- Say hey to Zant. TNPr I met in a gun store today. Unbelievably he aces the no notice Nutnfancy gear check. We talk about his loadout, some defensive philosophy, my embarrassing physique and poor sense of style, and what Zant will look like in the future.

Hey Nutn! You got this video up really fast! It was great to finally meet you and see your predictions for my physique in about 20 years! hahaha and to everyone leaving awesome comments, Thanks guys, just another TNP dude leaving the house ready for the day. New term "sheep doggin it"

This video made my day. This Is why I like TNP videos so much . Nutn is a good dude he's honest positive and has a good set of values. Sometimes the negativity of a lot of the other parts of CZcams is overwhelming. It's good to see other guys out there that you can tell are just good guys. Keep up the good work!!

He didn't ace the gear check! He didn't have a light. I consider a light (or four) a must have EDC item.
Especially if you're armed.
There's a light on that particular phone so technically, he did ace it. Is it as good as a good tactical light? No, but still a light. I do agree with you in that a good light is a "must have" item for EDC.
purplemutantas Yup. I usually carry a Thrunite Ti2 for work (I'm employed as a mall superintendent) and when I lock up with the lights out, it's impossible to find my way.
I might have to pick up a Ti in titanium for an upgrade! :)

I really enjoy that you are into the Dub-Step, Technology (phones etc), your a star wars/comic book nerd and all those other fun things that dont usually come with lots of tuff guy shooters who run and gun in the desert.

I have three rules of engagement. 1. Always avoid conflict if at all possible. 2. Expect an encounter at all times. 3. When it starts do not BS. When you punch or cut, go for bone. If you must use a fire arm, destroy the target.
When I first read your comment on 3 I was like dam that's brutal. But I thought about it and I agree. If there ever is a situation where you need to pull a knife or gun it better be a serious one. If your not ready to do some damage and really hurt someone you have no business drawing your wepon because the situation isn't one where you needed to defend your life, which is the only time a wepon should be drawn.
Indeed, if someone does something so bad that you are forced to brandish a weapon to defend your life you do not play. At the least you disable the person and at most kill them out right. If you ever find yourself in this situation feel no remorse for the person. When they endangered your life or the life of a loved one you didn't cause their injury or death, their actions caused it. They are responsible for your actions.
You will love the 2022, I just ordered a P226 after shooting one the other day, just fell in love with it, so similar to the 2022, it is a bit heavier though. Awesome preparedness bud!

Man Dime! LoL good prep nice equipment check. I have to admit I only carry gun, knife, OC Spray I have a light on my phone, in my truck I have tack vest, PR24, handcuffs & and extra ammo.
Great to meet another real dude. I can not imagine this guy upset, he is so at peace with life. Not that I'd want to piss him off or anything like that. Finally, somebody passes the gear check! There are more of us out there, you know. More Peace.
Dude, you did a great job in the video, very relaxed and matter of fact. You guys hit it off like you were long time friends. Maybe you should consider doing some videos yourself as I think you definitely have the personality and apparent knowledge to make some good ones. Food for thought dude. AWESOME that he had everything on him. I really need a new knife and my CHP :(, I guess I'll be getting them the next time I get some money, it's just too easy to spend the money on ammo. This video is pretty dang cool though. We need more philosophy vids Nutn... Or at least more of you just talking about concepts, systems, ideas, ideals, morals, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love gear and shooting, but philosophy videos are really inspiring and right now, we need it. Elections and all, ya know?

first off. the entire video was shot at an upward angle from 6'3" nutnfancy, awesome. love it that 6'6" 240lb zant knows that even though hes huge, having a gun is the best back up option for defense, like he said after words. props guys.

LOL!! Love the socks! I've always doubled my socks down like that too! Trying to be better with style but just don't care that much day to day. Special events or going into the city is different though.
just got back from utah last night. was over there for a week on a college bass fishing tourney and i can say i have no problems moving to utah! loved it there. im from california.
Got to agree with Zant on the cutting versatility of the partially serrated blade. My EDC typically is a combo, or both types of blades on my old Camillus or a multi-tool. I wish some of the bof makers, like Cold Steel, would do a two bladed EDC lock blades, one Serrated and one Plain. This was a good video. I would like to see more like this.
See? It really doesn't take that much work/inconvenience/hassle to be prepared. Add a keychain light next to the Juice... Great job, Zant, and by the way, awesome self-portrait @14:00.

Nice job Zant. Hey Nutn, i was shooting a 308 bolt action today and was having a hard time keeping my groups tight. Seeing how you rock with bolt actions, would you ever consider a fundamentals of long range shooting video? Just asking. Love the vids, keep it up
