I wouldn’t trade my enlisted time for anything, it really is what you make of it. There will be highs and lows in anything. Try to accentuate the positive and it will make your time more enjoyable. Once you have some miles behind you, you’ll look back on your service fondly. Fair winds and following seas, wish you the best, thank you for serving.
Good video. Watched the whole thing. It's the realest navy video I've seen. The real day to day. Doesn't seem like ya doin much, but many on the outside look up to you guys and would trade our McDonald's and Walmart jobs to be on a boat. You have the bravery to go through with something many of us don't, and nobody will be able to take that away from you. Stay strong my brother, one day at a time man, one moment at a time
Bro, be careful what you say. I know some shipmates who got kicked out on a dishonorable or OTH discharge for what they said on videos. People watch these. Just looking out for a shipmate.

@@SillyLilly2024I don’t regret the skills I learned, the perseverance I obtained, serving my country, and the benefits. Hello...its kool that you're giving peple Navy life....but translate Navy terms to civilian terns....ie..CS are cooks....cranking is working with the cooks in the galley( kitchen)...on the mess deck aka the place where the food is served and we sit down to eat...good job😊 Corpsman do not mess crank
Kid when I got out of navy 2012, I had to fight for many things as far as VA goes. So please for the love of god, document everything as far as medical goes…. As you said you need to look out for yourself…. File that stuff and medical problem are documented… that boat look familiar is that LCC 19?
On the marine side duty aint bad for us might get screwed over once in a while but it aint too bad our is from 7am-7am next day haven't been on ship yet
Awesome. I am a Marine and I love my shipmates. Just to let you know, Newbies always start at the bottom. In the military and in the civilian sector. You have to earn respect and be discipline. Proud of you. ❤❤
You could have googled most of this stuff that you’re complaining about and watched CZcams videos before enlisting. I think you’re spreading your bad attitude.
so you go there to the navy do you get a place to sleep free of charge? what if you have no money and no where to go do you just basically end up on the streets?
Navy gives fulltime pay on a contract for you to be shipped wherever necessary, giving food to eat and a place to sleep. If you can do 50 pushups and run a good mile, I say join. Regular jobs ain’t 💩. Atleast in the navy or marine corps as long as you do your job and nothing wrong you’ll have great job security, and a chance at better jobs when you leave
