Alastor hating on Lucifer is hilarious especially considering the fact he can’t do anything to threaten or intimidate him unless Charlie is involved but even then he is smart enough to know to beat around the bush to not get himself in a situation that he will likely not make it out like we kinda undermine how powerful Lucifer is due to our favoritism towards Alastor Lucifer seemingly possesses almost any ability that we can think of and due to his shapeshifting abilities much like Sun Wukong any abilities or strength that he lacks he can mimic via shapeshifting
When you think about it, the only reason Alastor is as powerful as he is is because he's intimidating. Sure he's killed Sinners and Overlords but when you factor in other major characters like Stolas, Asmodeus, or Beelzebub, he instantly becomes outclassed.
@@SpagettiSpeltWrong and the only reason why he's still alive is that Charlie has considered him a genuine friend by now and even showed despair when she assumed he got killed off by Adam so Lucifer will not ruin that for her. but there's going to be hell to pay for Alastor for sure once he inevitably double crosses Charlie and reminds the fans that he is a villain.
And also the fact that he ALWAYS tries to show off his power while the real strongest beings acting “weak” also shows his obsession of being the one in control. Hes trying to act like he’s the strongest being even tho he knows its not true
Obviously he can't beat Lucifer but I think people are underestimating how powerful alastor is he literally almost beat Adam

Lute did beat Vaggie the second time. She just got overconfident in the last moment. Not to mention, she later overpowered her with ONE ARM.
She probably could’ve kept that arm too, like if Adam of someone pulled the rumble off her, if she didn’t rip it off herself.
Lute thinks she is so tough. Let's see how tough she is when she is dealing with real woman warrior like amazoness Wonder Woman, She-Hulk, Sonya Blade, Scarlet Witch,Ashi and Lady Shiva.

Lute also ripped Vaggie's wings off with her bare hands so the angelic immunity thing probably only applies when the damage isn't done by another angel or angelic weapons
I think that because Vaggie sliced off the debris that crushed her arm also could mean that if an angel uses an angelic tool to use an object like debris to attack an angel it can damage them. Does that make sense or did I write it too confusingly?

Then she started pulling, screams in agony as her arm sprays blood
The rubble didn't hurt her until Lute started pulling, so it probably counts as self inflicted

Angelic steel can permanently kill angles, but it's not the only thing that can harm them
I belive it's true for sinners, not angels. If angels were prone to get hurt from other sources, the demons of Hell would've probably used it against them way earlier.
That logic falls apart though when the show has made it clear numerous times that the angels are indestructible and they fight reckless because up until it was found that angelic weapons could hurt them, no weapon in hell could do any damage. So it’s most likely just a bad writing decision for ep 8💀

Decent ranking overall, but I have some quarrels.
1. I would put lute over Vaggie, Vaggie won by using rubble, not by her own strength. During their actual fight, Lute outclassed Vaggie in almost every way. And then pinned her down with one arm.
2. I would swap Valentino and Carmilla. Carmilla has just shown more and narratively, it makes more sense for Carmilla to be stronger.
3. I would swap Alastor and Charlie. I think Alastor being tasked with Adam is due to Charlie downplaying herself and lacking confidence in her strength as opposed to Alastor being stronger. I don't think Alastor would praise her strength so much in 'Ready For This' if she was weaker than him. And Charlie has better durability feats than Alastor (not getting one shot by Adam, although Adam seemed to have used a stronger attack against Alastor than Charlie)
4. Ik he wasn't mentioned, but I feel like Zestial should be #5. People would rather set themselves in fire than look at him. That alone puts him that high.
5. Ik she wasn't mentioned either, but niffty should be above Vaggie and Lute to me. Her speed is currently unparalleled by anyone else we've seen currently except maybe Adam and Lucifer, and she also hurt Valentino while being playful. I think that puts her above Vaggie and Lute.
To be fair, confidence lowers power anyway so I agree with the video placement of Charlie and Alastor.
I do agree with you on zestial based on how horrifying he looks but I wouldnt rank him since we haven't saw his abilities and power yet but maybe in season 2 I guess. Also, with the other current and past overlords, It would be nice if we knew their backstory and capabilities that they harness.

