This is actually a K332 model. The K327s are two-pickup models, but they had adjustable pole pieces. EDIT: I bought one of these K332s, but without its electronics. It also has a weird scale length of 25 15/16ths, no joke, I measured it a few times.

Sounds kinda wooly and woofy. I like the feel but not a lot of clarity. Better on single notes. Could be amp or any pedals you are using?

They're probably not "Gold Foils," exactly. Kay tended to use pickups they made in house. This is probably just a sub-version of the Kay "Pancake" pickup, also known as a "Zippo." Seen on the Kay Vanguard K100 and K102 models. This version, not having a metal cover across the whole top, would definitely sound a bit different though.

Turns out that I was right. I bought one of these pickups (non-working) on Reverb, and it's a sub-version of the Kay "Zippo." They also made this type of pickup with red decor, and also another version that has screws for pole pieces, but that version seemed to only last for 2 years, and not many guitars seem to have it.
