Electric Window CONVERSION Install

Today we Converted a 2014 toyota yaris base model from crank windows to electric in the front. The kit used was 80 dollars from amazon and provided all types of adapters to fit most vehicles.

Hi I have one of these kits fitted great but one side will do down but won't go up you hold the button up and takes a few minutes to respond l've tried siloken spray but makes no difference would you no the issue been fitted just over a year

I really wanted to see how the door went back on. I have a conversion, but not sure how to take the door panel off since the window controls are below the arm rest. Do I pop the arm rest out or do I need to pry the window control out first somehow?

There will probably be a few hidden screws behind panels! Check to see if the arm rest on the door skin can be removed, there most likely will be 2 screws under that! The bottom of the door skin should just pull straight off the door and then it will be lifted up towards the top of the car to remove the upper half of the door skin from the door

If you wire it directly to the battery wouldn’t it drain it after awhile?

No it’s only going to use power when the window motor is running

I just installed mine today direct to the battery but the switches had lights it won't drain my battery?

The 2019 Ram 1500 pickup I just bought for my son has hand crank windows.
