You should check out the Sennheiser 900 series, different price league, but this is what I’m using both live and in the studio, boundary kick drum microphones are standard in the live industry but I see them seldom in studio recording (I use them for both), would be interested to hear your views on these, especially the boundary microphone for kick, actually my favourite mic for kick, both inside and out is the MBHO MBNM 630, as they say themselves “magic” .
