CLUTCH
Bless.
Three amigos,that movie is scary
House of Wax is always on my list. It takes place in the fall.
Also The Descent. They have coats on. Nice and chilly.
yes amazing!
The Original House Of Wax is the best!
I love the original. But the cheesy re make is a guilty pleasure. I'm all for anything with Chad Michael Murray
You watch reaction Halloween Kills trailer 2021
The Descent is a perfect late night horror movie to watch in October!
Giving us “rich business woman on important business” today with this look
lmao I love that for me
Are you ready for the chucky series
She’s giving me crabs 🦀 and not the pubic lice 😘.... or seafood 🙃😜
@@PossessedbyHorror The Scream Rules of surviving horror proved not effective at all.Cindy made it with her boyfriend yes they had sex the boyfriend turned out to be a serial killer and she did not die I'm sure all that rules stuff was just a lot of talk anyways.
Wes Craven I miss him because he like Carpenter was good at telling stories I'd like to see Ray Bradbury movies and books return that man was a great mystery writer his work needs to return because it's just so important.
👍👍 🧟♀️🧟♂️🧛♀️🧛♂️🦹♀️🦹♂️🧙♀️🧙♂️
Omg this comment 😂😂😂😂😂 i love it!!
'My spooky marathon never really ends...'
Girl, same.
Bingo!
Let's watch some spooky stuff together and knock some furniture around lmao 😂🤣😅.
A film I think that doesn’t get enough love is Crimson Peak. I think it’s a great double feature with The Woman in Black with Daniel Radcliffe. Both those houses are like characters unto themselves. They’re the greatest rainy day movies. Or cold and blustery fall weather.
Strongly backing this up! Both are just so good
Crimson Peak and Sleepy Hollow, back to back, it’s perfect
Yesss!!! Crimson Peak is UHMAZING!
I agree with you and would through Winchester into that and make it a haunted house marathon!
Crimson Peak is a solid ghost story, and is definitely rewatchable.
I would have put Ginger Snaps in the first category, since it takes place over the month of October and ends at Halloween time. I'd forgotten how good a Halloween movie it was until I rewatched it last year.
Gingers always snap!
Same! Ginger Snaps is my favourite one on this list for sure …and it’s a good list!
Not a movie or horror, but I rewatch Over the Garden Wall every fall! It has the most perfect cozy fall vibes 🥰🥰
I watch it every year as well! If I'm getting an itch for it in the middle of the year I'll listen to the soundtrack as a little teaser trailer lol.
Omg absolutely. It's a seasonal must.
Over the Garden Wall is just my kind of horror! Beautiful, gloomy, spooky. Bonus points for the soundtrack.
Same! Still hoping for another season, tho it's unlikely
I absolutely love OTGW. It’s the perfect Fall and Halloween vibe. Spooky but not overly scary is just how I like my Halloween movies. Another great one is Coraline.
I love Crimson Peak during the fall. It's beautiful. The leaves falling through the ceiling, all the orange and red; it just makes me think of late October-early December.
I love watching Goosebumps (the tv series) and Are You Afraid of the Dark? in autumn- they just radiate 90s autumn vibes! I’d recommend a show called Tales of the Unexpected- it’s a British programme from the 70s/80s and there’s an episode in particular called ‘The Flypaper’ which is really creepy!
I have them.on DVD!!!
I absolutely love Are You Afraid of the Dark and still watch it now even though I’m an adult.
Personally, Halloween is the one season I DON’T want to watch actual horror movies. My faves are always like, kid Halloween movies that focus on the holiday. Basically any Halloween D-Com or animated movie about the season lol. So nostalgic
I sort of understand this. I watch horror, but only "fun" horror. I prefer movies that are a bit lighter, with a party atmosphere. Trick R Treat does this well, and I consider Night of the Demons to be the best movie for Halloween.
Ironically, I don't consider Halloween to be a good movie for Halloween. It's a little too dry.
Yeah I totally get that. For some reason it’s always like around Christmas time that I always want to watch horror movies
Same Disney Halloween movies
This is 1000% me! I thought I was the only one 😅
Scardy cats
So one I never hear anyone talk about is "The Changeling 1980" with George C Scott. It really plays with your mind to get you scared. A must watch!!!
One of the greatest movies.
So underrated! The Changeling is amazing.
I love that movie
Seriously love the energy you’ve had in the videos lately! Even with the rant videos you seem much more inspired!
yes I definitely am!!
