- Helluva Boss season 2 is finally back from it's over 6 month hiatus. Returning with the much anticipated Full Moon episode. Despite the hype this episode garnered on social media leading up to the release, I personally felt like the episode fell short in one big area. So that's what we're talking about in this video!

What annoys me is that Blitz is right to think so low off Stolaz. It doesnt matter if he "started having feelings", Stolaz used Blitz.
And it pisses me off how everyone will make Blitz as the one in the wrong
I hope they don’t
Yeah. I get Stolas is a fan favorite and in some ways is a very sweet character, but he did use Blitz. Honestly their whole relationship dynamic reminds me of Voldemort’s parents, where Voldemort’s mother got the hots for his father so she used a love potion to bewitch him, then she wanted to know if his feelings were genuine so she let the love potion lapse and he returned to his senses and walked out on her (as he should). In this case Stolas was using coercion to keep Blitz coming back instead of a love potion, and Blitz seems to genuinely care about Stolas even if it doesn’t go much beyond wanting to bang him.
Not everyone. The majority of people seem to see that both were in the wrong in some ways. I think Blitz was valid in a lot of what he said too, even if he didn’t say it in the best way
It might be right, but that don't owe you a relationship. I'm not going to be standing there being talked to like that.
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THANK HELL
I really wished the cherubs and dhorks were in another episode.
If this was a purely Stolitz episode, we could’ve seen Stolas getting ready for the meeting with Blitzø. Like practicing his speech in a mirror, staring at the crystal while reminiscing, and trying to think of any good times they had that wasn’t tied to a deal of sorts.
It could’ve highly contrasted Blitzø’s more goofy adventure.
Same!
Well, from what I seem to gather, we might actually get another Episode with the Dhorks at least,
Since a particular Scene seems to have not been in this Episode.
IKR plus H.e.r.u.b.s got beaten really quickly - I mean WHY were they put here in first place????
SAME. I was anticipating this to just be stolitz, as it SHOULD be. The cherubs and humans just disrespect the whole plot- this is suppose to be a BIG turning point for Blitz and Stolas as characters.
I literally only cared about the ending conflict and seeing Fizz again. Most of this episode doesn't even matter to me because it's got so much useless, unneeded drama that should've been saved and used on the characters that ACTUALLY matter.
YES
The rage of Blitzø and the sadness of Stolas... Brandon and Bryce did an amazing work here. The last 8 minutes of this episode were a masterpiece. The absolute culmination of they entire relationship. Brutal. Man, Stolas being Self Depricating, and Blitzø being Self Destructive sure is something.
That final scene might be Brandon Rogers best voice acting performance
@@LucaMationsI know.😁

Is amazing this show can make one good scene and have a few good moments, but having terrible writing tying in together
WHY ARE U EVERYWHERE
I think the true breaking point for Stolas was Blitzø's "The Reason You Suck" speech near the end. He can handle Blitzø not having feelings for him outside of sexual ones, but all that stuff he said in the end made it sound like Blitzø hated his guts. I can't imagine how much it hurts to realize that the person you love hates you.
Well they’re two different types of people. Stolas is a privileged royal, while Blitz grew up in poverty and worked for a circus. It’s easy to see how imps in such a situation would despise royalty
I mean Whole Stolas's life was already crumbling:
- public condemnation of Goetia after adultery with lower class
- Going through divorce with his awful wife
- Almost got assassinated
- Never got visited by Blitzø
- Probably his daughter isn't living with him since Western Energy (separated by his relatives-in-law)
- And Cherry on the Top - the person whom he sincerely has loved all that time Straight to his Face - I mean Back - Yelled that he Hates his guts. I mean Stolas's heart was already broken that's why he tried to leave in first place but those words Shattered it completely 😭
I love Blitzø as a complex character but in my life I would avoid This kind of person because I don't need that emotional roller coaster.
@@ashlynwolff He also ran out of happy drugs
@@externalbehavior my head canon is that he stopped to take them after that meeting with Blitzø but after Ozzie's he resumed the medicaments take. That's the reason he suddenly ran off the happy pills
Stolas' fault that Blitz thought this way. He's the one who made the damn deal on episode 1, first of all. Very casually. And while Blitz was in the middle of running from an armed madwoman. He didn't give Blitz a chance to think in the beginning, and now he doesn't give him a chance to think in the end.
Stolas was super into the deal, kept talking to Blitz like a cute pet throughout season 1, literally called him a "play thing," and then didn't even defend himself in S1E7 when Blitz' outright said "I'm not f-ing you, don't act like you want anything else from me." All Stolas said was "Okay, goodnight." He LET Blitz think fun sex what the relationship was all about.
And he acknowledged that he put Blitz in a difficult position. So is it really Stolas' place to get offended when Blitz gets confused, then KICK HIM OUT and act like the victim when Blitz calls him out and holds him responsible?
Sorry but Stolas' manner in this episode resembled that of a Discord drama queen blocking people mid-argument and then making their icon black for attention as a defense mechanism against consequences.
