great.perk and I usually use it on most HCs but for some reason, I can't use it on Spare Rations. The difference in stability throws my muscle memory off.

hey drew, its demiurge the ten paces and terrabah guy. we were talking about MT/OS on ten paces the other day and today and it was the primary roll i wanted. however after seeing this i gotta think abt slideshot/OS as it is an available roll. so the true question is do we want MT or slideshot? i am on MnK and personally dont value stability all that much but it is important.
