This peticular wand keeper is the best and most authentic. Seen him in person several times. He is an original from the old wand shop before diagonal alley and has been doing this for years. He's a great actor. I wish I knew his name or more about him. I hope he becomes a real hollywood actor as that is the ambition of most theme actors. His presence is a relaxing asmr too!

Its crazy to think that these replica wands are about $50aud each, and they have thousands of them on shelves in that place for people to pick up and buy, and probably more out back in storage to stock shelves with at the end of the day.
They're actually interactive now, so u can use them in the park

The Ollivander they employed is a great actor. It is really cool but I suppose its a pain that you have to buy the wand if you get picked, they should at least offer a discount. I went here yesterday on my Birthday and my eleven year old brother got chosen, I know its stupid and I'm really annoyed with myself but I got into a huge strop, I didn't say anything but I was huffing and puffing the entire experience, I was just stood with my arms folded and not laughing at anything Ollivander said.
I'm a massive Harry Potter fan and my brother isn't! Ollivander should have chosen meeeeeee!! I would enjoyed it so much more!!!
I do realize now that he probably just saw an eleven year old boy and a blonde, fifteen year old girl in a pretty dress so of course he chose my brother. I should have worn my sorting hat hat and my Luna Lovegood spectrespecs and my deathly hallows necklace, my deathly hallows bracelet, my dark mark tattoo, my Luna Lovegood t-shirt and my Gryffindor scarf.

Every experince is different though. I haven't had the chance to go, but out of the videos I've seen, I think they typically pick children for a reason than adults. Not always the case, but probably because children believe in the "magic" more than adults.

+CrazyPotatoKilla From what I've seen online, yes you can. They have unique ones at the front of the shop that are interactive. And I also believe you can get the character wands as interactive ones too.

Yep! You can pick any wand that you like from the shop. You can also give your birthday to one of the shop workers and they'll tell you what type of wand is made for you! - Tad, Undercover Tourist

No, they usually only sell the character wands, but they also have some non character wands.

What makes the Ollivanders inside the Diagon Alley different than the one that's been in the Hogsmeade expansion all this time? They're basically the same right? I dont see what the point of having 2 was
+Chestney Chiller there was only one room at Hogsmeade and it always got full and packed and the line was long, in Diagon Alley there's 2-5 rooms, so there's constant shows and barely a line.

Tad, if you know your wands wood, length and core, are you able to find exactly your wand or do they not have such a specific sorting for wands?

based on the videos I've seen they don't seem to. :/ It seems based on your bday, which according to when I was doing research (stumbled on it), its based on JK Rowlings calendar for the wands and type. So depending on your zodiac sign (which it seems to be closer to), depends on the wand you'll end up getting. So if you know your bday wand, you should be able to just walk in, pick it up and walk out. Otherwise for what you are looking for, Noble Collections might be better. I have never ordered from there, but there selection is insane~
But yeah. that's all I can tell you off what I know. Sadly I live in AZ, so I am basically waiting for the Universal LA version.

Shelby Lynn Some wands are decoration. There's a stand right across from Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (in Hollywood) that has character wands on display. If they have a circular black tip, they're interactive (don't touch the tip; or else it'll break it and the wand won't work). If it's just a wand with no tip, it's just decoration.

Hey @sugar skullz5987! He sure does! We spoke with Guest Relations and they recommend speaking with a team member before entering, if possible. But it's an experience everyone is able to enjoy! :)