That final scene was honestly SO painful because it showed their biggest problems.
Stolas while genuine in his feelings, unintentionally controls the conversation and automatically assumes what Blitzø is thinking while not actually ASKING what he wants, and Blitzø doing everything that he can to completely ignore any real conversation about their issues to avoid getting hurt, and completely lashing out when he can't.
This results in Stolas thinking that his first friend and love only saw him as a privileged prince despite all his efforts to show him that he always saw them as equals, and Blitzø once again adding another person to the list of people who he genuinely loves but pushed away because he was too afraid to show it, right as he was finally allowing himself to be vulnerable.
You know they're eventually going to make up, but it's definitely going to take them both jumping through A LOT of hurdles before their relationship can even remotely become a healthy one.
And it was amazing
They need to stay apart

I really don’t see a problem with the B plot at all, this way we all got some action scenes and some funny moments in between the heavier stuff. I don’t need to cry for a full episode 😢
I have a minor grip with this episode and it's that that Cletus claims they're exorcists, but nobody in heaven should know they exist except for the seraphim
Wait no u right
They likely didn't know about exorcists and used that as a way to get along with the agents. Why would you torture/eliminate people who came to exterminate demons from hell. Either way I wouldn't take it too seriously but it's still pretty weird.
Exorcists weren't only used for exterminations. They are the military of Hell.

Yeah, it has the best ENDING of the season, but best EPISODE is between Exes and Oohs and Mammon.
3 or 4 is way too low bro,it’s police paradise level and helluva boss is way better than this shit
I assume people prefers drama than bloody violence that others enjoy. I also assume Viv had hard time stretching act three scene into full episode 🤔
This episode fell flat. I would of rather had an episode where Blitz maybe speaking with Fizz about his feelings for Stolas and if they needed some comedy it could of been watching him drive himself crazy over it. The cherubs could of been saved for another episode. The hype for the duet wasn't woth it. While funny it just didn't have a memorable impact. Overall this episode is like a 6 out of 10 for me. Hopefully they will rebound with the next episode as season 2 so far has definitely dealing with growing pains with trying to figure out what it wants to be.
Great opening, great ending, one REALLY good, but REALLY dark, joke in the middle (I think you know what I'm referring to), but I'd still only go as far as a 7. A kind of repetitive A-plot beats Unhappy Campers' actively irritating A-plot.
@@Volvagia1927 The Best part was hearing the voice actress who plays Loona return since she had been dealing with a tragic death.

@@AbimaelLopez-hz3qq I don't think they need serious villians, I would like them to go back a little to what the show was originally with them doing jobs. While I do enjoy the drama parts it feels like it has become a different product then what it started out as. It would be nice if season 2 wrapped up the drama stories and season 3 focuses on the business.
WE GET 9 DAMN MINUTES OF THE PLOT WHICH IS ONLY IN THE START AND END LIKE WHAT!?!?
I noticed that at the beginning of the episode there are pictures with Blitz's face scratched out with a black marker. Probably hammering home that Blitz thinks he is not worthy of being loved.
And in the mansion, Stolas has blocked out any images of himself and his ex (but not Octavia) with curtains. Definitely interesting parallels.
Those first appeared in "Ozzie's".
I noticed a few plot holes in the episode:
How doesn’t Blitzø know what an Asmodean Crystal us when both his ex girlfriend and sister have one, and he literally used one to find his sister
How do the cherubs know who the exorcists are when it’s established in Hazbin that they were kept a secret in Heaven? Unless Helluva takes place after Hazbin which is possible
I think Blitz knew what it was he was just in shock at the fact that Stolas gave him one
As you said in could be later in the timeline or they were some of the angels that knew
The second depends on when Helluva boss takes place in the timeline since it could be after the events of episode 6 of Hazbin Hotel
@@bdariamihaela Blitzø says “A what?” and Stolas explains it to him, implying he didn’t know what it was
@@bumblebeeproductions1673 I understood that only the angels who were in the courtroom found out about the Exterminations being a thing. I'm asumming the common Heaven residents still don't know about them. (Dunno if Adam's death might change that though.)
How did the Cherubs know about Loona? She was not there in that episodio.
Honestly, it's my favorite episode this season
Honestly I expected this. I knew the episode will probably not hold up and I had a feeling that it won't be a fully Stolitz focused. Outside of the pacing, the fact that the IMP gang came out of nowhere and the very limited screen time of the dhorks I really don't have problems with this episode
The problem with this episode was that the cherubs ruined it for me honestly, kinda wish they came back in episode two or three at least. The fight between Stolas and blitz was heartbreaking but also shows how much of a hypocrite Stolas can be along with Blitz, since he wanted it to be sexually and etc and blitz went along with it. Now hear me out before I get killed in the comments, if you go back to ep 1 season 1 even in the pilot episod, when Stolas was making very very sexual and kinky of what he wanted to do with blitz which lead their relationship to just dealing with each other on the full moon once a month for the book. So in conclusion basically Stolas and Blitz were never together at all it was a work/ sexual thing that they both agreed on.
