I'm happy they didn't go the route of making all of the Angels the "Bad Guys". Instead the exterminations were kept a secret from most of them. Also really proud of Angel and his progress!
I agree to extent I rather sera’s not know why Adam does it cuz she kind of ruins honesty lute actually seems to know the reason then seras also angel standing up for himself isnt earned

@@justinbowers2749My theory is that God is mostly kept out of the gate about the exterminations but also was the one to kick Lucifer out of heaven as an example because of how Sera reacted to Emily’s lil song with Charlie.
I also loved the plot twist of the image out of context, in trailers looking like She will be a psychopath showing angels like this, but it turns out that she is simply making bad decisions and not really being “bad”
I mean most of the residents If Heaven would have a real bad reaction if they know their loved ones should end up in hell were being slaughtered behind their backs
My theory is that Adam got into Heaven because of one of two reasons: Either Heaven let him in, regardless of how he actually behaved during life, because Eve went to Hell (she did bite the apple after all) and Heaven didn't want the new realm to claim both souls, or because he spent the rest of his life acting nice - the key word being 'acting'.
He was literally the first human in heaven he basically got in for nothing and even if he was truly worthy when he got there he’s clearly regressed and negatively changed his behavior
I’m assuming he didn’t cuz looking at what we got for dickmaster as a character he’s sexist (which makes him cooler automatically) and he wouldn’t do what female told him unless he sees the logic or is forced to.
I mean Heaven was pretty much brand new when he passed. Even if he was good when he got in the standards for getting in were bare as a desert on a hot day and they added new requirements as the millennium went on. I don't think "Thou shall not steal" was a thing when Adam was alive.
I think he got in because; He did the virtue of contributing to making humanity exist (ignore evolution), despite his bad character. And supposedly humans are good.@@crcoghill
In the Bible both Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit but Eve ate first and then Adam so maybe that’s why he got into heaven since he didn’t do it first
I am just now realizing that Vaggie is Charlie's literal "Guardian Angel". She's the muscle at the hotel and in episode 2 says that she's supposed to protect Charlie.
Now the question is whether she's a Winner or a Heaven-born angel. The show doesn't make a distinction but is she following a natural nature to protect or is she doing this of free will?

I’m surprised no one is talking about Vaggie’s spear being an actual angelic weapon. Meaning the thing is capable of killing Charlie and is one of the deadliest killing tools in all creation xD
Also makes sense charlie would feel atracted to an angel, she's half angel herself
And her being an angel means that she probably was a good person on Earth. (Or the others just pitied her for maybe getting sa’d and then killed)
Ngl the idea of Adam basically being sentenced with Lute to basically become the forced residents of the hotel, having to keep their hands clean and follow Charlies orders for a chance of returning to heaven sounds hilarious....they probably won't go this route but I like it.
here a funny idea to add onto that adam sinner form is his human form becouse when he was cast out of the garden where probably the worst years of his life

I want it to happen so hard, but most of all I don’t want them to die or be dropped off into shadow realm forever. They are my favorite antagonists in the show. I want them in 2 season.

I have a feeling Lute is in the process of becoming a fallen angel. Her halo seems to have lost its glow in a few frames, and there are blood splatters on her uniform that don't seem to go away. Lute also seems to be a lot more resentful of demons than Adam, or at least is more open about her hate. If her own hate for demons, as well as her ripping off Vaggie's wings, corrupted her and put her on the path of falling, then I have a feeling she may be cast out from heaven in future seasons, setting her up for either a redemption or a deeper descent into becoming worse than the sinners she killed.
I'm hoping for the latter. More Jack Horners please
Adam I can definitely see getting worse. If he's kicked out he'll have lost everything and been told "god hates you, you're a piece of shit". To someone who loves himself that's infuriating, and people like that double down when confronted on their sins. Lute could get better while Adam gets worse, or vice versa.
Though if Lute shouts "you're making a mistake" I can see Charlie saying "I thought angels didn't make mistakes".

