An invention I've made to take the lower back strain out of shoveling snow.. That my 6 year old daughter playing with it.. Essentially it acts like a lever & fulcrum ( like the Egyptians did when built the pyramids) which cuts the weight of the snow down to about half and changes the awkward lifting motion to a more natural and comfortable downward pushing motion.. I'm looking for some investor...

    Why... why would you need to raise and lower all four corners, that's crazy expensive for all that chain and threaded rod, and so easy to get out of alignment if the chain get's slack.... why? a hinged flatbed with just two moving points would accomplish the same thing?

    Great that you've shared this idea! I already made my bending iron the way Pablo Requena shows in his video: How to make your own bending iron. Maybe another idea to have a larger diameter of the bending iron itself.

    I found that I could just find a metal piece with a small hole in it and setup a light bulb under it. It would make enough heat if everything is tight. I'll just buy an old lamp and some carved wood to fit the bottom to install the metal piece over it. Just have to find the metal piece in question now.

    Having trouble hearing what is being said. Lot of the time seems like he is mumbling to himself somewhere in the backround.Seems also like , as is with many of these videos, that a parts list and source for the parts should be supplied. I understand, if you want to keep your plans proprietary, that it is unnecessary to show plans details, and the presentor might like to sell their plans.

    Wow! This is the most unique homemade drum sander I have ever seen. How difficult would it be to attach a hood over your creation to suck up the dust? Overall you made one hell of a drum sander. The time it took to design and implement it definitely paid off. It truly is a very useful tool. After seeing your drum sander any other design on CZcams is just a joke. If you were to get someone to blueprint your design you could sell the design online. I’d buy one without a doubt. I am going to subscribe to your channel In hopes that you may have your design printed. How difficult would it be to attach a hood over the drums to pick up the dust? Thank you for sharing it on CZcams.

    How thick can you bend ?...totally new to this

    • @nguyenkhai1
      @nguyenkhai1 Před 3 lety

      I've done 2.5 mm cutaway (the guitar Im building in my other videos.. I had bent it on my bender with the wrong side out so when I flatted it out and bent it the other way it broke. Lesson learned.) So I cut the broken part out and bent the pieces on that curling iron. Would I consider the curling iron a replacement for a better bender? No, but it worked in this situation. I would recommend trying it out on some scrap wood of the same thickness and species to get a feel for: amount of moisture, how long to heat, when the wood wants to bend.

      @@nguyenkhai1 Hi, thanks for reply. I would like to know if the bolts that the springs slide on are screwed and how you calculated the height of the rollers to be two millimeters below the drum.

    • @nguyenkhai1
      @nguyenkhai1 Před 3 lety

      @@vincenzogiacalone the 4 bolt that the spring slides on are screwed into the bottom of the frame (i tapped some threads in the frame first). These bolts hold up the entire roller feed assembly. I get the 2 mm adjustment by backing out the bolt which causes the whole roller assembly to drop or tightening the bolts which causes the whole assembly to rise (i did this on all 4 bolts as evenly as i could). I say 2mm but it's just an estimate.. as long as the rollers are lower then the drum then it would be the first to contact the work piece. Which makes advancing the work piece possible. If the rollers were higher then the drum then it would be just merely decoration... Lol