I liked this episode but it jammed way too much into one episode and I think the Cherubs should’ve been saved for later on. I think Brendon Rogers needs to start writing the show with Vivziepop again because I think he was the reason season one was so solid.
He does
Honestly I agree. Cause I’m not starting not to feel confident having Vivize being the head writer or they need to get a story editor cause that woman can’t do execution right
@@no_0riginality937I think you mean Adam neylan and vivziepop wrote episode 7 season 1
Jamming too much in one episode is honestly something Viv does a lot
Agreed. I can't stand Vivzie's writing anymore.
1st off the va's [all of them] were amazing, you could feel every emotion from both the main two blitz and stolas as well as the b plot cherubs and milly moxxie and loona
you can hear the manic-ness in their voice acting and even moxxie sounded a bit different during my favorite bit the "welcome to hell" line
2nd yes these two parts should have been separate but im kinda glad they aren't as by the looks of it we will see them again later on when blitz is more used to his crystal.
3rd yes this episode has some issues [mainly like others have said before pacing] its still a 9/10 even with the pacing issues and a cannot wait for blitz to be confronted with his own worst inner demons [lol the puns].
all in all i'd give this a 9/10 at best and at worst a 8.5/10
its still a top tier episode and i can see myself watching it again.
So Viziepop did a retcon it seems.
Apparently Demons and Angels DON'T change appearance depending on if they are in Heaven or Hell.
This wasn’t a retcon. Because it wasn’t discussed. The cherubs didn’t have their halos/wings/angel parts forcefully ripped off. They were just left on earth.
Lucifer and Vaggie didn't change their appearances much and they were also fallen. Lucifer just got an outfit change, Vaggie's physical changes came from mutilation and growing her hair long.
Change in appearance seems to come with death, not with being fallen.

Yes this a reoccurring thing. She's very creative, but she needs someone who can help focus and drive the plot.
She won't, she had her chance with Hazbin and with this, it's not going to change.
@@artistanthony1007 and this is why I will always diss this show and call a gay fanfic
The cherubs have had more screen time then Loona🎭💀🤠
By far one of the most emotional and gut-wrenching episodes and literally I feel very bad for Stolas after Blitzø angrily criticized him and then bids him goodbye.
On the other hand, It was good to see the Agents from DHORKS and the Cherubs return and team up to go against IMP. Also enjoyed Moxxie & Millie and Loona’s fight against the Cherubs.
The two different plots of Full Moon are pretty interesting like with the Agents and the Cherubs plotting their revenge against I.M.P. especially Blitz and when Stolas is going to give Blitz the Asmodeon Crystal for his business. I love the episode, I really do. But I often heard the pacing is a bit off even though I barely noticed it because I was so busy focusing on the episode to know what happens next. Also that ending is just as sad as the ending at Ozzie's except Blitz and Stolas officially broke up, this wouldn't have happened if Blitz hadn't yelled at Stolas like that. But I still love the episode despite that and it was worth the wait. Also can we mention that scene with Blitz and Fizzarolli is the most wholesome scene ever?🙂😬😨😊
I’ve said this a couple times now this episode was pure set up for later episodes
doesnt make it any less bad lol
Honestly I felt robbed. This episode was clearly built up as being a Stoltiz episode but it only comprised like 8 minutes of the 23 minute episode. Like I was so frustrated that they spent over half the episode focusing on the CHERUBS who are like some of the most annoying characters in the show.
Stolitz getting _less_ focus than advertised? Now I've seen everything.
@@Corrector1 The episode was hyped up as a Stoltiz episode when it barely was part of the episode.

@@PurpleSphere95 Yeah, I was thinking about that too.
I’ll be clear, I don’t hate the episode. I liked the beginning and the end was pretty good. The dhorks were hilarious and I laughed about every time they were on screen. I just felt like the cherubs took up too much time
I agree that it would be better if it would be separated in 2 different episodes, but I really enjoyed this episode! My favourite so far
This episode was definitely overhyped. I didn't care for the Stolitz bullshit. The cherubs getting their ass handed to them by I.M.P. again along with the agents coming back were the only things I enjoyed in this episode. Why were fans making stupid ass movements online along with crying about the episode not being released throughout the month until yesterday? I'm sorry but Full Moon was disappointing and was not highly anticipated in my opinion. I'm optimistic about Apology Tour now because I feel like that episode will have more Stolitz BS just for fans to flock over. Smh. Season 2 continues to be held back by it's messy writing and pacing. Smh
I hope they aren't gonna pull a HBO harley quinn and drag the relationship drama on for a majority of the show going forward
@@Axel_Kasai Knowing Vivzie, it probably will. This show just turned into a stupid ass soap opera. It feels like ages ago when we saw Imps killing humans for business.

@@Corrector1 I know. Again, it's been a while.