I think an idea is Adam gets redemption while Lute does not. Because if the theorized deep reasons for his attitude are true (a grudge against Lucifer and Lilith corrupting Eve and screwing him and his descendants over), Adam does have some sympathy points.
And Lute not getting redeemed and dying could be a big wake up call to him. He filled this angel’s head with so much prejudice and hatred against sinners when really I highly doubt a sinner ever did anything to her. She just hates them because that’s what she was taught. Her death would force Adam to realize he corrupted so many other people, and he probably can’t fix it.
Yea I think Lute is just constantly riling him up and justifying his actions. She might be the truly evil one because she killed Vaggie with no mercy probably to rise in ranks to be Adam's right hand woman.
I mean they didnt "corrupt" Eve in this world just gave her and all those after creative knowledge which Adam and the old stuffy angels did not like.
@@randallrobertson6042 That act did corrupt Eve however, even if the theory some people have which is Eve is Roo the root of all evil isn't true, she still is the being the took the bite of the apple of good and evil and brought hell and evil into existence. Adam nor the angels have any control over divine judgment and who goes to hell or heaven, this system is something which was brought to be by Eve Lucifer and Lilith, on accident.
Honestly I think those deep reasons more likely apply to Lute, and Adam is just pissy because Lillith rejected his entitled ass.
Honestly I hope Adam get's redeemed in the end. Imagine him being kicked to hell and now forming part of the main cast being forced to swallow his pride and become like the demons that he sworn to kill and putting him in the defendants seat. I think it would be great character development. And him having to change and having to actually earn his spot in heaven would be a great way to show off the redemption aspect of the show.
It would be very interesting if Adam and Lute got cast out of Heaven or otherwise trapped in Hell for a time, watching them realize they're not that different from sinners would be a huge culture shock for them. It would lead to a lot of interesting stuff thematically and it could lead to some cool character moments for Vaggie.
They kicked out the 3 Cherubs in Helluva Boss for something that wasn’t even their fault, I’ll be shocked if Adam and Lute don’t do something worthy of being kicked out 😒😒😒

@@LadyLeomon Main difference is that Cherubs look to be lower in Heaven's hierarchy compared to Adam and Lute, and therefore easier to replace.
It took less for CHERUB to get kicked out ostensibly so this will be interesting. A sort of Inspector Javert-esque moment of realizing your principles were wrong.
I think Sera knows more then she is letting on about what it takes to get into heaven. She replied in her musical number that "it takes more then what is written"
I'd like to point out one thing, when Vaggie spares that small demon and in general scenes were she is still an angel her Halo is black with a white glow, while Lute's halo at that time doesnt have that glow. Now Lute's Halo glows with that white outline, unlike other exterminators, perhaps Vaggie was one of the minor commanders at that time, or even Second in command at that time though this might he stretch i think its not far from truth, you can really see this when Lute rips her wings out, and right after that when she leaves the scene with Adam her halo starts glowing. Or its just a mistake in production

That's an interesting take but Lute probably couldn't have overpowered Vaggie if she was Adam's lieutenant
Well like i said i doubt she was THE right hand exterminator, Perhaps a lower rank, yet still prominent enough and higher ranking than Lute, also keeping in Mind rank doesnt always equal power, someone can have a high ranking position yet be much weaker than lets say their assistance of sort, tho like i said before it all might Also be a production mistake.
Though after rewatching the episode twice i doubt its a production mistake, or im overanalyzing this lol

I think they meant demons that were unjustly sent to hell despite living a relatively decent and somewhat sinless life.
I do like they make the angels as complex as the demons, kinda like the cosmic orders of things were probably originally set as only "good vs evil" but evolved to become more grey as time went on.

A creature that interacts with the universe cannot be perfect - at least, not for very long. To act is to have the capacity to change, and the angels have had a *long* time to act.
I really hope god is a nice complex character too, just making him villain would defeat the purpose of him being the creator of all these beings in existance, I mean imagine how guilty Lucifer feels for giving humanity the knowledge of good and evil, free will now means something when people choose good but then its a dead end for those who sinned even if they would have had their whole life and afterlife to repent
Wrong a creature that is outside the universe yet interacts is by definition outside the predetermined concepts of said universe. So long as the key entity deems is it so. Simply put your perfection parameters are not the parameters of other creatures higher than you.
If they kill Adam and Lute, they're basically going against the whole premise of the show. At the very least they have to give them a chance at redemption.