Darkness Falls and Thirteen Ghosts are two that I like to sometimes watch during spooky season.
Both are so unsung! They deserve more love.
@@the_petty_crocker Definitely! I especially love the backstory to Darkness Falls.
I think Terrifier became an extreme horror when a particular scene took place.
Let me guess which scene lol
Yeah I had not mentally prepared for that scene
@Jordan Wing I agree. Split right down the middle
Tbh the breast scene …. It alone was SICK
Gives new meaning to a banana split
I always watch Donnie darko around this time of year 🍂
Love that movie
That's a great movie suggestion 👍
YES
Good call
Me too!
My list: (not specifically halloween themed)
- Hereditary
- The conjuring 2
- The Descent
- Malignant
- Insidious
- Scream
- Orphan
- Coraline
Agree
Omg wasn't Malignant so good? These are all great choices.
Mine are never halloween themed, either!
Orphan?😐
Coralie is one of my comfort movies 😂
One of my favorites around this time of year is Guillermo Del Toro's "Dont Be Afraid of the Dark" the vibes in that movie are amazing and the fantasy horror angle is one we don't see often enough to me
Never heard of it, but now I'm adding that to my list. Thanks!
Omg I remember watching that when I was younger on netflix, I definitely wasn't ready for horror movies then because it scarred me lol
@@fromtexas2734 check out the original, from the 70s, it's really creepy
i love how much more passionate and refreshed you seem on this channel since taking a break from your lifestyle channel. So inspired by seeing you do what makes you happy!
Typically I don't rewatch anything in October, save for the 31st, I tend to use that month to knock off anything new that I haven't got around to so it always feels fresh 😊 but the 31st is definitely when I fall into comfort watches, oddly a lot of my films then are family friendly so it's always going to be
Trick R Treat
Drag Me to Hell (can't explain why but this always fits the vibe for me)
ParaNorman
Arsenic and Old Lace
Casper &
The Witches.
Great list though for anyone just starting to get into horror ☺
These are great films! For Halloween, I always watch these movies:
-Halloween (obviously)
-Fright Night
-Corpse Bride
-REC
-Final Destination 3
-The Exorcist
-Hocus Pocus
-Trick or Treat
-Crimson Peak
-The Witch
Yes! I was going to say The Witch. One of my favorite scary movies ever. And I would include Scream on my list as well.
Another atmospheric film for Halloween is “Scarecrows” (1988). A small group of mercenaries hijack a plane that makes an emergency landing in a cornfield with very creepy and violent scarecrows
I actually really love Rob Zombie's Halloween
ME TOO
I agree, I understand how people don't like it because it humanized Michael Myers and tried to make us get to know his back story more. But I personally like his version! It's a solid horror film haha! I still gotta rank Carpenter's original version above though!
@@CheerstoFears I love them both so it's hard to choose. And I agree Rob did a good job at showing how Micheal became who he is also Tyler Mane is my favorite Micheal he's scary as hell lol and I actually love Scout Taylor Compton as Laurie Strode
@@PossessedbyHorror Same! I just wish that one **pointless** scene could be erased and it would be perfect 😅
@@PossessedbyHorror Me three!!!
The Crow! I watch The Crow every year. Dark, Rainy, The Cemetery. So Halloweeny, so beautiful. Also the dark backstory of the making of this movie. One of my all-time faves.
Don’t come for me, but my Halloween tradition has been to watch Killer Klowns From Outer Space. 😂 I just love the cheesiness of it, terrible 80s special affects.
Lol I'm there with you.
And Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes.
I know it’s not horror but I always watch hocus-pocus on Halloween night
#1 movie to watch during Halloween time
Fright Night (1985) and Night of the Demons (1988) both give off great Halloween vibes as well. Love those two!
SARAH THIS LOOK IS EVERYTHING
Watched May on your recommendation and I’m unbelievably obsessed THANK YOU
OMG! I love how you categorized the movies based on a general feeling or setting. It's hard to find suggestions for a horror movie with a specific asthetic or setting. I can see myself 2 hours from now still watching your content bc that's exactly what I'm about to do🤣
So glad you recommended May! It's seriously an underrated gem!
YES QUEEN! you look stunning!
I LOVE YOUUUUU i’ve literally been scouring likewise communities and building a list all day!!! so glad the spooky vibes are finally everywhere
Yay!
Gonjiam Haunted Asylum made the list!
It's great at creating the feeling of Claustrophobia and confusion.
The Blair Witch Project makes you feel more lost without a sense of direction.