I think colin’s gonna be the only one that’s gonna get back into Heaven.
I loved the episode and it came out when I was on the bus to go home from school, I literally almost cried on the bus because of Stolas' reaction to Blitz. The sheer pain in Stolas' voice and eyes just makes him seem so physically hurt by Blitz's words. Sorry for being corny, but it goes to show that words can hurt more than the blade I guess. Quite literally, Stolas seemed more hurt by Blitz than Striker ever did to him, even when he was about to kill him. I have a friend who likes Stolas more than I do, and tomorrow I'm going to ask him if he liked the episode.
This episode is in one word is frustrating
I swear to god if in the next episode Apologly Tour ends with Stolas and Blitzo getting back together like nothing happened, i will make it my mission to burn this ship to the ground
I'd prefer that to the ship taking up the full latter half of season 2
I definitely 100% agree with everything you said in the video!
The Cherub and Dhork stuff was so annoying for me personally, I actually just skipped all the scenes of them in when I watched the episode a second time 😬
"seeing these 3 in this episode completely took me off guard"
Am I the only one who actually looks at the thumbnails?
So the dorks and the Cherubs meeting is fine but separate both plots unless the Cherubs actually interfere with Blitz. So look have Blitz go on the same shopping trip but also have Stolas reminisce on the time he spent with Blitz, maybe talk to Ozzie asking what he should do if this doesn't work out. Us seeing the results of the divorce and how it effects Stolas and what he's sacrificed for this affair. Showing us how much Blitz means to Stolas and maybe have Moxxie ask the gang what if Blitz doesn't give Stolas what he wants and Stolas just decided to cut all connections to I.M.P and take back the book in a way foreshadowing what's to come then all of it culminating into the break up. It's good that we got to see the Cherubs and Dorks team up but they contributed nothing to the episode. We got a cool fight from a stronger I.M.P who could more easily take down the Cherubs
Personally, I like both the plots of the episode. The Cherub plot has the trademark humor and comedy while the Stolitz has the gutwrenching moments that they are so good at making us cry so much. To me, I think they used the Cherub plot to help ease into the painful ending.
Fair point, but i feel like they could’ve used something else for that.
I half disagree.
I do like both plots of the episode and felt that it was a good combination of the two primary aspects that make Helluva Boss great. However I don't think the Cherub plot was meant to ease us into the painful payoff so much as make that payoff hit so much harder when it came around.
Honestly the only thing i liked about the episode was that they actually had the balls to basically break up the stolitz ship. They definitely weren't healthy for eachother, and I'm genuinely surprised that stolas was the one who realized how bad their relationship is first, it does take a lot to actually admit that a relationship you have is toxic especially when you're the one who started to make it toxic, i actually gained a bit of respect for stolas seeing how he could actually admit what he was doing in the relationship was wrong.
But yeah, i really think the cherub plotline Should have been put in another episode and replaced with maybe stolas talking with someone about what he planned to tell blitz, maybe telling asmodeus or hell even stella or octavia. I don't mind the scenes with the cherubs especially since it was actually kinda funny seeing them assume the weird sex stuff were torture devices, but they should have had it in another episode.
Stolas went from my favorite character to my least favorite
Why? He did nothing wrong
@@Axel_KasaiYes he did. He trauma dumped on someone he’d been exploiting and to Blitzo’s knowledge only wants him sexually. We the audience know he loves Blitzo but he didn’t know. You can’t blame him for reacting that way when Stolas didn’t even give him time to collect his thoughts. He even directly says if he could just get time to think about it.
The problem with this episode was that the Stolitz drama that we were watching this episode for got shoved aside as the B plot when it should have been the A plot. Meanwhile, the return of the Cherubs would have worked better if it were its own episode and not taking over what should have been a Stolitz episode.
Tbh, the episode made the Stolitz part feel like the B plot with how much the focus was on the Cherub
I'm glad you feel the same about the Cherubs plot feeling like it belongs in another episode. I told my friends that and they are saying they liked the fight at the end, which somehow means it's justified for be in this episode. I'm not saying that the plot didn't need to exist, I'm saying it needed its own episode. It didn't belong here.
The dorks and loona actually speaking and doing something since shooting stars saved this episode
The cherubs still suck and pretty much now.... the show is gonna be nothing but dedicated to the stolas and blitzo melodrama
Episode 7 season 2 and episode 6 season 2 and episode 5 season 2 wasn’t about stolas
People told me the full moon episode should be about stolas and blitz . The cherubs took the spotlight
my aroace ass is so scared of that Fizz's "funzies toy thing yk"
Hm, I see, gotta say, I were a little surprised as well to see that the Full Moon Episode apparently also ended up being the C.H.E.R.U.B x D.H.O.R.K.S. collaboration Episode too, but to a degree though, I could understand why, because i have honestly always wondered how they would’ve managed to make Full Moon into a full Episode and this makes me wonder about that even more now, i can’t see what else they could’ve filled this Episode up with,
I guess they could’ve just focused a little more entirely on Blitzø’s preparations, but for how long would you be able to keep that up? I guess, it could have worked out with cutting to the rest of I.M.P once in awhile, but cutting to what exactly kind of becomes the Question at that point,
Regardless, I can kind of understand how this might’ve been a struggle to figure out, especially with this, since this Episode does make it pretty apparent that they didn’t really know how to fill up the Episode either.
