    I have a pretty cool picture of the docking and work station with a big external touchscreen monitor.

    I thought about upgrading my zeus to this but I don't think I will. Was really hoping they'd upgrade to the topology view and add coding and programming features. Glad my shop has autels. Oh well.

    The ultra scope is Wi-Fi vs blue tooth too much latency with BT to run scope. Wi-Fi works great with the ultra tho

  • @phillipzan2005
    @phillipzan2005 Před rokem +1

    Autel Ultra is a Wi-Fi scope. Bluetooth can't transmit data fast enough for a good scope capture view. Also bluetooth does work fine for the VCI. Wi-Fi is much faster and allows for more data PID's to be on screen without slow down. You would be just limited to tablet hardware and software.

    • @Enrightauto
      @Enrightauto  Před rokem

      Either way it’s wireless and the snap on isn’t via the scope

      @@Enrightauto they did miss an opportunity. If it isn't going to dock to the tool then it needs to be wireless. For $12k at least

    Hey buddy, maybe you know this already but if you hit the Snapon S on the right of the screen it makes all those icons disappear. I love the new scanner. Hopefully they come out with some kind of docking station for it as well like the Zeus and Verus Edge.

      Jarhead diagnostics makes a holder for the scope to attach it to the scan tool.

    the scanner can only go as fast as the network on the vehicle. old and new scanner are typically the same. But I bet the boot up time for the news scanner is significantly faster

    • @Enrightauto
      @Enrightauto  Před rokem

      Yea it’s quick. Perhaps that’s true about the network but I’ve still used different scan tools on the same vehicle and one is faster than the others so it’s not 100% the reason of why a scan tool is fast or not.

    What is the advantage of Zeus + not having the scope module integrated over the original Zeus scanner that does have it integrated?

    • @Enrightauto
      @Enrightauto  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Great question, ideally it’s so you have some extra length and it’s smaller. Other than that I have no idea most scope modules are not integrated. They are separate in most cases

    I haven’t used it. I have a Zeus and love it but I feel snap on missed the mark big time with this new rendition.
    One of the bugs selling points was the integrated scope module and the docking station. Also it appears they didn’t upgrade the scope module.

      Snap on scan tools have always been great with gms fords & Hondas maybe Nissans they have a few brands they work well in. Autel isn’t great on Hondas which I work on a lot of.
