I haven’t even watched but I’m clicking like because I know my girl has been working hard and needs the recognition!! 👍🏼
'your girl"? "needs the recognition"??
Who talks like that?
MY HEART!!❤️
I'm with you! I love/like everything she does. I trust her with all my cooking needs.
@@Marcel_Audubon a true fan talks like that. If you aren't a fan. Why would you be here?
Happy to know I'm not the only one who does that 😅
Oh Me Oh My... This turkey is hands down the BEST turkey we've ever eaten. Compliments all around: "... really really good", "best turkey I've ever had", "...So moist and Juicy". Soooo good.... Gravy was delish!!!
Laura, I just want to say thank you for showing me how to cook a turkey. I cooked my thanksgiving meal from all your recipes and all I can say is you really helped me a lot. I made the turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and the stuffing using all of your recipes. Thank you so much! ❤
This was my husband’s and I’s first time cooking our thanksgiving meal. Everything was delicious and he loved it.
Thank you Laura ❤
The face that I’m Asian and I live in Paris now, means that I’ve never had a turkey and my household never celebrated thanks giving, but this video and all of your video makes me happy because it feels just like good time with family kinda vibe❤ love you and wishing your family from mine a wonderful holiday season, and hoping these platforms love your content as they should!

Your 2011 vid was my very first turkey I ever made! Now Its our go to year after year! Love your page 🎉🎉❤
I was able to host my first Thanksgiving this year thanks to your help! Everyone LOVED the turkey, thanks to your recipe! THANK YOU! 💜
Laura, my source of wisdom for all my Italian cooking, thank you for helping me make it through the past three years in life and in my kitchen.
I’ve been doing your thanksgiving turkey for the longest time. I make it every year and it’s yummy and juicy. Thank you!
Laura I have been using your recipe for 4 years now and I love it. It's part of our tradition. Thank you!
For Thanksgiving our oldest sister usually makes the turkey but this year the baby sister had the job. She's never made a turkey before but we knew your recipe would not disappoint and directed her to this video. Honestly the best turkey we've ever had it was picture perfect and juicy down to the bone. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving🧡
WOW! This is way more detailed than the original recipe. The added steps along with safety. is appreciated. I dry brine all of my pork butts. Pork and poultry 101. I'm glad you do this every year. Thanks.
You’re so welcome!! Ahhhhh cross contamination is SOOO scary to me!!
I followed your turkey, gravy, mashed potato and stuffing recipes and they all came out incredible!! Hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving, Laura! Thank-you!
Used your method and the turkey turned out great, first turkey I've ever cooked. Thanks for the video.
Wow, great recipe! Happy TG Laura! 🦃🍷
Thank you!!
Hi Laura, I followed your instructions about the salted skin/24 hour in refrigerator process. No time to go to store, so I made a butter with Good Seasons Greek dressing packet, thyme & rosemary & garlic under skin/in cavity with apple & garlic & lime & garlic (what I had in kitchen!) ...Laura, this was THE BEST turkey I've made in my Life. My husband was happy and I was so impressed with myself 🤣🤣 I'm a terrible cook, this was a great achievement! THANK YOU so much. Happy Thanksgiving! 🩷
Fabulous job on this. I'm starving.
Thank you!
Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍗
Love that recipe ,it has been 8 years doing it.❤
I am in the middle of a move and haven't been able to think this year! Well now I have a turkey recipe! Thank you so so much. 💕 can you do updated stuffing classic and ham? Thank you laura!! ☺️☺️
Thank you Laura 🙏 Appreciate how detailed this was
I love it
😋
🎉🎉🎉
I tried this turkey method today for our family get-together and it was amazing. I am sort of a "if it's not broke, don't fix it" type of guy, but this video looked intriguing, so I tried it. The turkey was so flavorful and juicy. The juices at the bottom of the pan were so rich that I didn't have to add any bullion-just flour and the best gravy ever. I have a new favorite turkey recipe. Thanks.
Tip from a Italian American friend, when you’re doing the butter mixture, put it on the plate… smash all the ingredients on the plate it works much better than doing it in a bowl. I cook my turkeys, almost identical to how you’re cooking you that one! And I totally agree on your cooking times. So many people over cooked their turkeys, and they’re terrible, totally dry. Happy Thanksgiving ❤
just made this turkey today as a trial run and it was amazing!!!!! i just added more butter and would prob add more flour for gravy
Oh heck yeah!! Gobble gobble!!
Dry brining for the win 💯
Always!
Thank you Laura to give us plenty of time to plan ahead 🤗
Love to hear it!
Thank you for a wonderful video with so many helpful tips! That turkey looked so delicious and moist. Going to try this out. Happy Thanksgiving! ❤
Im still following the original thanksgiving turkey and using turkey necks to make the gravy!
Love these tips and tricks, Laura. Thank you so much! Perfect execution. 😋😋🥰🥰
You’re so welcome!
I just found this video 2 weeks after you uploaded this. I enjoy the video, and love to learn how to make and work on the turkey recipe. 😁. Have a great Thanksgiving. In Michigan, it will be 33 degrees and cold during Thanksgiving day. I will stay inside and watch football as my plan for Thanksgiving.
This looks amazing 😍
Thanks so much Laura!! You hit it out of the park once again. This will be our first year making a turkey 😅 wish me luck!!
Thanks Laura for sharing this recipe ,with us ❤❤❤God Bless you and your family

You’re so welcome!!
Question-do you baste during the cooking process like the original recipe? Can’t wait to make this!