I could honestly see lute dying. But Adam dying would be too big of a deal. However, it seems to me like they're building up to charlie vs adam with how they're the true opposites of the show, how she starts to transform any time he decides to mess with her, and how he said he's going after he hotel first, so I want her to at least send him running when she uses the full extent of her powers

The thing that disturbs me most is that Adam enjoys what he does. It's like a sport or game to him and something that doesn't immediately cross people's minds is that all the human souls he's ended are his children and he enjoys hunting them.
honestly if many of the exterminators are like adam and lute, then it feels like the religious people who revel in the suffering of those they deem unholy. Rather than have compassion in the teachings of jesus, they revel in the unworthy getting "what they deserve".

A counterpoint would be to remember that not just the sinners are his children, all of humanity are his children. Keep in mind that the sinners were by and far awful people in life, to themselves and others. His hatred of sinners could make sense in terms of it being one child of his having abused some of his other children in some form, be that murder, torture, enslavement, SA, emotional abuse, and etc.
Aside from that, the sinners being killed in hell, given their true death, are in a way finally released from hell. Following that logic killing them could be viewed as a mercy.
As for his attitude towards doing it, seeing it as a sport, or game, people have a habit of turning anything into a game by default when they get bored. Trying to make it somewhat interesting for themselves. And considering how long he's been doing it, it might not be that surprising that he now views it as a game almost.
In the end, we need to remember he has been doing this for an ungodly long amount of time, and I don't know if this has always been his attitude towards doing it, or if this is something that formed over countless years. It ultimately doesn't mean he isn't in the wrong now, but there could be a lot more to it.
Why is Lute such a baddie tho? Makes me wanna know what Adam(Dickmaster) looks under his helmet, feel like this is a "Oh no their all hot" kinda world.

alllll the exorcists are his children too. They are literally his daugthers, bred to fight for heaven so neither proper angel nor Winner need dirty their hands like lord of the ring orcs. But he is so fucked up and has had so man yof them he feels no familial connection to them at all.
it explain their otherwise major loyalty to him. they are his father, even though he doesn't even comprehend them as his children. there was shines of a abusive father between him and vaggie.
He's been this way for thousands of years, I don't think he could have a whole redemption arc in the time the show takes place. I would love him to spiral into an existential crisis by being deemed unholy though.

Frankly, I find it more likely Adam winds up in hell, gets soooo much worse, and ends up joining the overlords in some fashion, probably looking to kill Lucifer, Lilith, become ruler of hell, and make sure that hell stays miserable for sinners for all eternity. After all, if you want sinners to suffer the most, you hire the guy who hates them the most. This would also make him a longterm villain and not one and done.
Lute will likely fall imo, wether she gets a redemption arc is up in the air - might redeem herself in the hotel, or continue to be a lieutenant of Adam. I root for redemption, cause that would require forgiveness from Vaggie.

My theory is that Adam got into heaven because the hypothetical "system" was either underdeveloped or not properly in place. So, the finale could result in a scenario where there is an inquiry into more ancient souls that has him reevaluated and deemed unholy.
Adam was there in heaven because
A. He is the first man
And B. In TTL, Adam didn’t touch the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and didn’t eat the apples coming from it
I get the feeling the series is gonna end with the creation of Purgatory, Dante style where you have to deal with your mistakes BEFORE you get to go to heaven, idk how going to he'll works with all that but I'm no theologist.
It still doesnt make sense due to legal issues with the show explained by Vivziepop in the Hunnicast q and a. I studied theology, film, philosophy and others. The universe is so screwed to the point. Im thinking about writing it. They knew about Vox.
In theology, Hell is for those so depraved that they deserve eternal punishment. Purgatory is for those who, although not perfect, were not so depraved or evil that they went to Hell. If you end up in Purgatory, you will eventually go to Heaven, the time in Purgatory differs on the individual. Heaven is for the perfect or those who have been perfected in Purgatory. Idk how any of this works in the Hazbin Hotel universe and, with the angels not knowing what gets you into Heaven but that you "just show up," makes me wonder if they will bring up the topic of God in later seasons. Someone HAS to be judging souls in some way.

What I kinda hope is that SOMEHOW Vaggie or someone else cut off Adam and Lute's wings which would let them be trapped in hell like how Vaggie is.
I expect Vaggie to kill or best Lute eventually but Adam... I think he's reserved for Charlie, maybe in his attempts to kill her its revealed she is an Angel and of higher rank too, or Lucifer smites him etc

Events of the fight cause lute to have a mental breakdown. And Vaggie forgives her, even though lute freaks out and demand her t ofinish her, devolving into her expelling guilt at hurting vaggie and stuff.