Gonjiam makes you feel trapped with nowhere to run and hide.
Saw May as a kid and was a fellow self conscious introvert, I cried and felt so bad for that crazy girl. Soo good!
CrtKazz J - The end makes up for it, though...unless:

"May" is hallucinating. 🤔
Tales of Halloween and Trick r treat have always been my favorites and nobody ever takes abt them im so glad you put light on them
Your makeup, your hair AND your outfit!!!! I'm in love!!!
Sinister and The Ring made me cry from fear when I watched them and I haven't seen them again!
Kinda sorta Halloween-y but kinda not is The Void. It is so freaky and great if you like Lovecraft type of vibes
“Well, my spooky marathon never really ends, does it?” Love that 😂❤️ Thank you for another great movie list!! Trick r Treat, Hocus Pocus, and Scary Godmother Halloween Spooktakular are my must watches every year!
thanks! I love this list
YES Gonjiam slaps SO HARD!!!! So glad you mentioned it. I loved it.
I don't remember if it's on the right season, but Cherry Falls is always on my Halloween list
Angel Heart, 1987. That's a great one.
Thanks for the list!
I love it, your spooky marathon is 365 yaaas!
I love that you mentioned may it's one of my all time horror favorites and is really underseen
Big shout out to "May"! The ending is spot on.
The Hell House LLC series was genuinely effective. I'm watching them all again this year.
Edit: YES! Gonjiam was so good!!!!
Love hell house llc. And I still haven’t seen gonjiam. Gotta get on that cause I’ve been hearing about it for a bit
I love the Hell House series. The first one is one of the only movies that truly scared me. I'll have to put Gonjiam on my list!
Me and my manager watched that series on shift once. After we were kind of freaked out to walk around the building. At least I was haha
@@emmmahezw Gonjiam is really good. Highly recommended.
HHLLC: Ok, I really like found footage horror, but I don't think you need to be a fan of the sub-genre to love this movie. (-:
@@fisheyenomiko I’ll get right on it! I get scared really easily if I’m being honest, so I’ll wait to watch it during the day tomorrow when I’m off of work instead of tonight. I’m using the excuse that I want to be alert and awake so I can read the subtitles haha. Wish me luck, guys!
I loooove your energy girl
I love the vibes here
I’ve been making my list the past week so this is exactly what I need for inspiration 😭
Lol ikr I've been super busy and haven't gotten to sit down and make my list yet, but I've been thinking about it, so this is awesome!
speaking of Gretel and Hansel, the Witch or vvitch feels like a spooky fall/novembery feeling movie that I would recommend!
One of my top 5 favourite horrors. I love Black Phillip.
@@tamarad4146 me too
The Innkeepers is such a gem! I’m so glad you added it.
Great list and comments. Fantastic.
(Not Halloween themed) Suspiria, Deep red, Exorcist, Exorcist 3, The changeling (1980), Rosemary's Baby, It Follows, Hereditary, Midsommar, Us. I've been enjoying Malignant the more I watch it. Why the close up of the panda socks?
Exorcist 3 is so underrated
If I remember well, near the end of “Ginger Snaps”, there is a Halloween costume party…
Happy to see you making content about things you seem genuinely excited for!!! Adding all these to my autumn list
HERE SOOOOON! Thanks for this I needed it!
I’m glad you mentioned May, I was just saying how May is slept on.
I just watched it based on this video and it is a cool one I just hated the music lol
i think the mortuary collection would be a fun one to put on during the halloween season! it definitely fits the vibe for me
Omg love the craft!!!! Thanks for reminding me about it for spooky season
Just started a Shudder subscription. I'm excited!
You brought up making Halloween into a drinking game, if anyone needs help with that we do exactly that haha! I didn't expect to hear that suggestion from you but after hearing it I couldn't help but comment!
After watching this video, yes! It is the only halloween movie list i’ll ever need. Great picks 👍🏻
Hope you’re doing well and i hope you have a great weekend. I send lots of love your way 😊❤️
So READY! 🙌🏻
love this video !!! literally my comfort channel
Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum is definitely on my top scary movies I have ever seen lol Good list by the way!
The irony at the end...
almost shit my pants when they zoomed on the possessed girls face speaking in demonic tongues
Just watched it. Almost fell asleep several times. Finally got good around the 1 hour mark.
I just discovered Trick last year, I was pleasantly surprised how much fun it was. Recommending it to all my friends for Halloween movie marathons this year.
Halloween season i love rewatching all my favorite Halloween themed movies.
