Absolutely stunning. I would love to go there one day.
What’s stopping you! Go! It’s the trip of a lifetime 🎉
Great video, I’m planning on going in august and this really sold it
It really is an amazing place! We went during the September month and it was a little cold at times but some days were super warm! It’s a magical place to go.
Nice information about Chamonix. We will be staying there two nights after hiking the TMB in Sept , so I hope the weather is nice to be able to do those extra outdoor sites.
It is such an amazing place to visit! There are so many amazing attractions for locals to do and even tourists. We went there in the month of September.
@@woahASMR, I have visited Switzerland many times and very close to the French Alps, Chamonix was on the list on one trip, but never made it, so it will be fun to see and a treat at the end of our hike.glad you enjoyed it. If you haven't done it, the Jungfrau region is amazing. Paragliding out of Lauterbrunnen with AirTime is super fun too.
Great video, although "top of the Mountain" is not Du Midi, it is Mont Blanc, highest peak in Europe. L'Aiguille Du Midi is actually the base camp for the climbers attempting Mont Blanc.
Thank you for this information!!!! ❤
L'Aiguille Du Midi is a mountian in aits own right, which is in the Mont Blanc Massif. Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe,, not Europe, thats Elbrus. The Midi is the "start point" for the "Trois Monts Route", but not the normal base camp for most ascentionists.
@@andylindsay6678 This is great information to know! I always know there are more knowledgable people than myself out there when it comes to this type of stuff!
Awesome video friend 👍👍
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
great video! I hope to go this year! do you have any recommendations on how to get from Lyon to Chamonix for those who don't drive?
We took a bus from the airport! They have a lot of different companies to pick from. Once you land, definitely go look at the bus companies!
Oh thats great! thank you for responding!
Chamonix is not in france, it's in Savoy!.. In international right
Hi!!, great video!! I have one question: Is the ascent to plan de L'aiguille and the ascent to Aiguille du midi paid separately? We would like to buy the ticket for Aiguille du midi and we plan to go down plan de L'aiguille to adapt a little to the height and then go up to the second section, however I don't know if the ticket for Aiguille du midi allows us to make this stop, or we should go up to the second part immediately to avoid being charged. Thank you very much and greetings.
We bought the full pass ticket, but I do believe the ticket gets you right to the top from what I can remember! It’s worth the extra $ if to see from the top. It is the most magical view you will ever see. Trust me!
You missed out the best bit at the glacier, Where their is a door in the rockface that takes you into the most stunning mineral collection you will ever see in your life in a dark room. All light up behind huge glass pannels like a fishtank but with minerals, Mount Blancs gems, That room blow me away. And thanks to the mineral collectors that risked their lifes that found them and gave them away to show other people how big these minerals can get. As a climber i was blown away by them, Their might be pictures online for you to see them.
What!!! I wish we knew about them when we were there, sounds like you had an incredible trip 😍
Amazing video
Glad you think so!
Great video. Did you use a drone? If so which one was it? Was it 250g or less? We have a dji spark I’m wondering if we can use it?
We did use a Drone. We used the DJI Mini 3 Pro with the regular batteries. That made it 249g. But I honestly don't see a problem using a drone that weighs more. No one cam up to us ever and asked about the drone. People were more intrigued than anything else!
@@woahASMR thanks for the reply!
I bought the spark because it was below the weight requirements at the time. Then they lowered the weights 🤬 I’m sure they’ll keep lowering the weights and even the mini will become too heavy 🤦♀️
I know what you’re saying, but it’s a €10,000 fine and up to 6 months in prison!!
What a joke!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
@@ali88881 Holy smokes! I did NOT know that the fine was that intense and jail time too!! WOW!
I love your backpack would you share what brand it is?
Oh thank you!!! The b rand is LOVEVOOK from Amazon!
Great video! What airport did you fly in from? Did you rent a car? If not please advise how you got around to do activities, shops, etc. Also what hotel? Thank you!!
We stayed in an Airbnb actually. More cost effective, and we took the train that goes entirely throughout chamonix. VERY handy!