Charlie is canonically half-angel
Lucifer is just considered a Fallen Angel and not a Demon, and Viv stated in an old livestream that he and Charlie have angel wings
I kind of like the idea of them becoming fallen and the rest of the series involves them either trying to get back into Heaven's good graces, or trying to get revenge on Charlie. Possibly even allying with the Vees to accomplish it.
I think we need to adress that Lucifer said
"They (The sinners) were gifted free will!" Which means that before that, humans likely did only operate in black and white. In which they either beleived, They themselves beleived they were good or evil. Adam by believing he's good (from livingn in heaven) mightve got into heaven, and Angel Dust who believes hes Garbage and doesnt desrve redemption (due to trauma) is trapped in hell?
So it could be where humans *believe* they belong is where they go. Just a theory
I want Adam to stick around for a while. We have yet to see his opinion on Lucifer or even Lilith. Is he over it? Does he have a grudge?

It’s obvious he’s not over it. There’s a difference between being a victim and staying victim. Obviously they fucked him over, Adam was literally player one of the human race. The first man to experience life and failure. He just never got over it. Could be tricked to eating the fruit, could be Lucifer stealing his woman, could be corrupted because of it, the list probably goes on but he definitely is getting his redemption arc.

@@adamH.1 I come from character and experience almost just like Adam. He’s more than a troll, he’s definitely a hurt and broken character who’s still in touch with his inner child. He may get his own redemption arc. The extermination thing is obviously his way of getting back at both of Charlie’s parents. And we haven’t even met Eve yet. Adam is royally pissed off over something to have this much hatred for hell. He needs a good edge and humbleness. I’m pretty sure he’s gonna meet his match.

Option three seems to be the most likely since Adam and Lute have been given permission to do the exterminations by their superior, so it wouldn't exactly make sense for Sera to just turn on them. I think the exterminations will end, those two get sent back to Heaven and might have some stuff happen with their plotlines in season 2. And I could see Emily going down to Hell at the end as like an ambassador to maintain peace between the two afterlives.

Also if it's possible for a soul in hell to redeem itself, can one in heaven do the opposite?

the flashback implied that her eye color was the same. there has been no physical change to her in hell despite being hre long enough to grow out her hair THAT long.
If he did eat the apple then it makes sense he is how he is. He edisted free of sin, innocent like a baby, then suddenly got hit by all sinly desires all at once when he bit the apple. Also all his desdendents being damned to death.

You know, something that I think a lot of people are overlooking is that Adam and Lucifer knew each other back in the garden of Eden. So at the very least, in his eyes, his wife left him for someone who was a friendly acquaintance. Or at the worst, someone he considered a friend/brother. That's a pretty big betrayal.
Really hope they chat. Adam might even reveal that his motives are entirely spite
Honestly, Sera reminds me an awful lot of the director from "Nimona". She allows injustice to occur under the guise of protecting the status quo (and also to keep her power), but acts like she has no choice.
I LOVE The Director!! She was such a good villain and handled really well. Hopefully Sera will be handled with the same grace
I know she isn't the focus of this video, but I absolutely love Emily and I hope she does become a true main character either as another member at the hotel or as a contact in Heaven, or she could be a sort of ambassador of Heaven residing at the hotel to oversee the redemption happening. Also, I doubt it'll happen but if she is the one to deal with Adam and/or Lute then that would be crazy and I'm so here for it.
Emily kinda seems to already being build as a main character. TBH i kinda want to see more about ST Peter

Maybe he's actually an obvious sinner who would have been the first man to DIE AND GO TO HELL, but heaven couldn't have that. So they plucked him out of there, and stuck him in a permanent LED mask.

