Hi Emma. I use my dryer on low or medium heat and never have a problem with any wrinkles. The higher the heat the worse the wrinkles are. I usually just use low heat, if they aren't dry then I just put it on again. I always put the laundry away after it's dry. I got a outside clothes line that looks like an umbrella for Christmas. A hole has to be dug and neither myself or my husband can dig the hole. Our dirt here in Texas where we live is all rocky, like shale. We live on a ridge so it's near impossible to dig a hole. My husband will do a bit at a time as his back will allow. I am excited for it to be up because I hate putting bedding in the dryer. It will be so much easier to do my bedding outside.❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋

Is there anyone that can help you dig the hole Judith?
I like getting my washing on the line.
Is it really hot in Texas?

@@gettingtidy2495 No there isn't anyone. My husbands sister lives nearby but she has back issues. We tried a pole digger but the rocks get in the way. We can't rotor till it because it will brake the blades. The only thing we have found is to saturate the ground and dig a little. But still it's hard work. Yes. it hot here, we've had the air conditioner on for the past month. 94 degrees here today. We've had a lot of thunder and lighting and hail storms. Very scary. Tornados all over the place. Terrifying. It gets very hot, the hottest I've experienced is 115 degrees. That's why we really can't have a garden here, the heat just kills everything, no matter how much you water. That's why I get so excited to see your garden, it brings me joy! I'm very excited to get to hang my laundry out, it's just going to take time to get that hole. Love to you, Judith🦋🦋🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤

Hi Emma. I tend to tidy up and clean throughout the day. Five minutes, ten minutes here and there. Returning items to the room it belongs to, at least and I tend to do 2-3 loads of washing a week.

Floor lamps here in the US tend to be quite a bit taller than your German floor lamp and they often have skinny metal or wood bases. We're more used to seeing table lamps that have ceramic bases. How great that your daughter is interested in getting rid of more stuff! If your clothes are getting very wrinkled in your dryer try putting in less clothes. My dryer does better with fewer clothes in it. When the clothes have room to move around they don't get as wrinkled. Also if I take the clothes out of the dryer immediately after it stops and fold or hang the clothes, they aren't as wrinkled. If I leave them to sit in the dryer for awhile they have more wrinkles by the time I remove them. Bed sheets are the items that usually get tangled and twisted in my dryer so I stop it halfway through and detangle them and then turn the dryer back on for the rest of the time. It sounds like you have some nice family time coming in the next few days. Enjoy! ☺💃💃💃🎶🎶

You’re welcome. I’m guilty of doing those things too. Now that my kids are grown I have less laundry so it’s easier to do smaller loads.

Hello Emma! Lovely to see you, on the subject of tumble dryers, I don’t find they particularly screw my clothes up but I find them useless to dry bedding, that really does ball up,for me anyway. I’m the opposite, when I line dry (which is always my preferred option) I have to iron it, when it’s been in the dryer I fold and put away😂
Remi does have some great tips doesn’t she. xx

@@gettingtidy2495 like most people I don’t use any softener in towels, line drying them in summer always makes them ‘rough’ I prefer that as they dry your skin better , in winter drying them in the tumble dryer they’re very soft and fluffy which my hubby prefers😊x

Wow,at 33:50, the emerald green tiles on the dining room fireplace are as stunningly beautiful as the teal green ones in the lounge are!👌 When you have to choose between two items to keep only one, such as a pot or a vase, choose the ones that match those two colors of tile, they will just pop on the mantles!👍

Regarding putting a dryer in a spare bedroom it would have to be vented to the outside of the house otherwise the humidity will build up and could cause black mould to form.

Hiya ! Thanks for a heads up with the gardening .... a wild life garden sounds lovely, we do have lots of hedgehogs around here thanks Emma . And regarding a drier , we have a dehumidifier instead , a lot lot smaller than a drier and sooo much cheaper to run . I have it in the spare room , with two airers like yours . The clothes dry like they’ve been line dried ..... win win for me as I don’t iron either . Worth looking into ,, not as expensive as a drier I think we paid £120 and got it from a place called screw fix . Oh Emma do you have a name for that lovely shop you took us into ? Another super video thanks so much . Sending love 💐🌷

I found it interesting that you said a dryer makes the clothes wrinkly and in need of being ironed. I was wondering if you had to iron things that had been air dried! I guess it depends on the material, but I take clothes out of the dryer and give them a good shake and fold or hang them up and never have a problem with wrinkles. I also hang some of my clothes to dry, such as leggings and anything with spandex or Lycra in it. However, there are some materials that I won’t buy because I know they will need ironing.

Hi Emma. We have a full size condenser dryer in an upstairs bedroom. (It used to be in the shed!) It’s not pretty but does the job. Close the door and open the window while it’s on. If you don’t overload the dryer, things shouldn’t get too creased. .

I know I had voted previously that you clean your bedroom next. If your husband is available to help you sort and to fix his drawer, that would be good. Otherwise, it sounds like your shed needs a good clean out so you are able to garden and later paint your house more efficiently.
When I was still teaching I had my students correct their mistakes and I rechecked them. So the format your daughter has is interesting.
