I’m really hyped to see this trailer next Thursday. When you mentioned about illumination playing it safe in their films. While I enjoy their films, I did hear Meledandri said they’re planning to take risks in the future!! So I bet this film will change the studio just like their adult animation division they formed

Finally, someone else who likes the Angry Birds Movie! Tbh I think the voices of the characters are odd (specifically Mario and Bowser) like you said, but who know’s? Maybe it’ll be better then expected. Also I agree that mediocre is hot grabage. I am kinda interested to see what the artstyle will look like in the illumination Animation, will it be there own artstyle? Or will it be the Og 3D Mario artstyle. Also I think that maybe if the feedback from the trailer is enough to give the studio some idea it might be like the Sonic movie all over again except this time they will get a better person to voice the characters.
