I have the older 3x3 baler. Love it. Not good in dry grass hay even when rubber coating the roller. Other wise it is a great baler. Wish I could afford the new style. All I do is grass hay, and sometimes it's hard to get it baled at the exact time, so I have to fit the dry hay. Great products all around.
Very cool video. I'm interested to know how often it's needed to change/replace the idler sprockets/sprocket with bearing. what is the most common failure mode?

Use spray on bed liner on your roller it's rough enough to feed dry grass
@MikeSmith-uj9tu I did, and it didn't help. Thanks.

Can you use hytran hydraulic fluid in haler ??
If it's the IH hy-tran then yes. or a 10 Wt power steering fluid which is cheaper and at any auto parts store.
