Hi could you please help me my older brother Mike has a mini hay baler and the grass is getting wound around the spools to where he has to actually cut the grass off of the spools. I hope you can help with this.
I looked it up online and I think that I looked up the right baler and it was $15,000 I was just wanting to make sure that I actually looked up the right Baler and got the right price but LOL yes you are right that is not cheap I think a person can get a big round baler for that
steven keller yes they are pricey for what they are. But a new big round baler is 40k. She is into hobby farming so it works good if you dont have big tractors and trucks to move it with.
Heston 1734 about $14k not the greatest but it'll run on a 40hp tractor granted that's about double this size you can also run a John Deere small square in that hp class too. Or throw a pony motor on an NH 5070 but all of that requires a larger tractor.
It will bale leaves however, they need some moisture to prevent from breaking up. We have a 2X2 bale that is the most popular baler in the Pine Straw(pine needle) industry.

You can get old New Holland mini square balers much cheaper, that would run on a tractor that size.
The TRB 910 requires 18 PTO HP and does not need rear remotes.

You can get a used large round baler for that price. But it will require much more HP, rear remotes and probable some work to get it reliable.

It will as long as there is some moisture in the leaves. They bale pine needles with them in the South eastern part of the USA.