Great video. I’ve never dry brined my turkey because of refrig space but we’ve added an extra frig to our garage so… this is the year. Love this. Thanks so much.
Very nice 👍🏻 I know this video will help out people that are nervous because they're cooking this for the first time or not that experienced doing turkeys in general.
MA’AM !! this is a MASTERPIECE ! ❤
The best turkey recipe! Thank you Laura, I have learned how to cook a turkey. I have been making your butter and herb for a couple of years now and it comes out just beautiful every single time!
Ahhh so happy to hear it thank you
The very detailed explanation is just 😘
Awwww I’m so glad!!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
Yes yes yes! Thanksgiving is over for me but I’m gonna save this for next year!! ❤❤
I love your channel Laura thank you for all of your tips, trips and recipes.... I've always wanted to try brining my turkey but my husband decided to have high blood pressure so i can't even do it😢 🤦🏾♀️... i hope everyone loves their turkeys this year!
I have been making your original recipe for three years now. I am so excited to try this one. I am from Canada and Thanksgiving past but I am going to make this on the American thanksgiving. Thanks again for another great video😘
You will just love it i know it!
Laura, you look beautiful! I love the sweater! It gives me such nostalgia to watch your videos, especially around the holidays. I am so glad you are still on CZcams and making videos.
The ads started when you were going to say the tips for the timing and temperature and I screamed! But thank you!
I will use the butter recipe and the gravy method.
I’m going for it! Wish me luck. 😅
❤❤❤Laura, you’re the best! 😁👍🏻💕
Thank you so much for your recipe and video.... could you please kindly advise where in your oven do you keep the rack? All the way in bottom level? 2 levels from the bottom or in the middle? Thank you always❤
I started deep frying turkeys but I may just switch it up this year. Either way I’ll definitely use Laura’s turkey stock recipe.
Wow
Laura deserves the world ❤
Awwww that’s so sweet thank you❤️❤️
I love your recipes. I make your original recipe every year. need to do two turkeys this year. Have you ever cooked your turkey in an electric roaster? Of so. did you have to make adjustments ?
That rack roast-pan is genius !
Laura, used your turkey recipe for the first time. I had a 12# turkey, I covered it with foil and removed the foil 1.5 hours later. The foil was actually brown around the edges and the turkey tested done - what?! (I don't know if it was the dry brine or the herb butter rub, but there were almost burnt herb patches on the skin.) I knew that turkey could not be done so I put in back in the oven and waited for the "pop" up to happen, which was about an hour later. I let the turkey sit on the counter for an hour before slicing it and it was delicious! Bravo! However, my stock was so salty I couldn't use it to make gravy, I used 2T of salt (1T per 5#). Any idea what I did wrong? Your videos are fabulous! Mashed potato, sweet potato and stuffing were all delicious 👍
Yay🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Laura you rockin darling that's how you do it
Thank you lovely!
I’ve always brined my turkey with a cider brine. It’s good but I’m thinking of trying something different this year.
Love your Thanksgiving vids! I always follow them! So… I love that rose colored top you have on! Link?
What a fantastic video …..Laura you are a master in the kitchen….aromatics, compound butter, gravy…a whole turkey beautifully plated…Outstanding-thank you for all your hard work!!❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌⭐️⭐️⭐️
My heart!! Thank you so much!!❤️
I’m trying this!
Thank you! Do you need to baste the turkey?
Question: How can/should the cooking times be adjusted with a convection oven? I have been cooking the recipe from 10 (!) years ago every year for the past few years, but it cooks much quicker in a convection oven. Is there a general guide for converting roasting times if I use "Convection Roast" on my oven?
You’re bad ass! Love ya girl
Can you show us a whole thanksgiving feast? Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing! Please 🙏
But of course!!! It’s all coming!! Back to basics but done perfectly is the theme this year!
@@LauraintheKitchenyou’re the best thank you Laura 😍❤️
Notifications squad where u at 😊
👋
Hey, what do you do with the veggies that were in the bottom of the roasting pan?
Would this recipe still work in a electric roaster oven, or would couple things need to be adjusted?
Anytime I want to make something I look up to see if Laura in the Kitchen has a recipe on it because I know it’s gonna be good.
Can I use this recipe for a spatchcock Turkey? Also you use the brine on the outside of the turkey not under the skin?
Please tell us which type of white wine…🍾THANK YOU!
OK are usually make your original turkey and everyone loves it but this turkey right here looks so good. I might have to do it for Christmas.
Can I do this exact recipe without the dry brine?
Hello 👋 from Boston Massachusetts
Hi!!❤️
Can i do the same with chicken? This looks incredible BTW!
Sure!
Any tips on how to transport the cooked turkey? I’m cooking a 20lb one. My roasting pan does not fit in my cooler.
Bring on the holiday recipes Laura.
I gotchu!
If I bought a fresh butterball turkey, how is the prep different? Do I still salt and let it dry in the fridge?
Looks delicious! Will try your dry brine this year as I have been wet brining for several years but super hard to manage when doing 2 turkeys! Can you tell me is your oven set to "bake" @ 350 or "roast" @ 350 or can anyone else answer my question? Thank you!
Bske
If I got a Butterball turkey with what is says as "8% herb solution/salt" should I add more salt like normal or is it fine?
Hi Lauren the 🦃 looks great but I don't eat turkey on Thanksgiving I cook chicken and ham
