I met him once, many, many moons ago. He was hanging out w/a pretty lady, and we had a funny exchange where I'd complimented Al on being "one of our funniest and most underrated comedians" -- a phrase he appreciated. I hadn't recognized her -- it was comedienne Judy Tenuta (if you Google her, she used to wear crazy makeup on stage; off-stage, she was gorgeous), but w/the "thanks," I recognized her voice and went "Oh Ms. Tenuta, you're great too!" in a tone that was CLEARLY a lie (I was poking the bear). She went "Yeah, yeah." And I leaned in to Al and went "She's not buying it." He replied "She never does."😁
I met Weird Al at Awesome Con last year and he signed my concert book and seemed generally interested in it too! Super nice guy just what I thought he'd be like in real life!!

I worked at a Casino in Arizona and a couple of our golf course ads had Alice in them...I had to look twice. I also saw him a few times at our amphitheater. Al also played our amphitheater.
I never thought Weird AL Yankovic was weird. I always thought he was immensely talented and had a finely tuned sense of satirical humor. I've enjoyed his musical renderings for a couple of decades, now, and I think my favorite is "The Hamilton Polka".
