Because their usual logic is.. "bitchy people get more air time, because of drama" This is true, because these all making it to air. Is evidence that being bitchy, gets them more air time. And regardless of the show, these girls are all wanting the same thing. Fame, and often the most famous person from a reality show, is not the winner. it's the one that makes the biggest scene on their eviction night, causes the big row that gets everyone angry or back stabs the most people. Their understanding is Airtime = Potential earnings after the show.
I think the people who say this only say it because they realize how rude or nasty they're behaving and excuse it by saying "well, I wasn't here to make friends" which actually translates to "I wasn't here to be a decent person or project a positive image of myself." which is a really crap method of getting good exposure in case they don't win IMO, as well as just plain wrong.
This is what's killing the human spirit; competition, individualistic hunger for success, unfettered capitalism, and selfish greed. When you've destroyed everyone on your totalitarian quest to be the best, who will be there to congratulate you? Cynicism, anger, lies, cheating, manipulation, and hatred will only further divide us all from the truth: we are here to love, encourage, and support one another. Let go of racial bias, judgment, religion, nationalism and discover the family of ONE that we could become as brothers and sisters.
