A diffrent development team did the Wii psp and ps2 versions, due to many delays a diffrent team re-did the whole thing for the next generation of consoles.
The Wii however is the only version that has local co-op

The Wii version is a different game, but it's quite fun in its own right. The later levels do a lot with a little in the artstyle department.

I don't care what anyone says, but I really love the Wii version. It's the underestimated version due to its graphic and artistic style, but it has a very aim smooth control that gives an arcade feel that no other versions have.

I used to play the PS2 version of this game as well as other movie tie in games like X-men Origin Wolverine and always wondered why they didn't look the same as the PS3/360 version, as a kid it was a confusing time where movie video games often have different versions between PS2/ Wii and PS3/360.
But honestly the cartoony art style on the Wii/PS2 version looks pretty good for what it is.

Not really. A different engine between each and some different gameplay elements. But each one is a masterpiece in their own way

It's a different engine and art style. Wii is based off of the cancelled reboot cartoon concept art, the other takes a realistic/fun direction