On that note, I can also understand where you’re coming from, ‘cause while I might’ve not been able to see how the Stolitz Drama could’ve been it’s own Episode, I mostly certainly could see how C.H.E.R.U.B x D.H.O.R.K.S. could’ve been it’s own Episode and yeah, I can see how this Episode could’ve been handled much better,
Since it seems pretty apparent that the whole C.H.E.R.U.B x D.H.O.R.K.S. Plot were just added in to fill up the Episode, which does kind of give-off a little of a worrying impression for just what the Helluva Crew’s View on C.H.E.R.U.B and D.H.O.R.K.S. (or just the Cherubs at least) might be,
Well, it does seem like the Cherubs wasn’t killed off in this Episode, so we could still get to see them again and hopefully they get to be utilized a little more respectfully and not just used as a device to fill up an Episode,
Speaking of which, in the Trailer there was a Scene showing Blitzø seemingly mocking D.H.O.R.K.S. using a portal apparently made by a Crystal and based on from what I can gather from this, it does seem like that Scene didn’t happen in this Episode, so if there’s any silver lining, i guess we could end up seeing at least D.H.O.R.K.S. again and hopefully we also get to know if the Cherubs are still working with them or if they have gone their separate ways, in case we didn’t get to know about that in this Episode.
Regardless, i just hope this still does well enough and that the Rest of the Season makes up for it.
I think there’s an easy way to solve the Stolas screen time issue in this episode. The should’ve saved their animated ‘Just Look My Way’ for now, have it be a mid-episode number, breaking up the Cherubs action. It also would provide a Stolas scene in the opening, middle and end, therefore giving him sufficient enough screen time.
I feel is Misunderstood. They can skip to Conclusion "Blitzo is Toxic" but is cuz it's the introspective of Him, that he refuse to believe someone can love him.

Honestly, the drama from Stolas and Blitz carried the episode hard. Like, I felt somewhat disconected from the cherubs plot, because it felt really like filler, even though it was the bigger part of the episode. It was nice seeing that they did something with the cherubs and with the fact that the DORKS had footage of Blitz and the rest, but I feel like better than having the cherubs take time from the episode, maybe splitting the episode between Stolas and Blitz's perspectives would've been great, since it would also follow the structure of the song at the start. I don't know what a B plot with Stolas might have been, but I think it felt rushed, and maybe a little bit more time to dwell on why they are acting the way they are acting would've been nice. Like, we know why Blitz and Stolas are a mess, but seeing also Stolas messing up things would've been a way to show how much they need to improve, because even if Blitz avoiding the sittuation has caused a lot of problems (mainly due to his own trauma), Stolas also has a part in it by jumping to conclusions and not letting Blitz even explain himself, because the sittuation is a hard one to deal with, and Blitz has never been good with his feelings, so, having him say the "You have said enough" and basically break up like that was him jumping to the worst conclusion (but it's somewhat understandable, since we know that he was out of antidepresants, so, not on his best state of mind).
This two need to fix their communication skills, because it is obvious that they are made for each other, but as long as they don't talk and open up about their feelings and vulnerabilities, this misunderstandings are going to tear them apart, and their relationship is not going to be healthy until they do (and we know Blitz can do that, he has fixed his relationship with Fizz, even though at the beginning, it seemed impossible, so, he is able to do it.)
I enjoyed the episode, but I definitely think it could have been done differently. This episode was so long awaited and had a bunch of rumors of it being a 40-60 minute episode. I wish that with the little time they gave for the episode, they would have focused on Blitz and Stolas’ a lot more. It would have been great to see how Stolas is preparing for the night, but we only got to see Blitz’s end of things. The CHERUB and Dorks plot line was great to watch, but it felt so out of place in this episode. It would have been great to have this be the central plot of the next episode maybe? Overall though this was a great episode with such a wonderful performance from the VAs and really interesting plot development
this is what happens when an episode gets overhyped, the expectations get set too high and the product could never hope to meet them.
@@Randomyoutuber-4831I think it's a combination of the long time it took for the episode to come out, and the fact that it was preceded by the 2 dramatic and eventful Fizz-centric episodes. A lot of people hoped that Full Moon would be that, but for Stolitz: a long episode mostly dedicated to their relationship without a wacky subplot.
I remember some people were insisting that the teaser gif with the DHORKS agents was from a later episode and not Full Moon, bc they expected Full Moon to be a 100% Stolitz episode
I don’t care what people say, I genuinely believe this feels like a s1 ep. Fight me 😂
man those cherubs seem to have a trend of being the reason episodes can get disappointing. If they ever return this season, hopefully they don't drag it down a third time.
