When I was 17 I ate a charge for the lil homie because I didnt want his life ruined he was 15 I did end up beatin the case due to lack of evidence and in a best case scenario both myself and the lil homie ended up attendin college I havent finished yet but lil homie is close and I'm happy for him.

When I was 15 I was told I'm facing a minimum of 8 years for something dumb. My dad slapped me in front of the police when I was about to talk, got an attorney, and I never even saw the courtroom.
If it wasnt for him I'd have put myself in cuffs.

Unless u worked there (i did when i was young) an took a pic of the side, which still might not have the full ingredients..its only imitation recipes, but basically the same. A french fry there has over 900 ingredients my manager always said "thats no potatoe". Imagine the sauces ingredients just to last for the whole tube..probably better to make it at home lmao

i was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison in Danbury CT for money laundering, tax invasion and witness intimidation i could had snitched on my family but immediately lawyered up and the FEDS were so mad but respected the fact that i was 19yrs old and stood tall

Been away from Family for 14 years now, Not Prison, but Military life, and chasing money. That Line "When your gone, you are forgot. But when you are back, you are missed" Hits home. Just made it to the next interview closer to family, and that really helped me. Making the right choice to focus on getting closer to those that matter than focusing on money. You are a champ Joe.
I think the best advice in a situation like this is when you get pulled in for questioning, lawyer up before saying anything.
Best advice . The cops are just middle man. They don’t prosecute you . They just try to get as much evidence as they can to help the prosecutor to prosecute you.

"When you're gone you're forgotten and when your back you're missed." Some of the realest shit I have heard in a long time. Got to love this guy. He keeps it real that's for sure. I'm not going to act like I've done some hard time because I've only have done 2 months in jail when I was 20 but to be honest those 2 months I have never been so productive in my life I learned so much about myself and I started to take my life more seriously probably because I was sober. Tbh I kind of wish I was back strangely enough. Ik I just need to make a change in my life but it's something about it really made me want to better myself and I did. I was working out everyday, reading, and crafting my skills as an artist and a strength builder and just becoming more self aware of how my actions no matter how small affect the people around u. And I think that why people don't stay sober for long once they get out even if they want to all that weight on your shoulders has built up and don't start falling it until ur sober. I was depressed the first month I was in there but just before I left it seemed like I started to see some light. However, even with how much I told myself I would turn things around once I got out it took only a year of sobriety and depression to be pretty much back where I was before I went In of course I stayed pretty much clear of what got me in there which was alcohol but picked up other habits instead. I'm 24 now and hope I can fight these demons once more if not for myself but for my family. Mental health is a serious problem and I think we all should start taking it more serious I'm a sting believer that the world's drug epidemic is mainly due to self medication and we all should take a step back and try to do something about it that's actually going to be benificial before it's honestly to late. People don't want to be dependant on a substance no matter what they say it's just how people deal with the fucked up world.

I actually got less time then my co defendant who snitched me out. Do to the fact that I didnt talk at all so only evidence they had was him snitching. Well this led to plea deals for probation for me.

My friend went thru that crap. They told him to name folks or he was going awy for 20+ for what he had hidden. Someone had told the cops where he had the stash. ( a snitch). Then they talked him into wearing a wire and ride around with them for a day ,showing locations of dealers. The boy had to move and go hide out for a yr. Folks were beating on his door all night threatening to kill him for cooperating. He went into hiding. The bad part is the day after he rode around with them they came back and arrested him again. Locked him up with the evidence of the wiring on his body with the ones he snitched on. He got shafted by the cops and his own buddies. Its a tangled web of deceit and fear when you lie or tell the truth either one. Moral of the story: DONT DO ILLEGAL SHIT AND YOU WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANY OF IT!
Or if you are going to commit a crime, know the sentence for the crime and be prepared to do the time when you get caught. Never ever snitch.

Joe...... former attorney here. once you take a plea you can still appeal your sentencing. There are criminal sentencing guidelines. You can't appeal the underlying charges that you plead to, but you can absolutely appeal your sentencing.
My uncle and father were both lawyers and my pops said they only way to appeal a plea deal is if the prosecution offered something illegal or if the prosecutor gives false and misleading information to the defense it's called prosocial misconduct

No but this is a fact, heard it from cops, lawyers, & it's not to hard to find out on your own who does. Honestly it's pretty much common sense really, watch & pay attention to those around, their movements, & body language, etc etc, , & you can read the type they are, & most are that type.