We did not rent a car, just the train as it stops at all points of interest. The main train station is in the heart of chamonix and drops you right down centre
Haven't been to Cham for ages. Can you still buy the 'passport' that gets your access to various sights, eg.Aiguille du Midi, Mer de Glace, etc?
Yes you can buy the package that gets you into all the attractions. It’s at the front entrance to the Mont blanc cable car!
@@woahASMR Amazing, thanks for responding so quickly! Glad you enjoyed Cham, it's magical! Love the Museum.
You are so welcome!!! We loved all of it
The trail at the end, was it Le Brevent? Love Chamonix. Hope you liked it!!
It was!!!! Such a spectacular place, it warms my
Heart just thinking of it 😊😊😊
@@woahASMR, great to hear that. I did Brevent when we were there last year. Still recovering from an ankle twist from up there 😀.
Oh no!!! Yah there are some big roots that were on that trail. Hope it healed up!
Great video what month was you there please 👍
We were there for the third week of September!
YEAH MY CITY 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You live in the best place ever then!!!!!
How much does it cost for the return gondola?

This’ll help answer all your questions!
I was there in 17 and yes it has shrunk, going back in 24.
It’s such an amazing place! Your profile picture is very familiar as we went to Nusa Pineda as well!
Kelingking Beach, fantastic walk down but hectic.

@@Largeportion1000 oh it was a TREK! We made a video about our adventures in Bali too. We stayed there for a month
I have been to Bali and Indonesia quite a bit first time in 85 it has changed dramatically since then its lost the island paradise vibe.
I use to my family probably 5 or 6 times as they were growing up, did not go for a long time after the bombing.
@@woahASMR
It really has changed! Its so crowded and lost the island vibe like you had mentioned@@Largeportion1000
Great video! Could you please share the location for 06:58?
This area was just off the main path leading outside of the city. When you rent the bikes your given a map that has different colour paths on it - representing levels of hardness. This was the green level that goes beside the river that you’ll see on the map!
@@woahASMR thanks alot!
@@abhigyanbhuyan1138 your so welcome!
Hi! We're leaving for Chamonix on Saturday. We already know we want to hike Lac Blanc, but this Gorges de la Diosaz seems like a perfect second hike. How did you get there from Chamonix, please? Thanks much!
Laurence Schwarz
Edmonds, WA.
If you search that location on Google maps, you’ll be able to see which trains/trains you have to take! We took two trains. There is one main train station in chamonix and there is also a kiosk desk there with someone who can give you the exact directions to get there!
@@woahASMR awesome! Thank you very much! I thought you mentioned something about taking a train(s) there in the video! - Laurence
There is a train you can take! But it’s more of like a “subway” type train that has stops like a bus/train transit system
@@woahASMR Hi! We were there already! Unfortunately, we never made it to Gorges de la Diosaz. Lac Blanc? Easy hike they said. No problem they said. Out of the 3 of us, I was the only one that actually made it. My wife and daughter turned back after about 1/4 of the way.
Really!? Woah! Well good for you for finishing it!
what time of your were you there?
We were there in September!
@@woahASMR thanks for the reply. just wondered as you mentioned it was summer but the temp was abit low...
It was middle of September, so the temperatures did vary, but it is higher elevation, so it makes sense why the temperatures were lower.
If you go to Chamonix and don't get a burger at Poco Loco, you're missing out.
I agree! Chamonix is such an amazing place. The food there is so GOOD!
And hot dogs at Kewl Cats 😀
We didn’t get one there unfortunately! Next time!!
It would be very helpful if you added chapters to your video.
Thank you for this! I will work on doing this!
which month was this?
We went in September!
Hello Mam, I sent you an Email about your CZcams channel did you get it?
I did not!
Would you name that mountain? Top of the mountain!🙄
The top of the mountain is called Mont Blanc! It’s the highest point in the alps and in Western Europe
Publish the cost of these atractions$$$
I will for sure! Thanks for the thought! Definitely will do that
Nice video, but the captions are annoying
Thanks for that information! Definitely will consider this on future videos!
