The blade controversy its stupid, its people just somehow forgetting that Bethesda is owned by Xbox. Blade is being made by Bethesda not Xbox first party division. aslo at the end of the day, why are we even worry about it?

The game awards is kind of interesting because one of the things I don't like about it is the fact that it's definitely pretty much what you guys have already said but for my personal take on it I just want to say that what they should just do is have games being shown and stuff with the performance and the ads but that's.

2. XB platform isn't as big

I dont play fortnight or even online games at all other than halo. But i downloaded fortnight to play the lego mode with my daughter. Its pretty fun for being free

The argument can’t make Blade exclusive doesn’t make sense because they are coming to an agreement with a 3rd party. If Marvel want it on all consoles they’ll stipulate that in the contract
They can but in that case I think Microsoft would just say no and let Arkane do Dishonored 3 or something. Why would they accept to develop the game for competitors?
The issue is Xbox branding is poor, look at the Wolverine and Spider-Man announcements, playstation splash screen intro and that tells you all you need to know. Blade, no splash screen, no logo, no mention of Xbox at all. On the biggest screen with a Marvel IP you should be shouting about Xbox.
If I was an Xbox I would introduce a new Xbox / Microsoft Gaming splash screen in every game from now on, load up COD 2024 you see it, elder scrolls 6, it's there, everything you own put your name on it.

The Blade trailer is basically only on the Marvel CZcams channel, it only shows on the reupload channels. So it being a Marvel announcement like Rand said, makes sense to me.

Arkane will need to step up in terms of production values because if it's your typical Arkane game Blade might win some awards but it's not something that will generate mainstream hype.

That’s how you make the platform more attractive. And when Redfall flopped it fell on Xbox not Bethesda , so as much as they are independent they are still Xbox in public perception. Confusing messaging only hurts your consumer

Lyon and Austin teams are completely separate. Austin team used Void/CryEngine/UE4, Lyon has only used Void engine so far.

I dislike that they annouced Blade. Another game that almost become vapourware for half a decade between announcement and release. There's a metric butt tonne of games annouced since 2019 that we have no idea when we will see them. IF we will see them. I care about whata coming in 2024 not 2029 or 2030.
Blade could be coming soon, they don’t announce games too early. It’s just there’s select few that need to do it early, but there is a lot that will get announced within 6-18 months of release

Good joke thats why playstation performs better on all multiplats against any Xbox console and the playstation exclusives are another level to Xbox games Xbox can't even beat ps4 exclusives never mind ps5. PlayStation is king of console 👑.
Lol, buddy the Series X and S are not the same. Far from it. They do use the same CPU but it runs at a lower clock on the S compared to the X. The GPU and memory are scaled back as well. It is a budget console after all. Regardless, of the three consoles the Series X and PS5 are actually pretty on par with each other in real world gaming performance while the Series S has struggled at times. That is why some games have been delayed at times on the Series consoles or some features removed. It has nothing to do with the X but the S. Owning both the Series X and PS5 that is where the performance is at buddy. If you want to save money however then that is where the S comes into play.

XSX and XSS use the same CPU (yes XSS clocked lower), but that CPU is more powerful than PS5 CPU. XSS may have half the GPU of PS5 and low ram, but it only displays up to 1440p native. Half the GPU half the resolution. PS5 GPU is overclocked 🤷♂️
XSS is a budget console and of course not going to compete with the XSX/PS5, but to say it’s not capable is naive. Every dev who said the XSS can’t do something, came back and said it can. Larian is a good example of this - next gen game in a ‘budget’ console 🙃
Understand XSS is cheaper/less powerful therefore there is going to be sacrifices compared to XSX/PS5, but the devs are not utilising the tools available to them and don’t optimise.

I would not say dominates for anyone including Xbox. It was a good show however for games. First and third party alike. As for the Xbox Tax it is and has been non existent. This was a fairy tale some fanboys made up to make them feel better about Starfield not be in the GOTY list along with other things, lol.

Case in point, Metro UK who explicitly said they gave Hi-Fi Rush a lower score because Xbox didn't have many games in 2022. Or how about Quantum Break, which outlets like Polygon admitted "was reviewed as an assessment of the entire Xbox platform as a whole and not on the sheer quality of the game." Oh and we can't forget about half of the negative Starfield critic reviews, such as Meristation, Metro UK, Jimquisition, and So Videogames Podcast being from those who admitted they played Starfield for only around 3-5 hours, which is insane.
It is a fact that negative Xbox articles get more clicks than negative PS or Nintendo articles, it is also a fact that positive PS or Nintendo articles get more clicks than negative PS or Nintendo ones. As such, journalists compensate for those disproportionate clicks by making their articles slanted towards Xbox in a negative manner.

It’s a totally new rogue lite mode with obvious hints at narrative bits as well with the greek saga music playing and showing a cyclops. It’s dlc because it’s fully new content (and free I might add). Why would they just add muspelheim from the first game that’s such a stupid take lol.

Lol, PS has never been a joke bud. Owning both consoles I can tell you I have been more worried about Xbox over the years than PS. They are just having a slow year with releases something on the Xbox side you should know. I know I complained for years about it and we are just now finally getting games three years in this gen.
