Did any of these measuring tips surprise you? Let me know if you learned something new 😀
Natashas Kitchen probably a good video for a young teens who just start to cook....
Yes!! And this is the question people ask me the most - it is surprising how many people measure inaccurately which can completely kill a baking recipe.
А можно сделать видео и рассказать разницу в граммах и Миллиграммах и Как это измерять Нависах или в кружке.
Loved the oil and honey trick! Thanks a bunch ;)
Natashas Kitchen я не знала,что муку нужно накладывать ложкой в стакан..я просто зачерпываю её прямо из ёмкости..спасибо за юмор
Thnx this was our assignment😁
John Yousuf Navales wow

Hahahahahah hi classmates
John Yousuf Navales you know me?

I've been cooking / baking for 40 years & JUST learned the difference between wet & dry measuring. Thank you!
I’m glad to hear you’re continuing to learn even though you’re a pro cook already! 👌🏻
So any classmates here because of our assignment ? Hahaha

Truee
Yep foods class
Yeaaaaa
yeah ive got a quiz on the video and cant remember a couple of answers :/
I love Natasha and her recipes. I would however like to add something from my own research. I now only use a scale and weigh ALL of my ingredients, especially flour. It is always accurate, and if using a scale with a “tare” feature, faster! And less dishes as well. I experimented with even the spoon and level and that can be off too. But for many Americans who insist on using cup measurements, the method that Natasha is recommending is by far the most accurate. And for some of Natasha’s recipes, I use her method of measuring so as to replicate her results.
Once I started using a scale, my baked goods were from that point on, always consistent.
A gram is always a gram and an ounce is always an ounce, which is why the pros use weights.
This was a very interesting video and as always, Natasha is absolutely charming. And her daughter is as well!
I used this for my 7th grade cooking class
Same here
so do i
Sameeeee
Samee
im tryna do it for the same but I needed baking soda and it isnt in this video :(
I want to say how amazing your work is. I have many of your recipes saved. I like to study your videos and make my own notes. Everything I make from your recipe is great! Hi Natasha 😊 I was actually measuring my flour wrong 😳 I would scoop it out and level instead of spooning it in first.
Now I know why my dough would always be dry and needing to add more liquid.

Being a Brit, we rarely use the measuring ups, but I do come access many lovely America’s recipes that call for cups and I never know how to properly use them.
Now I do !

Holy Iron Maiden concert! I have to leave a comment, and quick! It's stuck at 666, I don't know if it matters or not but we can't just leave it that way. This video is a delight on so many levels, no matter what standard you measure by. Thanks, Natasha!
When I measure dry ingredients or butter, I always add in a bit more because sometimes it gets stuck to the sides so I lose some
That’s alright as long as you don’t add too much
I'm English and just about to try an American cookie recipe with cups measurements (English recipes generally use grams or ounces) so this has been really helpful! Thanks!! :)
I have brought some stone mesuring cups. As we use tea spoons ect. I felt getting proper mesuring cups would help me save ingrediants.
Nice to learn about the flour. Up to 25% more can defiantly be the reason a few of my bakes came out wrong. Thank you.
You are welcome Chris 😀
And very helpful
Thank you ! 😊👍🌷❤️
You are hilarious! Love the videos.
Thanks so much!
