    Thank you for this info! My Nordic stick with street rubbers extends just fine and is stable. I downloaded the Fit Sit PDF and will let you know how it works for me. I am 76 and for over a year it has been a struggle to regain my balance and gait after a severe bout of encephalitis.

      Such a simple idea but widely overlooked. Gives balance and security too. I have a shorter yoga stick and it's very helpful in stabilisation and corrodinating arm movements together. This is good stuff
