    Thank you so much for this review. Super helpful. I love the sound of the overheads

    They sound as good as any other mics I would use for 1/3rd the price.

    Thanks for reviewing this. It was really helpful. Do you still use them, since it's been a few months now and you've had a chance to test their build quality a bit more? Also, any word on when you might get more of these units with the free mic cables in stock on Pixel Pro Audio? Thanks again!

      We've got two kits on order, so hopefully coming soon! We actually sold this set, so we haven't been able to see how they hold up long term :(

      I've been using this set since April for my band and doing live sound for other bands as well and their durability is great. There's a little bit of paint chipping around the xlr in but besides that they hold up great. I personally don't use the bass drum mic, it was the first thing I upgraded (beta 52a). I also use an sm57 on the snare.

    Have y’all tested the Phenyx drum mics or the Behringer drum mic packs?

    I would use those. I've used expensive ones and to be honest I wasn't impressed. Good sounding drums are half the battle. Without good sounding drums even the most expensive mics won't make a difference

    Maybe tuning your drums properly would help you more 👍

      That kick drum was horrifically tuned.

    🤨 The ST-4 has more low-end than the kick mic?

    • @holmessph7
      @holmessph7 Před 10 měsíci

      Kick is NOT tuned well. It’s not the mic.

      Agreed. The bass mic did not sound great.

      Would agree. I'm comparing this with the samson DK707-7. I think samson is better, except for it's snare.