I feel like sera might change her opinion on the exterminations if she found out the the sinners have figured out a way to kill angels since that seems to prove that hell is getting stronger because of the exterminations and she might call off the extermination. I could see in that scenario that adam and lute might go down anyway because now they have a personal grudge against charlie for ruining their fun. this would lead to adam disobeying orders and potentially getting punished
Love the idea that adam only got into heavan as by the time he got there there werent any preset standards
I think it would be cool if Adam and Lute were cast down to Hell, but Adam joins the Hotel on his own since episode 6 did show he was nervous about the fact that he doesn’t know why he was allowed into Heaven, so he may want to try to redeem himself so he can be allowed into Heaven again
I get the feeling the ones that will intervene are the archangels, even if Lucifer fell he is still their family and the threat Adam made is a threat against their own Niece who has done nothing by try her best for her people.
From that threat. I hope he does attack and I hope we see how powerful Lucifer is.
@@Darksaviouror Charlie for that matter. A lot of the time, her demon form is played off as a joke but whenever it comes out it’s always a little bit disquieting. I think even the people of hell understand that Charlie is naturally more powerful, regardless of her rank. The fact that Val doesn’t bad mouth her to her face and he had to use angel as a shield says he may not feel comfortable fighting her. One could argue that’s cause Lucifer would kill him if he bad mouthed Charlie, but Val should know that’s not how Charlie operates, so why would he bother restraining himself? On the other hand, he does not seem surprised that Charlie would be willing to physically confront him for abusing Angel in front of her, and he seemed genuinely worried about her presence at the shoot because that’s where he abuses Angel. It was only AFTER he was sure Angel would shield him that he felt comfortable being openly abusive. This tells me Val sees Charlie as a physical threat he can’t handle directly. And if an overlord with no morals is afraid of confronting Charlie in a physical altercation DESPITE her obvious disposition against violence, then it means there is more than Charlie’s status that keeps the demons in line around her

With Adam and lute these two are probably going to get back at Charlie and find a way to destroy the hotel
And with that I see Adam being a despicable and unredeemed villain but lute I see her possibly being a redeemed because she might fall in a similar situation that vaggie got herself into with Charlie
I think it might actually be the opposite.
Adam's crass and sadistic, but unlike Lute he actually does have an explanation for why he's such an asshat: he lost everything because of what Lilith and Lucifer did. He was meant to rule over an eternal paradise, his new wife and children were meant to be immortal and live in absolute bliss...and that all got destroyed because of Lucifer and Lilith meddling in Heaven's plan. Is it any wonder he hates sinners, considering they're constant reminders of everything that was taken from him?
Lute on the other hand just seems to be cruel for its own sake. As far as we know, she has no real motivation to massacre sinners beyond "they're sinners, so they deserve it."
@@fabr1cat0rgeneral94 I think the way Lute talks is a pretty strong indicator she's just chugging the kool-aid and has been heavily indoctrinated by Heaven. She's just very good at doing what she's told and not questioning it for reasons that could definitely be fleshed out.
Whatever happens to them, I just kind of hope they stick together because they honestly make a pretty entertaining duo who I could easily see at least caring about each other, even if they suck as people and generally have no redeeming qualities.
Definitely do think Adam has more potential for a theoretical story arc where he gets kicked out of Heaven though and has to rely on the mercy of the people he's persecuted, but are also pretty much all his descendants, which I doubt he's ever thought about.

Honestly I kinda hope for a possible redemption journey cause Killing them off would be such a waste and kinda an easy way out, especially in a show about REDEMPTION!
They’re still potentially entertaining duo and Lute would have potential to be an interesting character arc about realizing she’s no different than the sinners she’s killed.
They don’t have to be likable as people but could have the growth for interesting characters.
Edit: Actually their characters could grow into being more likable with their continued story in Season 2.

My theory's that Adam got into heaven through redemption and he's determined to kill as many sinners as he can because he's afraid that if heaven ever fully realizes that sinners can redeem themselves and ascend, that winners can fall if they fuck around too much in heaven.
I think something happened to Adam in hell that makes him so abjectly terrified of the thought of ever going back there that he would rather destroy literally every sinner's chances to better themselves than ever accept the risk he could have to go back to hell because he did something wrong.
All I know is that we ain't going to be ready for Adam's face reveal.
I think between they foreshadowing angels can die to demons and building the tension between Adam and the hotel.I think at very least Adam will go on a full battle with Charlie. And possibly afterward someone will kill him.

Alr my theory for s2 is that adams falls and becomes a fallen angel/demon for his crimes and goes to the hotel to “rehabilitate “ himself so he can go home
He doesnt believe he deserves it and so is fucking around being an ass all the time, making it harder for the team to do their job with other sinners, but slowly he breaks to his core beliefs and realizes he isnt perfect, and if he isnt gods perfect creation then what is he?