The first episode with them was one of the best of this show
Glad that I'm not the only one who felt both plots in this episode felt a little messy in a way. It should've still been about the Cherubs teaming up with Dhorks and exploring that dynamic rather than worrying about the situation with Stolitz, but that is all this show really cares about.
I also did find it weird when the rest of IMP show up to battle the Cherubs, they literally just show up despite disappearing early on in the episode.
The whole situation with Stolitz, I really didn't care. I'm not worried about Blitzo and Stolas because the show focuses on them way too much, I prefer other characters like Striker, Octavia, the 7 rulers of Hell, the Cherubs, ect I just saw this ending as the same stuff of "Do Stolas and Blitzo really love each other?" and "Oh the relationship between them is so complicated" at this point these 2 are too toxic that I don't believe they are compatible at all
Not to mention the fact Loona talks about kicking the cherubs ass despite not being in that part of the episode. Like girl, you don't know these people.
She saw them on the commercial but that's really it.
@@Jay-gurl Yeah that too. I’m like “How do you know?” I can understand if IMP said stuff to her, but still
@@Shojoboy Yeah. That's honest a MINOR nitpick compared to the other issues in this episode. But it's still a small error that just kinda shows writers lack of care for details.
Like I question the imp gang just *happened* to follow Blitzo on this day when the CHERUBS showed up. Your all following him to make sure he doesn't screw up? That's convenient.
You know, considering you never seemed concerned with this fact before. In fact, Moxxie was telling Blitzo to STOP telling him the details. Yet his now following Blitzo as he does saucy stuff? Riiiiiiiiiight.
Moxxie. The guy who hates how Blitzo stalks him and Millie, is now getting too involved in his bosses personal affairs? Tsk
Yeah. Seeing the cherubs and agents again was the only reason why I cared about this episode. Screw Stolitz. That's why I felt nothing at the ending scene.
@@akilelawless8460 Glad I’m not alone
Im also very hard to dissappoint and the way I look at it this is going to be an amazing episode in hindsight. We've set up a major shift in the Stolitz development and a potential climax to the Dhork/Cherub plotpoint. I find this to be a very pivotal episode in the series. Everything is all crashing together all at once, plot threads are being woven together, the end of this season is going to be insane
The show is no stranger to A&B stories, especially when it includes a conversation or rare drama at some point. But I have a feeling that our main protagonist is going to be playing some more important roles in his five stages of grief in the future of the season.
2:57 YES! WHY WOULD THEY MAKE IT ONE EPISODE COMPLETELY?
I feel like I just wasn't enjoying this episode at all, but I think it's the same issue with Hazbin: the pacing. The pacing is bad(like hazbin hotel). I just feel like it would've been cooler if the cherubs were able to have their own episode which would've made the fight scene much cooler. Instead, we get this random subplot that honestly just wastes time. And if you were going to do this, 23 minutes isn't enough.
Overall, it was bad. But think I hate this episode so much is because this was such a hyped episode that just fell flat on its face. If it were out like a month after the Mammon musical, I wouldn't be so mad
I wonder if this “full moon problem” will affect Hazbin Hotel in anyway
As someone who loves Hazbin Hotel, honestly I think it already has. Season 1 has some episodes that have a similar problem of having another plot overshadow what should've been the main one.
What the hell is so fun about the "first" messaging??? Whats so hype about being first conmenting in a video? I don't see the fun.
I think because if they said first they would probably get sum comments saying "wow congrats for being first"
They would get many likes, newest comments always get the attention 🤷♀️
I liked the episode, but I do see your point
I can't believe they pulled an Amphibia with that hell portal.
Also... Hope the next episode comes out soon, the Cliffhanger is so painful
I think episode 9 is supposed to come out in June, so probably at the very end of this month unless it gets delayed
Vivzie stated she would post exact dates for the rest of season 2 soon, so I'm waiting on that notification. I was hoping it wasn't going to be a while for the next episode, but chances are we are definitely going to have to wait until the end of the month seeing as how this one dropped on the 31st.
Good A plot, bad B plot. Which is somehow a running theme with HH and HB. Or more technically, a more engaging A plot with less time, and a disengaging B plot that pads the run time
THIS EPISODE SUCKED! 7 MONTHS FOR THAT BS! ONLY FOR 2 minutes of actual plot! I hate stolas he such a horrible character and dad he such a hypocrite and has no right to be mad when the arrangement was all his idea he made it s3xualize! He made the relationship all about s3x he always calls blitzo being explicit blitzo never calls up stolas for booty call it’s always stolas
I missed when this show could just do anything without the show itself needing to revolve around a ship. I would've preferred it if it was all about the rest of IMP comedically fighting the cherubs as blitz does his shopping in the background. Then maybe they pass out in the office as blitz gets back and he makes a joke about them being lazy or something 😂
That sounds like it'd be a lot of fun! I miss the days when Helluva was intended to be the lighthearted silly stuff while Hazbin was supposed to tackle the serious stuff, but now Helluva is almost completely revolving around romance drama-
I can see that being funny, but it could make the series boring after a while, I'm sure they would worry about it becoming too repetitive. Drama and romance definitely sells, I'm a fan of that myself.