I think Alastor was put in charge of taking care of Adam because he is more ruthless than her plus he was keeping to the sides for the fight while Charlie was down in the thick of it so if she was the one fighting Adam she would have had to leave the others to fight without her.
Yeah, this is a pretty fair ranking. I think that Alastor had a fair chance at winning against Adam but like Carmilla said, you gotta fight ‘out for love’, and use angelic weapons, which he did neither. He fought selfishly and didn’t reinforce his staff with angelic steel, so he lost. Viv liked tweets that hinted that this was why he lost but I wish they would have made it clearer in the show. Like gurl, not everyone is on twitter (I refuse to call it X lol)
I'm one of those hoping and predicting Adam comes back and that this ties back into him. I can definitely see a Beauty and the Beast situation with Adam as an arrogant beast that learns to love again, ironically from those he hates. It might be the key to letting him go home (and be why Pen ascended. He fought for love of his friends.)

Carmilla Carmine definitely deserves her place in this video. She is smart, speedy, strong, and cares for her daughters and her friend Zestial more than anything.
Good ranking overall. I can obviously see how ranking Alastor above Charlie is going to be seen as controversial to some people, but it's worth noting that strength alone isn't enough to dictate the course of battle, because it doesn't mean anything if you don't have the skill to back it up. Alastor has the advantage in that regard due to the fact that Overlords occupy a niche in hell where they have to be ready to take on the next person who want's to knock them down a peg or two. Coupled with his already respectable strength and he was logically the best person at the time to take on Adam.
Speaking of which, while one-shoting the forcefield was an absolutely insane feat on Adam's part, I wouldn't say it was effortlessly destroyed, considering Adam cleared his throat and was coughing afterwards.
Yeah I'd call Al and Charlie's placements accurate. She definitely doesn't have as much skill as Alastor does when fighting, not to mention her poor control of her powers. Adam fist fought her while she had an actual weapon and still won.

(also she show stronger power in ep8 that she was able to block adam holy punch while al shield couldnt stand it.) What i mean that charlie cant lose bc charlie can kill alastor while alastor cant kill charlie. So al can have better skills but he cant finish charlie, so she can fight back until she kills al.
When it's stated that "the only way to hurt an angel/demon is by using angelic weaponry" it means that's the only way the damage dealt is permanent; as you know. Lutes arm will grow back, it's just not as painful for her like it is for demons regeneration is because she is an angel
Maybe we could’ve had Lute try to tear her arm off and it not work causing her to have to reach for her spear and cuts her arm off

I came here to see Lucifer at number one. It’s so nice when your favourite character is so clearly on top in terms of the main cast. You don’t even have to worry about debating. Like, ain’t no body gonna come after me for saying Luci is the strongest (that we know of rn, apart from Serz maybe but again we have no clue). I can just sit back and giggle while everyone sings the praises of how powerful he is

I feel like charlie is above alistor just for the reason that adam used a punch which alistor could not block but charlie could, but then again I think that was a last second upgrade so I dont know
I thought that Charlie was more powerful than Alastor as he is a mortal soul. But, she had him deal with Adam since he had more combat experience. No doubt Lucifer and Lilith taught Charlie how to fight. But, how much has she actually needed to fight. Seeing as Adam seemed to throw Charlie around a bit. But, then again: Charlie can take more damage than Alastor can
Considering how she did, I don't think Lilith or Lucifer really taught her how to fight, not the kind of fight with weapons and powers anyway. She only managed to stab Adam once in the armpit. He beat her using only his fists while she had a trident.
I mean he was busy monologuing. Also, Adam and The Exorcists go down every year, they've been doing this for presumably millennia. Charlie and her parents are exempt from extermination. It's not like Charlie would have been out on the streets as a child during an extermination period. Again, it goes to experience. Charlie certainly has the potential to be more powerful than Adam. Considering that Lucifer is a Seraphim. Whether or not Charlie will unlock her full abilities ONLY when she ascends to the throne, we'll just have to wait and see. @@Logamer-tn6db

There are so many characters in Hazbin Hotel who are the strongest plus I think I remember he made a video similar to this, but from the Pilot which I think this is a big update to it. Plus I think the whole Morningstar Family including Lucifer and Charlie and of course Alastor are pretty powerful characters in Hazbin Hotel. Same thing with Adam, Lute, Emily, and Sera. Even though Adam did die, he's still pretty powerful.🤩😅

I think Charlie is stronger than Alastor due to her making Adam bleed. Which is some thing Alastor wasn’t even close to doing. I think the reason he was in charge of taking care of Adam was because he is more of a fighter.

