The baler looks like it is doing a good job. The only thing that I would try to fix would be figure out how to put gathering wheels on it.
What you seen in this video is scattered windrows from wind the night before. I have seen this baler take a 3.5 ft windrow like our 4X4 and 4X5 all day long with very little loss. 3ft wide and tall is best for speed. The narrow pick up makes the baler more affordable and is the same width as our old 3x3 IHI models that were discontinued because they are going to be made in China. The narrow pickup is also welcomed in the vineyards and pine straw plantations.
Looks very interesting! Appears to leave a good bit of hay behind. Could probably benefit from some pickup wheels on the chute. I may call you about this one before next summer. Still love my square baler, but getting older and time is more of an issue now. This would allow me to bale it and get it up the next day or two later.
This hay got rained on and was low quality. We did not run the pickup low because it's a new unit also.
I have been running a Yanmar 2x2 baler but I would like a larger baler with net wrap like this one so I could store the bales outside.
yes they can be stored out side. Your baler is built by IHI Agrotech. Yanmar exclusive is the MRB855T where our exclusive is MRB855N net baler.
Looks a very good baler,would the bales be the equivalent of small square bales òr slightly bigger.also would a DB 990 have enough HP to run one.
Your David Brown 990 has 52 HP which is more than enough to power this baler.

What would be roughly the round bale weight if we're talking medium density and for high density as well? And is this baler available in Canada?

It depends on moisture content. but an average is 200lbs on medium density and 300 on Max. We hear some of our customers two years ago was getting 350.lbs and max density

What is the minimum HP tractor that can run this baler?
21 at the PTO. This would be for dry hay. 25 if your going to bale haylage.
