Think that the update only gets better range in warmer weather conditions. Since Porsche didn't work on the drive train or aerodynamics it can't really give you real more range in winter.
Maybe the 2024 Taycan Cross Turismo gets real updates on aerodynamic and the motors... Some rumors about that.
We ordered a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo and will get it September this year so it's exiting what we get.

Hey Kris, thinking about getting a Cross Turismo 4 swapping out my Kia EV6. Any regrets going with the 4 over the higher trims? Were there any performance updates that improved acceleration of the 4 trim since it came out? I am thinking that going from my EV6 GT-Line AWD to a Taycan 4, I might be underwhelmed by the power even though handling and overall driving characteristics are much better in the Porche...thoughts?

What is the point of driving a Porsche if you can't travel any faster than 120 km
to get (at most) a (meager) 300 km range?
Hey kris, would you consider etron q8 55 Sportback? Range should be better then Taycan and also not so crampt space.
Don't think I would, I had an E-Tron 55 back in 20/21. And even though it has more range, it is basically the same car. Don't get me wrong, it is a great car - but been there done that. And also, I have an EX90 on order that I am much more excited about!
@@KrisRifa I hear you. Ex90 will be exciting. Also Macan electric and etron q6 are very interesting for me. What do you think when will these be available? I have old fat etron Leasing till December.
I think Tesla model S non plaid will go about same number in miles in similar conditions. You should do that before it gets warmer if you can get your hands on one. Winter really messes up with efficiency of the German auto for some reason
I am testing the new Model S Long Range in a few weeks and then the Plaid after that, guessing the conditions will be better. Will be interesting to see though :)