I think the only reason Alastor lost is because he didn't know the limits of his power, literally because he've never lost to anyone before and he didn't know how powerful Adam was, breaking shield is one thing, but breaking Alastor is completely different, so i think it's unfair that everyone is putting him below Charlie, below Nifty, below Vaggie, below Carmilla, below Lute, below Vox, below Zestiel. To be honest I was afraid that you'd not even include him on this list....
Alastor is literally just an overlord, he lost bc he's weaker and you guys should cope with it.
Alastor was always going against character that are massively weaker than him but when he goes against someone stronger than him in a real fight he's nothing but a fodder and can be defeated with one angelic attack

He didn’t fight ‘out for love’, (whatever the fuck that means) and he didn’t use angelic steel. The show doesn’t do a good job of explaining this to us and because of the rushed pacing this went over a lot of people’s heads, such as yourself. Unfortunately not everyone is intelligent enough to read between the lines 🤷🏽♀️

Vox could potentially be the single fastest character in the Hazbin hotel/helluva boss universe. Lightning is incredibly fast so Vox being able to travel AS a bolt of lightning is a seriously powerful speed feat.
1: Lucifer, self explanatory
2: Sera, she's one of the oldest (and most powerful) individuals in Heaven. With that spot definitely comes power, she is also the same type of angel as we believe Lucifer to be so it's fair to assume they're around the same in strength.
3: Adam, one of the strongest angels we've seen, we see his strength in the finale.
4: Carmilla, given she leads the overlords and is ahead of Alastor in that regard (along with shipping all the angelic steel in Hell) I think it's fair to assume she's one of the strongest.
5: Zestial, he's the oldest Overlord and appears to be a close friend of Carmilla's. We also see sinners being so afraid of him they light themselves on fire.
6: Alastor, we see his raw battle strength against Adam and against the sharks. He's definitely one of the strongest individuals however I think that his power mostly comes from being intellectually superior, not from direct combat.
7: Charlie, we see her lose against Adam however I believe this is because of a lack of training not a deficit in raw power. With proper training, I'd argue she should be #3.
8: Lute, we see her strength throughout the series.
9: Valentino, I think Val has to have some power to be able to be confident enough to even attempt to attack the hotel like he was going to. In terms of raw power, I think Val is the strongest of the vees whereas Velvette and Vox are stronger intellectually.
10: Vaggie, although she DID beat Lute that was more from being acquainted with the battlefield and less from being more strong. I think if the two were in a place neither of them knew, Lute would win.
For me, the third Is Alastor
I'd argue that alastor and zestial are probably around the same level or at least used to be since we don't know what happened in the 7 years absence of alastor. He could euther have become stronger than him or weaker if his confidence was a facade at the time. Then for carmilla, i am almosf certain that she is under zestial, since he seemed extremely surprised when she said she will protect him. I believe her leading the overlord his more because of her planifications skills and leadership than raw power. After all i dont think alastor zestial or even rosie would be interest in the role.

Alright one question... where is Zestial? He's the oldest overlord in hell, people literally offed themselves just because they saw him, the only people we saw that kinda took him lightly were Alastor, who was still greatly respecting him, and Velvette, who just did it to get info out of Carmilla, and also she's pretty young and might not realise just how powerful Zestial is. Also, he survived Alastors genocide on the overlords when he first arrived in hell, meaning Al either was too scared to confront him, or he wasn't able to kill him. He might even be stronger than Charlie, just because he is so experienced. I don't think he is stronger than Alastor, but i think he would really hold his own, similar to how Alastor held his own against Adam.
The same reason he didn’t put sera. They just don’t have any feats even though sera would be at number to for being a seraphim like Lucifer.

I myself would reverse Charlie and Alastor's positions due to how well they did against Adam. As for why Charlie would leave Adam to Alastor, it seems to be a matter of confidence, which seems to be Charlie's weak point. No one respects Charlie's potential except Alastor, and that includes Charlie herself.

