I apologize to everyone, upon further research it appears that the EAA Tanfolgio Witness Compact 10mm has a 3.6 inch barrel, not a 4 inch, and has an OAL of 7.3 inches, not 8 inches. Sorry.

Sig Sauers P220 Proven Platform of Accuracy and Reliability!
I have owned, and practiced with other 10MM pistols:
Glock, FN, Springfield, Dan Wesson 1911. I have found the P220 the best all round choice for me, because of the above mentioned features.
Thank you very much for sharing! I have to tell you, that when I hold the P220, I feel a level of quality that I can't quite understand. I do love that the barrel length is almost 6 inches, though I seem to love 6 inch barrels the best. One thing I am not totally fond of is that the grip feels like it is almost wide enough to be a double stack, yet it is a single stack. I love that I can put an optic on it if I chose to do so. I am also pretty sure I could get a threaded barrel for it. The sites on it are phenomenal. I haven't noticed that the reset is any shorter than my other pistols, but I guess i should check that. It does feel like it could endure the stresses of everyday carry better than my other 1911s without showing wear, but I have not tested that yet.

I have competed in PPC matches ( Police Pistol Combat) shooting the Glock 20 Gen 2-4 and occasionally the Glock 29 Gen 4 from 1993-2012 usually placing within the top 3.
I have always admired the 10MM pistol and found the Glock 20 to be accurate and reliable. More recently I have made the choice for a 10MM pistol selecting the Sig P220 Legion only I have the DA/SA varient.
The reasons I selected this particular pistol are: 1-All Stainless steel Frame and Slide. 2-Smooth (Double Action) Trigger for 2nd strike capability and my affinity for Double Action in revolvers.
3-5" barrel with fully supported chamber
4-Optics ready
5-Sig Sauer P220 reputation for reliability and Accuracy.
Although I have a great respect and admiration for the 10MM platform, if I were using a handgun for protection from a Bear, I would have to go with a 500 Mag or 460 Mag revolver like you have selected.
I think too many others are relying on capacity vs raw power like your revolvers.

I thought I had a lot of 10mms 😅 Three of my 10mms are now discontinued models, the SA TRP Operator, Dan Wesson Silverback, and SA XDM-10. I have three revolvers, a 610, Ruger GP100, and Ruger SS Blackhawk with an extra 40 S&W cylinder. I wish I still had my 1076, but that's life.

Because the Buin has an optic cutout and tritium fiber optic night sites.
