Yep he's right about Tony.
Her husband was just morbidly curious about a mob boss, I can't blame him for that. But this line:
"You're gonna get past psychotherapy with its cheesy moral relativism, and you're going to get to good and evil. And he's evil."
Is 100% true.
Every italian boy bows down to the freckles
And visa versa…look at Boston…constantly being fought over by the Irish and Italian mobs
@@mikeyoungblood1642 Also, look at all the Irish-Italian marriages.
She's right. They love them some Irish girls. Al Capone wife was Irish
As much as I hate to admit it, yeah you kinda right.
In spite of his douchery I love what he says. "You're gonna get past psychotherapy to good and evil, and he's evil" Tony might be relatable and human ultimately, but he's still evil.
"On a human level"
This was my favorite scene in the series, because it perfectly explained Melfi's relationship with Tony.
How so?
@@Capcoor Her husband said "When you get past the moral relativism and get to good and evil, he's evil." By the last season Melfi came to the realization that she couldn't help Tony because of that. She wasn't helping him overcome his various neurosises or become a better person, but become a better criminal, which was evident to us the audience since season one. That made her feel complicit in his crimes, leaving her no choice but to cut him off.
@@gungfugilman9529 but knowing her she woulda came back to him if he was alive or not in prison to be honest mainly bc she’d feel bad by the way she let him down it was mainly her friends who put them ideas in her head
RIP Richard Romanus
“Watch it, Richard. Your Calabrese is showing.”
Would he be less aggressive if he was a Sicilian?
best line in the whole scene right there😅😂
For this clip alone I am subscribing - thank you GG.
Anytime! Thanks for watching!
I love how many individual scenes of this show you can find. This is literally one of my least favorite scenes in the show lol and I could not be happier someone posted it so I can refer back to it. Some people love it though! Shows how good this show really is
Richard calling it literally after the curtain was raised
What a great scene
Sometimes the compassionate approach works, but not this time.
Melfi's Small Fight With Borko. Now listen I don't want to ruffle any feathers here but...
Love the "borko" comments.
They're fun little reminders that people love these clips. Thanks for the comment.
Hope you enjoyed the video.
@@gangstagulp great clips, love your channel.
“Where’s the rest!”
😂
Mean streets
He right tony is evil 😈
And Richard is insecure about him being Italian and how Italians are "represented". lol
@@jamesmary8953 he isn't proud of it, lol. Theres honor in shame.
