    If am not mistaken, It's not dollars it's rupees. In India the treatment costs 30 lakhs rupees and in the U.S it costs 4 crore rupees.

      Yes, My mother took it a month ago. We had to pay 70 to 80 lakhs for Car T infusion alone. I think from now on it will be available in market at lower rate

    Trust me now India mastering this technology is a blessing for people of the world, becuase these tharapies are unafordable in US and EU, fortunately in India it's very very affordable. In India it costs around $48K USD, as per my recent research.

      except that they are HORRIBLE managers when they have gone through the H1B green card process in the US - harassed and beaten down for many years until they get their green card, then they treat those who they are "mangers" over like the way they were treated!
      There are websites with reviews where employees are advised to AVOID Indian managers!

    I prefer the monoclonal approach over gene therapy, but it's good to see someone trying to make medicine cheaper. CAR-T can actually increase your risk of cancer.

    I thought the best medicine is prevention not cure, so going back to traditional cancer free growing and cooking of indian food would be a better solution.

    Altering the T cells and growing them in the lab has already been established several years ago so it's not new. It's more expensive in developed countries because of the high salaries of lab techs and doctors, cost of hospital stay and the high markup by pharma company. In India it will be much cheaper because all of these are more affordable priced.
