with regards to placements, is it best practice to choose only one or is it OK to target keywords, topics AND a specific list of CZcams Channels?

For some reason I can't get to the overview on my google ads account. I have to do a search for CZcams ads to get to this feature. I am already registered with a google ads account but I never created an ad before. So I don't know why I can't get to options like you did.

Hi this is a very good video! Question(s)! Can you put an ugly affiliate link for example in the final URL but then have a different URL (Vendor's product name dot com) in the display URL? or do the URLS have to contain the same words? Also, If i was to choose to have my ad placed only on certain videos or on certain channels, would I be able to skip all of the targeting as i know the target audience of those individual videos or channels is my relevant audience? Hi, Wes. Really appreciate your content and the insight your share! I'm wanting to run CZcams ads for LASIK practices using the in-market and search audiences but running into a hiccup. Google is saying that I need an online pharmaceutical license to run ads about LASIK. I contacted support regarding this, and I'm wondering if you have any ideas that would work for targeting that would be equally effective. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Question... if I have two ads that are different videos the second ad doesn’t show up after I save it and no other option for my spending or target audience. Is it automatically the same campaign for all new ads too? Just a different video?

I have a video channel that is not partner verified yet so I can neither add a card nor a link out to a website in the end screen.
I made a video ad that includes text with information about the link to which the people should come.
I get views at two cents each but only say about a 24% click through rate on almost 1000 views in two days.
Is it possible for me, because I am using adwords, to be able to add an end screen out to my landing page on my CZcams video?
If so how?
24% click through is actually very high for youtube, congrats! I'm not sure if ads let you do that if your channel isn't verified, but you can at least make use of the CTA button thats visible throughout the video in the bottom left corner.

Thx Marty! Not sure if there's an option to PPC, but I've always paid per view. (by view, its measured as a view of over 30 secs.)

google has changed a couple of things; particularly "affinity audiences" ... I know you're super busy, but an update would be awesome. Or maybe I should just pay for an hour with you. I think it would be worth it for me

I'm in the UK, I have started a CZcams channel about USA classic cars and the people that love them in the UK and all around the world.
I wasted £500 on Facebook advertising. It had hardly any effect at all. I haven't spent any money on CZcams advertising yet as I really detest not being able to talk to a human being when I'm gonna spend £500 ($600) or even more!!!
My channel is similar to other automotive channels, especially one called "Petrolicious", but I guess my USP is that I'm English, not American. In an ideal world, I'd like my advert to appear as an in-stream ad ahead of these other car centred CZcams channels. I assume I can't make it THAT specific?
You totally can. You can specify which "placements" you want, by choosing a channel or even a specific video or videos. Competition might be stronger from channel to channel though, so you MAY pay more to show up when you get super specific. Cheers!

Kendall, yes, that's called a custom affinity audience. You specify a list of websites, and can target all their traffic.

what if you arnt selling anything and you just want to get your video to get views? how does adwords work then?
You'd use the same principles of targeting to your audience, and make sure to use a verbal CTA to subscribe to your channel.
I am a car sales professional. Do you think a video ad showing my offer without any talking will be effective.
It could be, but I think its a missed opportunity to connect on a more human level.