I like the idea that Heaven isn't just corrupt, but utterly incompetent as they have no idea what cause some to go to Heaven or Hell just handing out judgments based on the assumption that they get their reward so can do what ever they want. This would give better reason for the whole "angles can be killed" plot line as heaven no longer has the same power over hell. But don't worry heaven I'm sure the Sinner will treat you as compassionately as your treated them.

I bet it's gonna be a case Heaven and Hell agree to the rehabilitation programme Charlie's made, and Adam/Lute are gonna get kicked out of Heaven; right before a horde of sinner could kill them or beat them up, Charlie offers them a way back to Heaven, via the very thing they hated. It is her being a bit naughty and devious but she tries to be genuine. And we essentially see Adam suffering by learning how to be a decent person, like attempting to say thank you, share food and not act like a dick. Where as Lute's still very aggressive.

My theory of how season 1 will end is that...
1. Hell will be proven to be capable of redemption, but Charlie will get another year to bring heaven redeemed souls. If she can't, then the exterminations will continue, and the hotel will shut down permanently.
2. It will be revealed that Alistor is debted to Lilith and that Lilith wants to sabatoge the hotel in season 2, as if sinners get redeemed, she loses her audience and her power. Also, she wouldn't want to bend the knee to heavens ways.
(Although Alistor being in debt to Satan would be cooler and would fit the same bill as Satan is the complete opposite of Lucifer, in which he wants to spread chaos and most likely hates heaven as well, but Lilith makes more sense and I see Satan as a Helluva Boss character than a Hazbin Hotel one.)
3. Alistor will leak the info of who killed the exterminator angel, causing a possible war between overlords in season 2.
the question remains was the big G aware his angels were doing this viv did stated the God character or the grand architect is part of the show but not yet revealed and if he knew what was happening oh boy he will be pissed and seeing lucifer i imagine him being a dotting grandfather 😅

Here's what I think will wind up happening: Adam's getting set up to be killed by the end of the next extermination; he's portrayed as crass, unlikeable, and unsympathetic to the viewers and the exterminations won't stop until he's dead considering it was his idea in the first place.
BUT...and here's the twist...his death will still be a tragic moment in the series because of how it happens. Charlie will likely be the one to do the deed; the siege of the hotel is a perfect time for her to snap and go full-on demon mode to protect her friends, but Adam's death will be so brutal that it terrifies Heaven into continuing their war on Hell because they're just so damn scared of Charlie and the sinners, with Lute taking over as the new leader of the Exorcists and being (pardon the pun) hellbent on getting revenge for Adam's death.
Maybe that could lead to higher ranking angels like Michael being part of the extermination

I want to see Adam become a more three-dimensional villain, like maybe he has some reason for being a misanthrope (one of his sons killed the other to start with). I feel that Lucifer is going to force an armistice and reduce the exterminations back to yearly by pointing out the wording of whatever back-handed deal he made with Heaven
Adam saying that makes me think "I hope Adam doesn't plan on killing/attacking Charlie." Because that is not going to go over well Lucifer might intervene. So, Adam has free range to do almost anything he wants? then again, if he did get cast down to hell pretty sure he's just going to get killed over and over for all the things he did.
Well it was Lucifer and Lilith who destroyed Adam's future so maybe he'd attempt to kill Charlie to take revenge on Lucifer and say something like: 'Now you'll know how it feels to loose something'. I can even imagine Alastor riling Adam up just to get under Lucifer's skin even more although we still don't knoww if he truly cares about Charlie.
Lucifer apparently made a deal with Heaven for the exorcists to only go after Sinners & leave the demons/overlords alone (so people like Charlie/Lucifer/Alastor/etc shouldn't be targeted).
Curious if that could lead to Adam being tossed out of Heaven if he attacks one of these "protected" people.

