They have built a ton of competition winners over the years. There is the Timney complete housing/drop in groups and the CMC drop in trigger at Midwayusa. You cant have every dam trigger tho. This does really show how much better all of them are compared to the factory for sure even the BX is miles better. Nice Job! It would be great if anybody watching could send in 1 of each of the other triggers and see how they rank. I only have 1 stock, 1 BX and 1 of mostly power custom parts unfortunately.

Broke down and bought a timney, and it was as smooth as butter and broke like glass. After a few hundred rounds it was harder to pull, but still broke nice. Just went off the deep end and ordered a tg. 2000 volquartzen. Hope it lasts better than the timney. It's hard to spend 5 time's more on on the trigger than the rifel cost 😩

The complete single stage trigger is very nice if you like a single stage trigger, but I also have the Kidd "trigger kit" that you install in your factory housing, and it is just as good as the complete single stage, but half the price. For Steel Challenge, I'm looking to replace the stock trigger on my 10/22 Stainless Takedown for RFPI. It's just too long of a pull to go fast. This is interesting because I was contemplating replacing the trigger group on my Thompson Center T/Cr22 [because it is pretty bad] with a better trigger. I was thinking of spending the cost of the Volquartsen....or maybe KIDD,...but those Hornet Triggers appear to be decent and about $100 less. Again, not aluminum, and still use the really curved trigger, though.
Yes, I know changing out the trigger group will make the T/CR22 no longer hold open on the last shot. I don't care. I don't use that magazine anyway. Not fun to load.

@@NoBody-jm3qt The KIDD trigger was so good that I wanted to improve the T/CR 22 with a better barrel, so I purchased a Volquartsen barrel and a Boyd stock for the .920 size. Unfortunately, the barrel purchased didn't work in the T/CR22 receiver [receiver hole not big enough or something]. I tried to make it work, but ultimately give up,...and purchased a KIDD upper receiver and extra parts to make a whole new rifle. I already had the Volquartsen barrel, else it could have been fully KIDD. But it is what it is. Shoots quite well in the first range trip...and pretty tight, considering using just CCI Standard Velocity.
The T/CR 22 is back to OEM. It works well enough....and it is something I can let my niece use and not worry about it much. If I really find I don't like the trigger, I can always just get a BX Trigger.

Triggers testers are only as good as the testing device used;,..I mean look at chronographs, the results in these are all over the place.

So, when you go to “catch” the hammer by pushing back on it, you took weight off of the trigger and fudged the results.
Once I saw that and saw the weights of the six different triggers roughly the same, I knew then that this was not a very good test.
It would have been a perfect test but you can’t interfere with the mechanics like that.
Bummer, such a good setup and video to have potentially tampered results like that.
