    The Aiguille du Midi is a summit located in Haute-Savoie, located about 5 km to the northeast from the top of Mont Blanc. Culminating at 3,842 meters, it is the highest needle in Chamonix. On the main summit rises a tower, carrying telecommunication antennas, which represents the current highest point. Also the nearest peaks: Aiguille du Plan ( 3673 m), Aiguille de Blaitière (3522 m) , Aiguille du Grépon (3482 m).
    The Mer de Glace is a glacier located on the northern slopes of the Mont-Blanc massif is formed by the confluence of the Tacul glacier and the Leschaux glacier and flows into the Arve valley, on the territory of the commune of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, giving birth to the Arveyron. The glacier is seven kilometers long.
    The Bossons glacier - relatively short but steep (average slope of 28°), it goes from the summit of Mont Blanc (4,810 m) to 1,420 meters in just 7.3 km and has many seracs and crevasses in the steep slopes, taking on the appearance of ice falls
