That Honda player Plusisnotreal beat me in bracket (winners finals) some weeks ago with his Honda. I swear ive never felt more like im terrible at this game than when i was losing to that garbage. I got pretty salty about it in all honesty, and i shouldn't have let it get to me, but i do stand by the fact that Honda is braindead and this player and his success is the personification of that. Hearing Punk call his playstyle idiotic was music to my ears lol

Punk, you can block the first hit of butt slam, crouch hp him on the way down. You get punish counter juggle into level 3. A few perfect parry into scaled damage won't make them stop. Need to make it hurt.

Im also a Cammy main in Diamond 5 and I blow up Hondas like this. There are some serious counters to his shit. Just need to lab it and get it into your muscle memory. The amount of anti air punish counter crouch hp into level 3 juggles I've gotten off of stray headbutt in neutral *chefs kiss*.

I play modern because I'm brand new to all fighting games. It's definitely meant for that and not competitive play. From what I see I lack a bunch of potential and am handcuffed by it. But I just don't have the time to "lab" for hours a day and play casually. I think modern is a great implementation of a control scheme for brand new players at the end of the day. I wouldn't have bought or even play it otherwise.

i saw punks in game profile, dude has negligible time in practice mode. damn and here I am with 60+ hours lmao and still plat rank cammy (I play other characters but cammy was my first and current main)
Cammy combos are all pretty simple, relatively speaking, because so much of her strength comes from your in game decision making. For anyone really, but Cammy specifically, playing GA,ES against people will net you more results than learning massive combos. Cammy doesn't win off one touch due to her low damage, but she has a lot of tools to get a lot of touches. I think this will become more true once people can figure out hooligan oki, which while not great for neutral, has a lot of potential for mix ups from all directions.