i wouldn't really be surprised if Lute is killed, even if Adam is spared. it would suck sure, Adam and Lute are great fun characters, Adam in particular is just that type of villain that i can't help but love even though he's a horrible person because he's just such a character. but if a villain has a subordinate sidekick right hand man, a lot of the time they end up dead. while it would make for an interesting plot for Adam and Lute to be stranded in Hell and forced to reside at the hotel, likely eventually being redeemed, it also wouldn't shock me if they choose to kill off Lute because she's just the subordinate to the big bad, and therefore expendable like slightly more important cannon fodder, probably leading to either sending Adam over the edge into a rage and causing a big fight scene, or giving him a wake up call at seeing her death and giving him a spook and a knock down from his egotistical pedestal. or hell, maybe it'd just be a one-two, where she gets killed first and then he gets killed sometime after. who knows.
One idea I like is that Adam’s behavior could be a result of the apple he bit into at the end of the story of creation. It’s said that it was that apple which gave humanity the knowledge of evil and all that stuff. It could definitely be possible that Adam used to be naive, innocent, and good, much like Charlie or Emily but was tainted once he bit into the apple. Sure, there was the statement that Adam wanted control and that could be taken negatively but considering that statement comes from Lilith, a character who keeps seeming more antagonistic the more she’s referenced, I would have some doubts about that. Maybe it was actually Lilith who wanted control or that their falling out was as a result of something Lilith wanted to change but Adam refused. That would definitely be inline with her controlling Alastor, if that really the one who has him on a leash. I could also see Eve being part of Adam’s redemption, if he gets one, since, if Hazbin really is following the story of creation, then the only reason he bit into the apple was out of his love for Eve. Yes, he is shown as sleeping with multiple woman, but we don’t really where Eve is or the extent of Adam’s knowledge of what happened to her. It’s also possible that Adam’s idea of black & white stems from his sons. Abel, the white, and Caine, the black, one was clearly good and the other was clearly bad considering that Caine was the first murderer.

I'd like to see the idea that Lute is truly bad and Adam was simply instigated by her. As VSMarkis explains Adam was supposed to be the king of humanity and after Lucifer took that away from him he understandably despised the hell's folk especially the idea that sinners could just repent and go to heaven.
Out of all the angels in the show, Adam is definitely the most unlikeable especially when he is going to expose to Charlie that Vaggie used to be an angel. He's hoping that Charlie will break up with Vaggie if she found out about it. I just hope Season 1 ends on a good note.😑🥺

1) It would be too easy way out and kinda waste of cool designs and two characters
2) Adam at least has an explanation for why he is the way he is, and the Guy has got a LOT of potential backstory on him so he's too important to bite it First Season.
And Lute was most likely indoctrinated about her views of Heaven and Hell from the angels at a young age. Plus you know how fandom would feel about killing off potential cute girl material.

In my honest opinion I don't think nothing bad is going to happen to Adam and Lute as a matter of fact they going to convince the other residents in heaven to go to war with the sinners of hell because there the issues of the dead angel that was discovered near the end of episode 1 don't you think it's weird that Adam didn't bring it up. I think the next two episodes something bad is going to happen to one of the characters and Charlie is going to go full demon
I like the idea that there was a god, and that the angels and those above were abandoned by them. So they try to enact what their rules and all that nonsense was. Depending on what they thought god wanted than what the people needed.

I definitely feel like either Lute or Adam will kick the bucket. And that their death (if they even die at all) will be a wake up call for the one that survives. That or one of them gets better while the other gets worse (it would be interesting to see Adam be redeemed while Lute gets worse)
It would be poetic justice if Adam fell from grace and had to redeem himself via the Hazbin Hotel. Also it would setup a good plot line for Season 2 considering Adam was pretty well received as a character by the audience.

On the note of Lucifer and Adam potentially have a fight, have you noticed in "Dad beat dad" there's a picture of what I believe to be a younger Lucifer and Adam in Lucifer's room suggesting the pair were rather close long ago potentially being best friends. So now I'm dying to actually see some lore and confrontation on them later on in the show

to me episode 6 confirms that angelic weaponry can kill angels because lute took vaggie's eyes and wings and nearly killing her but on the contrary if you don't need angelic magic or weapons to kill a angel you might just need to catch them off guard or just be stronger
Alternatively if souls can move up they can also be thrown down. Maybe they get cast down.
Death would kinda fly in the face of the whole redemption/second chance thing hazbin has going on. Personally I'd like for lute and Adam to fall and act as primary and secondary antagonists in season two. About halfway through lute sees the light and joins the hotel to try and redeem herself, which sends adam spiraling as he loses his number two setting up season three. Basically season 3 would be adam lashing out at heaven and hell with ...... something ( an artifact, an ability he gains, an army he forms or creates etc), from there i have nothing 😅
I would see Adam teaming up with the Four Horsemen or an eldritch being.
