@@wasabebo8334 The odd thing is: In a world with easy immortality abilities, rezz and gigabuffed solo-tanks one shots don't even have the biggest impact. Otherwise everyone and their mum would just grind Widow and win all matches. Even cheaters are stuck in Masters.
@@Nexahexaflexa You can't predict a hitscan oneshot with immos, and rezz is liable to get the Mercy killed because, like, the Widow just shoots her, too.
Widow is a terrible character, tbh. She's in the category of characters that would serve the game better if they were simply removed entirely.
@@FlamingNinjaBoi Not defending one shots, just saying the impact isn't as big as people think. Just look at the outcome of games. Sure a good Widow can carry, but having good aim on Widow is not a auto-win. Team fights won't be decided by one-shot mechanics, there is too much way more OP stuff going on that is way easier to execute too.

@@alexandruconstantin4655could be possible. But if you hold yourself instead of others accountable for games you will improve your individual skill. I went from plat to peaking t40. It took me 6 or so seasons. No one wants to put in the time but it’s unavoidable if you want to improve
I try playing like him but I cant aim and then get games where Im constantly dove and my teammates dont help me kill the guys constantly diving me

I love that whenever I feel as if I've hit a plateau in terms of decision making and uptime in a fight, Awkward makes me reconsider that and he demonstrates a large range of new things I can take notes of and apply in my own games. Keep up the amazing educational videos Awkward ❤️👍

The real challenge is to start in bronze and climb to GM now. It would be way harder than an unranked to GM haha.

I beg to differ, the amount of times I've seen a tank or dps throw the game from stupidity numbers in the hundreds now. I don't mind on QP, cos people go there to try different heroes and tactics, but if you're gonna play comp, know what you're doing.
That being said, I approach each game as if everything is going to be my fault.
@@OneBiteoftheCherry Don’t get me wrong, I do make some mistakes, but not enough for it to be the sole reason I’m hard stuck. I also don’t play a ton of games per season which could be an issue on climbing as well.
@DillonMW Bro we all make mistakes 😵💫. Sometimes I do some proper dumb shit. Yeah, I don't play ranked too much really to climb tbh, I have too many other things I do with my life. It ain't a big deal. It would just be nice too play with team mates who have a better understanding.

A tip on Ana is when you are reloading halfway through the animation on the bottom right of the screen when it shows you’re back to full ammo melee to cancel the animation so you can start shooting again

I went only Winston for a couple weeks dropped to silver and got up to diamond so thanks for the advice that led to my highest rank!
i started this game out in gold and have floated there for about a month, (yes i'm that new, no im not an fps player, no i'm not bragging.) This video already helped me get a crapload more damage and healing without sacrificing one or the other on ana and zen!

even when i do alright in a ranked game, i very often have teammates who INSTANTLY die sometimes even before the fight even starts, every single fight, how am i supposed to rank up if i am consistently having teammates like that
Make a new account, get placed and if ur above ur rank then ur good and if ur not then self reflect
Because if it happens consistently on your team, it's happening consistently on the enemy team as well. Enemy team has 5 chances of having a bad player/thrower, your team has 4 chances of a bad player. If you are good and never throw. If you can't climb, you are one of the bad players

People throw games by trying t o get 1 percent ult charge and dying. In low ranks everyone will follow you and not rotate out. Fastest way to lose first point.