In my school vr game, during a boss fight against her as the Knife Speakerman (who is a master of close quarters combat with his knives and is a feared person, which by the way Feared are people with massive Achievements behind them) it took him and Goalius (who recently had a 2v 1 against both Adam and Lucifer due to the fact that Goalius was considered to be a dangerous demon due to Goalius being nearly 50000 years old) to back off

Alastor isn’t more powerful than Charlie 💀it’s just Charlie is holding a lot back I also think she still needs to actually learn more about herself to release her full power. I’m “pretty sure” it was confirmed by vivzie before Charlie is more powerful it’s just she doesn’t use it. Alastor is just more “loud” about his power. It’s the epitome of don’t mistake her kindness for weakness

Adam didnt use his power aganist alastor. Once he used alastor immediately lost, and alastor couldnt really damage him. At least Charlie could to a little damage to him and Block Adams reallyyy powerful punch that even lucifer didnt notice(i know that he could Block it but im saying that he didnt notice it). Yeah i know that Charlie doesnt have experience but she still could damage Adam more that alastor.
Because she used an Angelic steel weapon. Alastor didn't. He still landed several hits, which absolutely would have caused injury if Angelic steel was used.
And Adam was very much not taking Charlie seriously before she stabbed him, after which he quickly overpowered her in melee, not even needing to use his full power like he did with Alastor (Who effortlessly dodged his melee attacks)
Adam is more powerful than both, but Alastor definitely had the more impressive fight against him. Charlie's just too inexperienced.

1: lucifer Morningstar (literally no competition)
2: sera (adam was intimidated and respected her)
3: adam (first man leader of the angels beat alastor charlie and fought lucifer destroyed the hotel and so on)
4: charlie (im gonna get hated for this but she possibly has engelic power due to lucifer and is a low state in power compared to her full potential and alastors pretty much maxed out)
4: zestial (debatable no question about it)
5: rosie (was confirmed to stronger than alastor in a Livestream)
6: alastor (no need to explain)
7: vox (no need to explain)
8: Camilla carmine (extremely powerful)
9: lute (i think she's still stronger than vaggie by a bit)
10: husker (past overlord and very powerful)
I wouldn’t take everything Viv says to heart cause she has a bad habit of retconning her own lore. I would only go by what’s displayed in cannon on the show.
Emily should be up there in the top 10 probably, she's a Seraphim, just like Sera so she should have atleast somewhat relative power to Sera's on face value, however as she's not much up of a fighter, and is so *mostly* Benevolent, I'd say somewhere between top 5-7

2:28 My take is that the "harm" and other word usage is just shorthand or misspeaking.
What it _actually_ means is that, just like Sinners, Angels can only be _permanently killed_ or gravely injured, by Angelic power/weapons. The Sinners couldn't fight them because they, alongside possibly being more durable (as in, deeper injuries like shots and slashes won't penetrate too deep without a LOT more force), they will just regenerate.
Now, if Lute _doesn't_ grow her arm back then my take goes up in flames and I will be very upset if the show writers don't actually address things properly after that point on this topic, but that's for the future.
My own headcanon on why no one could conceive of defeating the Angels is a mix of fear and possibly failure. They might have _tried_ centuries ago...and got totally slaughtered because the Angels still had superior advantages, and none of them _stayed_ dead, so the Sinners just gave up and no one dared to try again out of fear of a greater reprisal. There's more to it, but that's the basics.
I personally scale ALL Angels as loosely superior to demons. Specifically, regular Exorcists are notably faster and stronger than Sinners, while Adam has _definitely_ been shown to be more powerful than most Overlords. Something like that, enough to have an edge, but not totally stomp them in _all_ cases. Like, we've seen that most regular Exorcists can be taken out by a good enough number or uniquely powerful Sinners, but in a one on one with typical Sinners, my money would always be on the Exorcist. Any one Exorcist, even at their weakest, is better than any 3 to 8 average Sinners. While Adam is essentially a whole fourth stronger than Overlords.