@@kuroneko9264we know that they could switch up the humor enough to where it wouldn't get boring.
But the stolitz stuff is already feeling repetitive. 😅
@@finleyforevermoredid you dislike episode 7 season 1 ?
@@Axel_Kasaiepisode 7 season 2 and episode 6 season 2 and episode 5 wasn’t about stolas . Episode 4 season 2 was about stolas and the episode came out 1 year ago
I like Collin in this
While true the Cherub plot could have been its own episode I still really enjoyed it. It was far better than the boring B plot of episode 4 and I had a smile through all of it. I feel like the only reason most people did not like it was because they wanted more scenes with Stolas and Blitz which is fine but it does not mean the scenes with the cherubs was bad and even with what little we got between Stolas and Blitz being amazing and being enough to set up the next episode. I feel like the reason people were not able to enjoy the Cherub scenes was because they were constantly wondering when we would get back to Stolas. If you watch the episode while accepting the cherub part it becomes more enjoyable.
It's pretty clear that with this episone they wanted to create a very obious link between the cherubs and the imps if with the suit they wesr and their now more readable personalities
Probably all buildup for future episodes
The beginning and the ending of the episode were amazing, in my opinion, but everything in between just felt off. It's not a bad episode and I like it, but I feel like it could have been done much better.
I'm calling season 3 episode 2 will be an Octavia focused episode
I feel the same way about this episode, the plot with the Cherubs should of at least included Blitz finding out that they were trying to kill him so he can run to Stolas’s place alive while avoiding their attacks as the rest of the IMPS protect him.
Yeah I wish the Cherubs should have been a different episode. Spending time showing Blitz trying to put together an event to get Stolas back when he thinks Stolas is losing interest is a good plot line and really shows that both characters have feelings for each other, but having the Cherubs be the characters indirectly watching this was the wrong call. I think it would have been better for him to be asking the M&Ms for advice and then their advice for how they keep each other interested would turn out to be really sappy and probably exactly what Stolas would want but Blitz would shoot it down in favor of his own terrible plan. I also wish the series focused less on the sex toys. Not trying to be a prude or anything but I just find it boring.
The cherubs I’m honestly shocked are having trouble surviving in the mortal world. Guys go to a church, they’ll fall all over themselves to give you food, water and shelter. And the cherubs just randomly appearing at a church and warning them about incursions by demons into the real world could set up some fun storylines for later real world missions.
After the long wait and hype, I kind of expected the episode to be longer and the Blitzø/Stolas plot to have more screentime. I guess the positives are that Loona got actual dialogue and we got some small interesting lore details. I don't like how some people are putting all the blame for Stolitz imploding on Blitzø, though
Owl only love once in a lifetime
Hi, I dont watch your channel much but I saw this one. Just wanted to give a bit of criticism if it's welcome.
I would say 99% of your audience has just watched this episode, or has seen it several times. You cant surprise us with it's details (like the baby and hooded lady being the cherubs) because we just watched it with you, haha. If certain scenes have meaning to you, or if you're pointing out parts we might have missed (such as Stolas running out of Happy Pills) then a recap might be necessary, but big plot points don't need a run-through.
I liked hearing your thoughts though! And I didn't click away so you must be doing something right
I’ve been saying this should’ve been a 2 parter there’s too much happening which makes things not hit along with the fact it supposed to come off as miscommunication but no they didn’t miscommunicate they said what they felt & understood how they felt along with the fact it put blitz in a bad light when no
I have been noticing that for about a year and a half.

the cherub/dhork part was way too long
I think this was the worst paced HB episodes ever. With all the hype and the extended delay of the episode, they fumbled the bag. Don't know why they felt obligated to have the Cherubs in an episode they didn't belong in.
All of the cherub/DORK content made this episode terrible, it was jumping from scene to scene without much rhymes or reason. I have ADHD, I don't want to watch something that reminds me of my own symptoms jajajajaa. 😅

I think the middle part was good
Nah I disagree these 2 plots shouldn't be in different episodes, for a simple reason and I think I understand Viv's decision to make it that way. The cherubs part 2 woulda been a 'boring' episode in general terms for the audience while Stolitz break up woulda be successful, like we all were thirsty to see that. Viv knows s1e4 is the weakest ep, so as a creator you want balance in your shit, you want every episode to be liked so to put together the best and the worst is kinda an attempt to naively make your audience like the entire thing... But of course that's debatable, and I actually think Brandon had major influence on this, since the 1st cherubs ep was written by him... Imagine Viv trying to please the audience and her co-writters, you get this kind of outcomes, but tbh I'm okay with that, it woulda sucked to wait so long for an episode starring cherubs and dhorks as main plot, like, no thanks xD
The only good thing in the eposode was the ending
Sherubs….
