    Hi Paul, thanks for the video! Would you find a variation with the gradual straightening of the assisting arm a valid in-between progression? I'm working my way up from mantle ring chin-ups to full archers at the moment (so perfect timing of the video), but can only perform up to 3 correct archer repetitions per arm, which declines to 1-2 with following sets and feels like not giving enough stimulus. I'm choosing whether the negatives or the gradual straightening version or even getting back to the mantles with more volume and/or even more accentuated negatives.

      Yeah its hard to say, I would normally go with some type of drop set so do 1-2 reps of the harder progression followed by 3-4 slightly easier ones. Aim for 30 seconds total time under tension per set