Little thing the angelic weapons things based on the cannon side show (Helluva Boss) sinners/angels/royals can be injured and “killed” by other means by they will be revived and the only way to truly kill them forever

I think a lot of people overestimate Alastor, he's fun and I like the evil guy but he's afraid of Zestual, and took Carmella insult about not really caring about where he's been or why, just brushed him off. And Zestual and Carmella have to be close in power as they have a close relationship where she does say she wants to protect him.
As for Charlie, she didn't take lead because she doesn't want to hurt anyone, she used a shield and apologies to everyone and Alastor wanted to take on Adam because he loves killing powerful men. You see her real strength when she got mad about Adam's sucker punch and she stops him one handed, her angelic heart keeps her demonic strength in check
The exterminators only being able to be harmed through angelic steel thing is probably only accounting for their armour

Charlie would be in 1st just because she can deflect an angelic punch which not even Alastor can take without falling. Alastor lost his powers while being attacked by Adam for a split second and Charlie took him down without a sweat.

To Hell, angelic weaponry is the only KNOWN way to kill them. At a guess, Angelic power in general also works, to the point where Lute can even injure herself if need be. And Charlie had to prevent Lulu from killing Adam. But speaking of which, the lightbringer was awesome while fighting Adam, and apparently he could only get involved when his daughter was endangered. Even when showing mercy he was still verbally and funnily ruthless. Love it a lot!
Surprised Zestial Morde wasn't on this list. He's confirmed to be the oldest overlord in Hell, meaning he's survived Both Countless exterminations AND Alastor's massacre. Not to mention purely going off his position on the Table, directly next to Carmilla, which, assuming your Hypothesis as to why Carmilla is at the head of the Table is Correct, sows He's also extremely powerful. In fact, Alastor himself seems at least somewhat intimidated by Zestial when her first appeared.

2nd strongest is charlie its canon stated by the show and by vivze. In the show alastor says "like her daddy she is realy powerful" vivze also said that charlie can only be killed by a higher angel and cant die to angelic steal, which means she is higher rank than adam who was able to die by angelic steal. totally agree with most of it, BUT.... I doubt that Charlie will be as strong as Alistor BUT... there could be a fight later down the line with Alistor fighting the rest of the main cast if they get in his way. another thing is that in future could you make another updated list? thanks :)

Angelic weapons can kill angelic and demonic souls, however the souls can still get injured even without an angelic weapon. So lute being able to rip out her arm still makes sense, her will eventually grow back like all sinners if they weren’t attacked by an angelic weapon(usually).
I just think Alastor has secret power that he can't get the power yet
I disagree with Charlie’s placement she is half demon half seraphim the reason why she came across so lackluster in the final battle was due to her sheltered upbringing never needing to fight and also viv stated Charlie cannot be killed by anyone in hell physically she said something along the lines of she’d need to be smited by an Angel with a higher ranking than Lucifer 😅

I’m gonna be completely honest Adam is kinda like Alastor as an angel he also non-stops smiling and yeah
I believe when the say angels can't be harmed without angelic weapons, they mean permanent damage. Vaggie's eye has that permanent X over her eye because of an angelic sword. I'll try to explain here what I mean. If it isn't from an angel weapon, it will regenerate. We get that piece of info about Hell's sinners in the second Episode "Radio Killed the Video Star". At 3 minutes and 15 seconds in Velvette is mad about Valentino throwing his fit, we see in the background of the call pieces of a sinner. Later at 5 min and 4 sec she explains that Valentino tore up her best model and that the show can't wait for her to pull herself together. With the parallels we've seen so far with Sinners and Winners, even though they were very little, I wonder if we can apply regeneration to Winners and the Exorcists too, meaning Lute. It's a stretch, but a thought. If Hell is eternal damnation where where a sinner is there forever unless killed by special means, then Heaven is eternal paradise where the same rules apply. But it's Heaven, so the thought of any of that doesn't even exist in the Winner's mind, therefore, they wouldn't actually know.
That's my thought.

However, I do agree that the strength of the angels is a bit overrated and also I’m pretty sure you don’t need an angelic weapon to defeat the angels although it would be very difficult and of course you can permanenty kill them
It’s sort of like how in Dragon Ball despite how hyped god ki was initially, many non god ki characters, from Frieza to Jiren, have been able to swap hands and even defeat god ki users like Goku and Vegeta
