  • I made this drum sander to thickness guitar tops, back and sides. It features a 24" drum, adjustable table height, material roller feed and a 7" disc sander.. Thanks CZcams.. After watching other videos of DIY drum sanders I decided to build my own..

    This is by far the best homemade drum sander I've seen for luthiers. Could you make another video showing how you made it? Particuarlly the feed and table adjustment. Thanks. I'm so inspired.

    Spring loaded and the weight of the roller assembly itself.. Springs are around the adjustment screw below the roller assembly. I adjusted the height of the rollers just slightly below the height of the drum itself, therefor creating just the right amount of pressure to grab/ advance the material..