Omg, these are all so great 😳. Thank you!! Great taste.
Finally someone that feels the way I feel about Gonjiam!!! Watched it a few months ago and it’s sooooo good, and I was terrified after watching it. I loved all the characters, and the setting is just perfect. Reminds me so much of Grave Encounters, which is another fave of mine!!
Have you seen "REC"? It's a Spanish found footage movie and it's soooo good. It's not a "searching a supposedly haunted building" film, but most of it takes place at one location.
Soooooo glad this channel was recommended for me because I think we might have the same taste in horror movies (except I loved Malignant but we don't have to talk about that hahaha)
oh hell yeah!! i’m definitely getting in the holiday spirit. great list sarah!!
Finally watched Ginger Snaps and I love it thank you for the suggestion!!
I've been getting more into horror movies recently and this is what i needed for the spooky season ^.^
I guess Halloween 4 in particular would make it on my list. It's very nostalgic for me because of being a little kid walking around the neighborhoods late at night with my halloween costume feeling scared :)
*also the scene having multiple Michael Myers on the street acting in character was so relatable
i was hoping for this list omggg 🥺
Love your all black business type look!! Thanks for the recommendation. Some of those are my favs as well. I’m totally glad you added May.
Hell yes! I already started binge watching horror movies. I rewatched the first 5 nightmare on elm street movies. I'm definitely adding these! ❤💀🗡
I have a feeling my list is going to look similar. Glad you included "Hellfest". I haven't seen "Cry Wolf" since it came out. I'd like to check it out again.
I just found your horror channel through the algorithm but I recognize you from your fast fashion vids! I grew up with horror and love the genre so much. So much of these movies I'm not familiar with and it's incredible that two people can be absolute horror heads and not have any overlap between favorites! It reminds me just how diverse the genre is and that's why I absolutely love it!!
Awesome Thank You!
I always love these lists. So excited for Halloween!!
Halloween 4 and Halloween 6 definitely has the best fall atmosphere in the series
H3
Sarah, you are serving with this look!! Fabulous 🖤
OMG thank you for mentioning May!! No one ever talks about it, so underrated
I can’t imagine a Halloween watch list without The Witch. Ever since it was released, I have always watched it during October.
I don’t get the hype around that movie
@@reedharrington6954 for me, it’s the way it’s filmed. It makes you feel like you’re watching something you aren’t meant to be witnessing. Like somehow a camera crew was able to go back in time and record this family’s undoing in real time in their real surroundings. Very authentic.
Such a great list! I started making my Halloween watch list a couple months ago lol There are a few you mentioned I haven't even heard of tho that I'm now interested in checking out, thanks! ❤🎃🦇💀🐱
awesome list. Omg I’m ready for spooky season
Love your hair!
Thank you for a fun list. I have now watched all the movies on your list that I hadn't seen yet, and our taste is very different - especially with the movies in part one. That doesn't matter, it was fun crossing "unseen" Halloween movies of my list. One recommendation I woul'd like to give is the 1989 Tom Hanks movie The Burbs. It is a commedy with elements of horror. A great movie to watch in October. Kind regards from Norway.
I love your channel soooo much! I’ve been binging all your videos since I found you like 3 weeks ago lol. Hope October brings lots of good content 🧡🖤
yay thank you!
October 12th
Oh this list is a great idea! I'll follow your recomendations! I'll catch up by watching two movies in a day! Love It!
Yay!! And yes I will be participating! I love your lists. Hoping The Guest is on here.
The Rite with Anthony Hopkins is a tense movie to watch during October.
You've metioned some movies I've never heard of before. I'm gonna check em out, thanks! 👍
Controversial opinion, but I think that Halloween 3 season of the witch is the best Halloween movie.
Love it as a stand alone Halloween movie
Same!
conal cochran is a legit creepy villain who thinks he's playing a joke on all these kids by murdering them.
Absolutely! I love him. Pretty sure it is the same guy that plays Michael in pt 2.
@@loganc1158 No, but Dick Warlock, who played Michael in part II, was in III as one of the androids. He was also a stunt coordinator for both films. (-:
Great recs!
Really loved your vibe here! Relaxed, comfortable and fun 💕
Haunt was a better Hell Fest than Hell Fest.
I have always been a major fan of the SAW franchise!
Thank you so much for this list! :*
I love May. I rewatched it recently and still found May super captivating.
I had added Gonjiam to my list since I saw you rated it so highly. I’m excited to check it out.
