    Daniel Fisher, Sweetwater's wizard of waves, demonstrates that Wavestation kind of Wave sequencing synthesis is back and better than ever, in the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer. The Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer is building on the legendary heritage of the original Korg Wavestation from 1990, and with a focus on real-time performance and groundbreaking sample manipulation, everyone from fans of classic '90s synths to forward-thinking sound designers have reason to be excited about the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer. By combining elements of subtractive synthesis, groove boxes and drum machines, and algorithmic composition within a unique architecture, the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer offers sonic capabilities you won't find anywhere else. The Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer comes with the ability to save your presets as a Set List for fast recall, and Smooth Sound Transitions that allow a sound to finish ringing out even after you've changed patches, the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer keyboard could be the new performance synth you've been waiting for.
    After you watch, check out Sweetwater.com today for all your music instrument and pro audio needs! 👉 www.Sweetwater.com/?...
    The Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer has a unique sound engine and practically limitless modulation capabilities, it's clear the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer is ideal for producers, composers, and sound designers. And with the generous set of hands-on controls provided by the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer (much more than the original Wavestation offered!) you have everything you need for expressive real-time performance with the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer. Fans of the original at Sweetwater were pleased to see the return of the Vector Joystick on the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer, giving you XY control over four layers of sound with the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer. The Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer provides easy access to envelopes and LFOs, filters, modulation lanes, and sequence steps.
    And not only does the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer give you ample hands-on control, but the vast majority of knobs on the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer and on-screen parameters can be modulated. With the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer you'll even be able to modulate the settings of individual wave sequence steps, if you want to fine-tune your sounds to that extent while using the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer. And while we're talking modulation, the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer offers built-in modulation signal transformation to get even more creative with your patches, while playing the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer. The Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer will allow modulation signals to be quantized, or smoothed out, or even have their curvature manipulated, rivaling the modulation capabilities of certain modular synthesizer components.
    With gigabytes of samples to explore, the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer features thousands of times more raw samples than the original Wavestation. The Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer packs all the character that made the original Wavestation so popular, but on a whole new level of sound quality and sonic precision.
    Spend some time with the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer and you'll soon love the ability to control four layers of sound at a time with the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer. Use the Vector Joystick on the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer to morph between the layers in real time. Each layer on the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer has its own arpeggiator, and layers on the Korg Wavestate 37-key synthesizer can have up to three dedicated effects like tape echo, reverb, guitar amp modeling, and much more.

    This is fantastic... especially for those who simply like to drop their hands on the keys and play chord combinations. Instant movie scores! That's Korg for ya... they have the magic when it comes to creating musical instruments and I mean musical. Great demo by someone who knows well, melodic chord combinations and texturing.

    Second Korg in a row I purchased after watching your demos ;) Monologue was the first one, and then this one now! This synth sounds incredible and it seems so versatile. The amount of sound shaping, sequencing, and processing that it allows, it is amazing! What a sound designer dream coming true. The randomising also it is just so cool too! Daniel Fisher is the best synth demo-er (and I am guessing a great keyboard player ). I love the other guys too, but he actually plays musical and creative stuff, which is really what it should be about and then he pulls out stuff from unknown places. His review in the latest Arturria Polybrute was heads and shoulders above what the other guys have done.

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  Před 3 lety +6

      Wow! Thank you, ishta! Most of the time I just randomly pick a preset and decide what to play based on the preset's name. Surprisingly, we typically use most of those examples, and only throw away the ones where I completely fail to play something that works. I feel that it's a more honest representation of the product than cherry-picking only the best sounds, and then learning exactly how to play those sounds in the most flattering way. -_Daniel_

    Great to see a video that showcases the sounds of this beast without any talking (love loopops video for the nitty-gritty of that!). I'm definitely on the waiting list for one! Some lovely playing here, btw - you're really good at finding a style that suits each sound you're playing.

      Thanks, Bill. I pretty much decide what I'm going to play based on the sound of the first note of each randomly selected preset, as I play it. If the sound reminds me of a favorite song, I might play that. Or, more often, I make something up as I'm playing and react to each note and chord as I'm playing it. This keeps me on my toes, and I feel that it's a more fair way of demonstrating a synth than to cherry pick the best sounds and prepare songs in advance to showcase them. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for this video. All those review videos don't show a bit of what this synth really is!

    Your power piano pad at 20:09 soothed my raw nerves like sweet honey in the midst of a horrible global pandemic. Well done sir.

    Friend of mine got a Wavestation back in the day.
    But now, 28 years later, I have one on my iPad. And the UI is better.

    Watching Dan play instruments in these videos is going to cost me a lot of money. LOL. He plays so well. Sometimes he plays something familiar but with a twist and so many times it is the type of music I like. He makes it look easy. That makes me want the stuff. This synth is in my Sweetwater wish list now. Now I have to figure out where to put it and what I have to sell to afford it. 🙄😬

    Thank you for this video I literally out it on my debit card after watching it. Creating waveform is so much fun this thing has so much depth and the oscillators and sound engine on this thing is really impressive. Goes well with my JBL speakers I have. Thanks again Daniel Sweetwater has never steered me wrong. Still figuring out the workflow but it's getting easier. Also nice to have a full size synth so I can let loose on the Keyboard!
