These are very similar devices in that neither company has dabbled in note-taking prior to these releases, but the units could not be more different.

i think the lag would drive me nuts on the pocket book,
they've added a note feature to the list but the horsepower behind the screen isn't really going to give you a nice experience.

Each device has its own central idea around which the entire ergonomics is built.
Inkpad X Pro is for scientists, engineers, avid bibliophiles, enthusiasts of old and rare editions; Kindle Scribe is for students, businessmen, creative people.
As the owner of different models of PocketBook and Kindle, I can say that they give completely different feelings. PocketBook gives a feeling of confidence that any book/document/reprint will open and be comfortable to read. Kindle, on the contrary, gives a feeling of simplicity and clarity, when you accept it and don't expect anything complicated and universal from it.

I would love to see a comparison of Pocketbook Verse Pro and Kobo Libra 2. Two at the same price bracket.

The scribe wins for me. I don't need all the features the pocketbook offers, and it doesn't do the one thing I really want and need it to very well. The scribe offers a much cleaner experience.

From a standpoint of dats protection, Pocketbook is a lot better the Kindle.
Also, don’t forget the DRM support which is really important to professionals.
I had asked Pocketbook a couple of questions and drew their attention to the competition; Pocketbook took my points seriously, so I am of good hope that things will turn out well. 😊

I want to buy the PocketbookIXP (Dropbox+split screen for studies it's enough for me), but I'm afraid that the slow downs and lags would mess me up too much.
Moreover I wish that the notes would recognize the handwriting from languages I learn and make some calculations like Kobo does.
Well, I must wait for some updates. Maybe Pocketbook will surprise us, but with Android 8 and 2GB RAM shouldn't be so enthusiastic.
Thank you for your review, cheers.

@@iclonethefirst Thank you Bro, I'm already looking for some reviews of Eo, especially how the stylus is working and if there's an option of splitting the screen. I think I will get it!

Anyone who feels the need to delete comments that address negative things (app usage for the PB X Pro was advertised in the video but not shown; the Kindle app already requires Android 9) is not credible to me.
My comment wasn't the only one that was deleted either.
Let's see when this comment disappears again (this is currently typical and can be observed across all apps from the YT provider).
    Verifiable via screenshots.

Like the scribe but it could pick up features to make it more comparable to other ereaders/enote devices… it’s more limited by amazons development but I think the hardware is there..

Right now, Kindle Scribe looks like the best option for reading and notetakings, but Pocketbook has a lot of potential. I will wait 6 months to a year, and see if either they update their software like Scribe did, or they discontinue and release a PB InkpadX pro 2, like Onyx did with Boox Tab Ultra C to Tab Ultra C Pro.
