Looks like the hose is too long to get a good suction to supply the abrasive material. Setups I've used were always a short hose usually less then 6 feet kinda a pain because the abrasive is right there but worked good. Also hose can't kink if it gets the smallest restriction it will close in slowing feed of blasting media. Never tried a wet blast with fine coal slag usually soda material or fine sand. My experience with coal slag was dry blasting high volume material and cmf but low pressure about 40 psi so not to warp pannels. If your pressure washer has a feed line for adding cleaners you can add a anti rust additive that will help with flash rust seeing its a wet blast. I've used metal prep in past works good and leaves a zinc phosphate etch on surface all I had go do was dry it off fast with air. Only down side getting the lines clear of the metal prep washing a car afterwards wouldn't go good can stain paint, but really attacks chrome will leave long lasting streaks.

Might b able to add a air port on the nozzle to help draw media and supliment the water would also inject air into stream

Hi tlcbear2. It look's like it working somewhat. Try Foster Dixiana BX60 sand. It's coarse mortar sand.