whats funny abt most of blitzo’s noteworthy relationships is how it went like this
a) bought by paimon
b) forced to sleep w stolas every month
c) contractually obligated to work under ozzie cus of the crystal registered under blitzo’s name without his prior knowledge or consent lol
Let’s keep it a buck 50, this episode was good but would have been so much better if it weren’t for them damn Cherubs, sorry but they are just not interesting enough characters especially not enough to be thrown in a blitz x Stolas episode
My though: too much cherubs😑
Personally I felt we should’ve had them separate so there would be more room for substance. It was all too mushed in together where a lot of jokes sorta watered down the important parts and the character building. This honestly hurt the episode for me a lot.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈🌈
Much like hazbin this really just shows how bad of a writer vizie is, cramming too much into one episode and expecting the story to be good, it hurts because if someone told vizie to slow the fuck down both projects would be better.
Ok so it’s not just me thinking this is a bad & unfocused episode
You know no one forces you to watch it? If she is such a bad writter (ignoring the fact that there are 4 more writters in Hazbin and 2 more in Helluva besides her) you should just quit.

Even with its problems I still enjoyed this episode. I agree that the Dorks and Cherubs should have been saved for a different episode. This episode definitely could have been better. And it was the same with Western Energy were the episode was not what I was being hyped for.
This is the worst episode so far. Only the last few minutes are worth rewatching.
This episode is only saved by the beginning song and the last 5 minutes. The DHORK agents are fun too but ther CHERUBS are so annoying and didn’t need to take up over half the episode
Sorry but Seeing Stars is just the worst one for me.

This episode was not perfect but easily a 9/10 or a 8/10,the pacing wasn’t terrible but they should have made 2 episode, the stolitz discussion was long enough because 6 minutes was great for the final and the cherub are now good character, the writing was not bad so people should just stop wanting the show to go as slow has breaking bad because making the story extremely slow don’t alaways mean good or going fast don’t mean bad because they didn’t need more time
In regards to the episode, people just like complaining atp. I REALLY don't see why people are so whiny about the Cherubs being in it. The world doesn't revolve around one ship. Yall should be happy that we're getting more lore on the world.
Why would I care about lore? Thats for the wiki page, I am here for the story
It’s more so that the cherubs are widely regarded as very annoying characters and the episode was hyped up as a Stoltiz centered episode when it only comprised 8 minutes of a 23 minute episode

Motherf'er! You've made it about sxx at the start and Blitz calls that out at end part of Ozzie's! Don't act like he is only about it because he never wanted it, not in episode before events of Season 1 or S1 E1.
Nothing happened tull the last five minutes, wnd then when the actually interesting thing happened IT FUCKING ENDS and now we have to wait even more months for a follow up. I cant wait for when this show ends, so i can rewatched all episodes without having to wait for a stupidly long amount of time. I get its an indie show and its gonna take a long time, but this is ridiculous when the quality of the actual episodes aren't even that good. I DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE CHERUBS, I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FBI AGENTS! They contribute to absolutely nothing to the ending except for a cool fight that no one wanted. Everyone though this was going to be an emotional episode about blitz and stolas but they just had to shove all these other characters innit!!!
after i watched that episode i felt like i wasted my time. If a tv show leaves you feeling like that it has failed, i was excitedly anticipating this episode. But i was thoroughly disappointed. I dont like stolas but most the time the writers make him in a way where you cant notice the glaring flaws of his character but... I dint know man, when he said, "i think so highly of you, i didnt know you felt so low if me." It felt some sort of emotional manipulation.
Im not very excited about this show anymore after so many bad episodes like, Western energy, Unhappy campers, and the full moon.
The only thing that really got me to laugh this episode was moxie's faces not any of the forced asf "sex jokes" laid Lovingly throughout the entire episode. I really thought this was supposed to be a serious episode but everything that happened in it is so weird. Why would loona- Ms. only one friend- know that means hes bored of him? I feel like thats something she shouldn't know about because... Idk just spitballing here, SHES NEVER BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP BEFORE?
man i gotta stop before i go insane. I hate this episode, i rather watch unhappy campers which was my previous most hated episode cause of how ass pulled everything was.
i was so dissapointed when i saw the humans and the cherrubs on the trailer, i hate those guys, i always skip the episodes they are in because its boring and not really intresting, so for them to come back again for somewhat fucking reason??? that really annoyed me, and not only they came back, they came back on the episode that was soppuosed to be intresting about stolas and blitz. vivzie did a terrible job and i hope she would actually remove them from the show.
She won't, you're expecting this from the wrong person.
Hate to be that guy, but the whole "Thought highly of you, think lowly of me,'' line really isn't so special. People think it's some sort of god tier writing when it's meh at best.
It also made me laugh considering he kept on babying and calling Blitzø his little impish plaything
Think highly of you my ass from Blitzø 's perspective
Yea I could see that line coming from a mile away.
